just to try to clear a little bit up, opog has also posted that there is evidence in the HGN that the Borens Syndrome is just a mask in attempt to hide his past in the Orion Project. in a dialouge from the hgn 2 users are talking to each other and it is believed that
"Paris/BS spoof" is Johnson. he was on Paris IV where he used an entire crate of Plasma gernades, but BS spoof could easily mean Borens Syndrome spoof. and both Halsey, and Ackerson were denied access into his logs. if Ackerson couldn't weasle his way into some information, then there may be even more to johnson being a Spratan I.
also, we can't realllly be sure that the "dead" flood dna in his system is really "dead" or how do we know for sure that he got it on Alpha halo. what if the flood regerative properties were in his blood before he got to Alpha Halo? if he was a spartan I that puts him at near 70 years old. he doesn't look it, and continues to be a great character. but this leads me to believe that part of the Orion project had something to do with introducing flood to the hopefuls in attempt to create some kind of...flood spartan for lack of a better term.

Johnson is not a spartan,Spartan II meens that they are the second gen of spartan yes,but it is the second in history.they came after the spartans that fought in thermopily in greece.sergeant johnson has the disease and he is a normal marine,but he's better than other marines cuase he is a bad-a**.besides,they're not going to make a main charecter an average joe becuase he would be boring and not as intresting of a person.And how come he gets hurt just as easy and is just as tall as everyone else.the "facts" you have are intresting,really,but even if the graphic novel does make him a spartan I,its not actualy part of the series,its a comic.simple as that. stare
