Darren nodded at her, "I'll be careful. Besides if you hadn't notice I'm all scarred up." He grinned at her as he headed for the door. "Neko's maybe a little exotic here, but it's not uncommon. Trust me and take care." Some of them started to cry and others turned there back towards him. He petted a few heads as he passed by leaving them again, this time almost certainly not to return.

Lanen sighed and began to comfort those that she could, trying to convince other's that everything would be okay. Most listened to her but alot of them still cried and what not. With a sigh she watched Darren leave.

Darren moved away quickly, not letting anyone see him come out of the hide out to keep it secret and safe. He went back to the main road. It was dark and quiet out now, and he need to get a room. "Let's see.. to more weeks..study.. get a hold of the people at the university, go through their library.." He mumbled to himself, planning out the rest of his time in the country.

The guards moved as one entity through the streets as they kept their eyes out for a neko, possibly hooded by a sand colored cloak. There were plenty of those cloak colors around but now that it was getting later and people were retreating to their houses it would not be as bad. One of the guards spotted something, someone that matched close to the description and they quickly started to move towards the man. "Halt!" one ordered as they started to spread out now to cirlce the cat boy.

"What for?" He asked softly, stopping and leaving his hood up as he glanced around the circle of men in the darkness. "I haven't broken any laws or insulted Felix."

"No, you have not, at least that we know about." Said the guard who was obviously in charge of this excursion. "But we have order's to take you to the palace." He said as he moved forward to apprehend Darren.
After calming the kids in the hideout, Lanen left to get that nights meal. Most of it was in the hideout but there was a few otehr things she needed to get them. It was then that she noticed Darren and the trouble he was in. 'Bloody guards. They aren't going to take him like they took Marco.' She thought as she prepared herself to fight.

"I feel so .. special, but I have urgent business that requires my immed.." He glanced over at the Lanen, catching her scent on the wind. Darren looked over at her and shook his head, he'd gotten caught because of her once. The kids needed her. If he was caught, it wouldn't because of her, not again.
"Sorry.. I spaced out..where was I .. oh yeah. Bye!" The neko flipped over them and dashed down the street.

Lanen watched, wanting to help him. But she was not sure if she should go or not. He told her not to but he was no longer their leader. She could help him yet she did not, at least not at the moment. She had to think things through.
The guards ran after him. One noticed the girl that he shook his head to and frowned before running after Darren with the others. If they did not catch him the Crown Prince would be angry.

He scaled one of the booth and climbed up on top of the buildings. Darren had to get away that was it, he just had to, although running did being up memory of chased by the cops, although they were much more incompetant.

The men watched as he climbed on top of the building and they suddenly spread out to get him. It wasn't this hard to grab that Marco boy. One man was climbing on top of the building after him and when he was finally up he ran towards the neko as quick as he could.

Darren kicked a man who was half way on the building, off the building, so that he fell with a thud to the ground, but he missed the man who was right behind him and grabbed him up. "Let me go or your going to regret it!"

"I don't think so kid. The Prince has his eye on you and when he sees someone he likes he'll have him, or her." He said, still holding Darren while the other guards started to come up to assist him.

Darren struggled, but he was getting swarmed. He could change into a lion or he might damage the text and lose his lead. "I'm not for having!! I am a free citizen, and your can't do this to me!!"

"Correction, you were a free citizen until the Prince decided to have you." The man said as he started to drag him off of the building and towards the palace. The other guards were smiling as they followed the one holding the boy.

Darren headbutt him with the back of his back so that he would let go. The neko took off to try and jump off the roof to the other food, but the rocks crumbed out from beneath him and he fell to the ground. He landed alright, but one of the rocks landed on top of his head and knock him out cold. He laid in the alleyway, sprawled out, and out cold. "Zanderu.." He murmured softly right before he passed out.
