Actually that's not what I think at all. It's just very entertaining to mock you. And the reason why I never replied to you again was because it's not worth it. It's not worth getting upset over someone like you. Your "valid reason" for stating that you probably should have something against me over some debate isn't my problem. It's really not THAT serious. If I thought it was serious, I probably would've PMed you personally. But there's no need for that unless you still feel you have a problem with me. If so, then just talk to me about it. Don't be all like, "Damn, she's just a vindictive b***h" or something, because that's DEFINITELY not going to change my opinion about you. .-.

Our laws are based on the Ten Commandments, pretty much...and we break them a lot.. So yeah, they'd be pissed at that too. But at least we have some law system that still punishes people. You know...without cutting off their hands or something..

There's also something about it being okay to have a male companion if you cannot find a woman around.

But I personally don't believe to follow any bible, as they are outdated views of the world. Maybe they were fine then, but...we live differently now. We need to adapt our thinking as needed.

You can't necessarily avoid changing someone's opinion though. It may or may not happen. You can't comprehend that what you write may not affect someone. You simply do not know.. .-.

I'm not going to apologize for my question though. I probably should, but it was more of a "thinking question" rather than "OH I'M GOING TO CHANGE YOUR OPINION FOR SURE!" question.. .-.

actually are laws are barely based on the ten commandments at all. If I'm not mistaken only two commandments rank as laws.

Wow@some of the replies O_o;

Personally, I don't have much of a view on homosexuality/homosexuals... I don't mean that in a careless way or anything. I don't have any problems with them in general, I treat them like the human beings they are. :]
It's only the ones who start drama and make lame excuses for somebody not liking them are the ones who get on my nerves. One person annoyed me, online o' course... so he started e-drama, claiming I'm a homophobe just because he got on my nerves. O.o;

I generally hate it when people assume you're upset with them because of who they are... Usually, that's not the case. .-.

And I hate how this kid, well he's not a kid anymore because he's my age, that went to my elementary as well as my high school is all, "Hi, I'm gay. My name's Danny." like he practically shoves it in your face. Why do something like that? It's almost as if he's forcing you to accept it. ->__>-''

And yeah, Shadow, I saw two programs just on that. I watch the history channel a lot so... .-.

Meh, my view on it constantly changes... I mean, before I thought it was "wrong" but after all the s**t that I've been through with my brother who was getting married next year dumped his fiance and started going out with this crack manwhore... meh, took awhile to get used to.

I put quotes around "wrong" because there isn't a "right" way either. I mean, homosexuals are people like you and me, they just have a different private life than we do. They don't bother me... UNLESS THEY'RE MIDDLE AGED MEN WHO HIT ON ME! domokun Now THAT is wrong, especially when I go into a HETEROSEXUAL STRIP BAR AND GET HIT ON BY A GUY! stressed

So, basically, gay people are ok, as long as you don't have to experience their private lives. (You know, the URF URF URF!) xp

Yeah cause TV doesn't lie and certainly isn't biased. The people who do research for those shows usually have an aim. You can force connections between anything if you want to. You should try reading more and doing some of your own leg work. At least if you're gonna talk down to people anyways. Relying on other peoples research to form your standpoint.

Yeah because historians definitely lie about everything and are completely forcing their own viewpoints on you...even though they never really said that the members of the Constitutional Convention or what have you were like, "Let's use the Ten Commandments. Yeah!". They never said that, I never said that. You seriously need to stop screwing with my words... You do have to admit, they are similar.. I mean, they could've been something the Convention concerned. Not like any of those people were as religiously diversed as we are today... But most of the laws deal with morality..and we did exclude some, but they're kind've "Oh you really shouldn't do that, but...it's not really against the law". It's more of a "code" between people. Like your woman hookin' up with some other man. That's not cool. Back in the day, that was a serious thing.

Now, it's changed, of course. And yeah, I think I know the similarities between our own laws and past laws...it's..not that hard to see. I learned that in my freshman year of high school. I mean, anyone who actually looked at the laws could figure that out. You don't have to have a degree to know that... .-. And I didn't even really talked you down, so..I don't know where that came from. And no, I don't look at their research and automatically believe it, sorry. This is something I've been looking at, like I said, since I was a freshman in high school. Like I said, it's not that hard to find the similarities. .-.

Wtf was this topic, again? Oh right...

Today was Nation Coming Out Day or something...but I didn't really see anyone "celebrate" it.. .-.

But Gem should've stayed inside anyway. domokun

Gemineye, you didn't say why you think it's wrong. I'm curious.

I understand why people wouldn't like homosexuals. But the reasons why some say homosexuality is wrong are usually quite stupid. Like "it's not natural". But I think everyone has the right not to like homosexuals, as they have the right not to like politics, or scary movies, or bananas, though we should be respectul always.

I personally don't mind homosexuals much. I just don't like girly guys and guyish girls.

And I really don't like homosexuals who think they're in any way better or more special than heteroes. They're not.

One thing most people don't like about homosexuals EVEN applys to heterosexual people: NO ONE likes getting someone else's personal life shoved in their face. I mean, it's ok if you're a homosexual, just don't tell me explicit details. gonk I mean, I don't go off telling you I saw this awesome chick one day and got so effing hard and crap, so you don't have to tell me s**t like that when YOU see someone you like. Some of them don't see that, the feel that they need to be open about everything and they should be treated equal. Well, other than the fact they can't get legally married, they are like everyone else.

Gay marrige though is a different issue with me since that crosses the border of church and state. It's fine if they can get legal documentation, but get married in a church? That's not going to happen. People should respect other's culture and not force s**t. (I'm not saying some people try to do that, and if anyone ever does that to you, SMACK THEM UP!) So yeah, I think they should be able to marry just not in a church. =x

Hmmm...

You know, I used to be quite homophobic. Being a smaller guy with pretty hair, I used to get flirted with by gay guys and it used to worry me. I was more worried that they might "turn me gay" xd Now I know that is silly but hey, I grew up having a very sheltered life ^^;

Now, many years later, I am quite comfortable in my sexuality and can quite easily say if I think a man is attactive or not and not worry if somebody things thats 'gay'.

As far as gay rights go, I don't know. As far as people go, they are fine. Sure some are hardcore flamers, which can get annoying but its only the rare few that are like that anyways. Its like that with any group of people though, some are just asses. Nothing you can do to change that xd

Now, I don't know if I say I would think thier lifestyle is 'wrong' per se... I know I don't go in for that kinda thing but who is to say what is right and what is worng. Its not like they are hurting any one other then themselves... no lube joke xd Now sure, you can take the whole bible says its rong thing too, again, not saying that the bible is wrong, far from it, but who is to say that they can think they are so righteous as to deem what other people do is so wrong if they aren't hurting others?
This is all, of course, BULLSHIT.
he met me and i turned him gay cause i'm so gorgeous.
lol

in all seriousness though.
Gay, straight, whatever.
Love is love.
no matter who you are; your sex, your race... no matter.
As long as both understand what they are getting into. more power to you.

but then mebbe im biased since you all know my position on buttsex.
hahaha.

seriously though.
homosexuality isn't a disease. it's not something you catch.
it's who you are.
you like guys? cool.
You like Gals? cool.

just like the song.
"guys who do guys like they're girl who like boys..."

as ling as it's love. it's all good.

plus Lust can be Pretty damn fun too.

and to be honest...
Homosexuality is just this decades jew.
in the temrs of the world needing a scape goat.
it sucks, sinc emost people are willing to think that homosexuals are ******** up and wrong just for BEING GAY, not because of their actions or who they are individually.
that makes bean sad.
with tears.
