Vib stood by her side proudly, he culd fathom what it was like to be burdened with the extra weight in ones tummy but he would offer his lvoe all the help and support he could give.
Tossing his mane he stood guard over her eyes blazign a challange of anything to try and take HIS Awny away from him.

"So, tell me about Shade," She needed a subject to take her mind off of thinking about the foals in her. Awnae is much more nicer now. So it would be fine if someone she didn't like just walked by. Although she would need Vib there for her, everywhere she goes, she'll need him to watch her and anything else around them. The brown mare smiled up at her mate and just breathed heavily because the babies started kicking again.

A cold wind whipped against Vib's body and his head jerked upwords ears pricked straight ahead as his body tremboled. "Awny ... she's here Shade is in the Soquili homelands," in every fiber of his body Vib could feel her coming drawing ever closer to him, though with an encounter pending he began to actually worry as to weather she'd accept Awny.
Shade snorted her mane rippling against the cold wind, the feathering on her hooves appeared to be like ghostly blue flames licking around her hooves. Her mane rippled like a calm sea but every so often it's gracefull flow was interupted by a blue spark of flames.
Twin horns jutted form her forhead, they seemed to be held together by a strong chain is if they'd break off and fall with it's absence. Dangling around her neck she wore a Croix De Noirse, or cross of the black hearted knight. She was an evil creature born of hells fire and made cold by hatered, could anyone warm this monsters heart?

Feeling butterflies, instead of foals, in her stomache now. Awnae flicked her tail and closed her eyes. Letting her senses guide her to where the mare might be. Soon afterwards her ears picked up hooves hitting the ground, slowly walking. It was then she knew for sure Shade was coming their way. Her heart thumped, in the silence she could almots hear it. Even as the wind blew harder, it seemed like it went harder each time as each step Shade has taken. Each time her heart beats. Sensing that her mate's step mother is not all nice, even if she is Vib's mate.
Opening her eyes, they trailed across the land and soon she could see blue sparks appearring. Looking up at Vib, she could see that he was worried, dfrom the indside.

Vib smiled at her, before turning his head and letting out a loud whinny and greeting, the mare heading twoards them paused then her pace picked up into a gallop as she tore across the land like a streak of greased lightning.
She galloped until she neared them then her hooves skidded in the dirt and she stood standing there staring at the two, her eyes stayed on Vib for a long minuute a smile of joy spreading her muzzle as she looked at the stallion before her, then the glowing orbs turned to Awny.
She assed the mare for a long moment her eyes almost seeming to bore into Awny's very sole. "My my Vib seems you have found you a pretty little mare," she dipped her head in greeting 'it's a pleasure m'dear i'm NightShade."

Little?! Why you... The mare stopped her self from saying anything rude out loud. Relaxing her body, the mare forced a smile, but one that looked like a real. "Real nice to meet you NightShade. I'm Awnaety. You could just call me Awnae. Vib has told me about you." Nodding her head with the fake smile on her face. Afraid that this mare may unapprove her to be Vib's mate. Then Awnae's heart would be crushed, since she is carrying his babies and she loved him so much.
Blinking, all she could do was wait for someone else to speak. While the silence came, Awnae scanned Shade. She had many horns on her head, or the most she has seen. Then she had a sign on her rump just like Vib did. Plus very nice hair to match herself, after that it was the flames she noticed last on her hoofs. They were glowing bright, looking like they'll never die away. Even the strong winds look weak compared to the flames.

The stallion flentched seeing the anger flood through his mate, he knew Shade well enough to know she'd meant it was a complament to Awny not as a mean remark, "Awny is my mate mother." He smiled proudly his tail wagging back and forth.
"Has he now? Hopefully it has all been good," she turned her head twoards Vib the glowing eyes watching him with the proud air of a mother. For a Kalona Shade was actually rather short but she still held an air of power and grace that many could not match.
"Oh? Thats good that you've found yourself a good mare," she turned to Awny again, she'd seen many females become pregnant in her long life and she could tell that this mare was. "With child no less how delightful i came at the right time then," she looked at Vib once more whom was standing there with the proudest smile he could muster.

Oh boy, Kalonas are good. Shade noticed she was pregnant even when her stomache wasn't that big. Her eyes showed cheerfulness now. "I'm glad to be with him," smiling up at Vib. Awnae thought of questions to ask this mare. "Do you have a mate?" she didn't want to remind Shade of anything bad, if there were bad stuff in her love life. Although she liked to know since they were on the subject anyways. Her stomache felt pain again, the babies kicked pretty hard. Who knew how many were in there, it really did feel like ten thousand. It was hard to tell but Awnae would have liked it if she had three in there, if she had to feel this much pain then she better get something good ut of it.

He smiled lovingly at his mate then turned his eyes almost sadlly to Shade when Awny spoke of her maybe haing a mate. He was pretty happy to see that Shade didn't take up an angry look when Awny asked just serene and calmness washed over the kalona.
She looked to the sky, "i did have love once but the stallion disappeared probably on some hunt for things he'll never find, or maybe to fight some useless battle. But Nightmare was a warrior and i have no right to chain him down maybe one day he shall surface again."
She shook her mane slightly the silken hair whispering across her neck like a sea of silk.

Awnae's heart dropped, she had expected something bad to come. She just had that certain feeling to it. Her eyes kinda watered. "Sorry," the mare said looking down. After that silence came by again, was there anything else she could say. How about changing the subject. "So, uhm...I'm truly excited to see our foals," nuzzling Vib and smiling at Shade. "I'm sure they'll enjoy being with you," her eyes glistened with happiness. "By the way, what brings you here?" Nodding, not remembering if Vib had told her why or not, besides the fact to come and visit Vib and herself.

Vib nibbeled on her ear playfully and smiled ebfore turning his eyes to Shade once more "Yes, i believe they will enjoy your company as i do." A grin stretched his muzzle in pride and joy at the thought of his children that would soon be making his family whole, for the most part.
She smiled "I do hope they enjoy me as much as Vib and his little sister when they were born." She shook her mane, Shade had never had foals of her own and didn't completly know the pride of raising your own young but she was still happy for her young step-son and his little mate.

Waiting a few more minutes for Shade to answer her question, Awnae figured tat she probably iosn't going to. So she thought she just let the question fade. Her heart still pounded of excitement for her foals to be born. Soon they will be. How hard can it be to raise babies. You just wait for them to grow and they're free to roam around the area. Of course you'll need to keep an eye for them. Wind picked up on speed, it started to blow harder and soon it had stopped to take a short break before going back to it's rush. Nothing came to mind, so Awnae had nothing to say.

Vib shook his mane and let ut a grunting noise which seemed to wake Shade up from whatever daydream she'd lapsed into at the moment.
Shade blinked and suddenly remembered Awny's question "I'm unsure exactly why i cam but i did come, maybe it was to see Vib or maybe it was just to get away and start life anew with a clean slate."

Nodding at Shade, she had nothing to really say back. What to talk of now, there was nothing. "Well, I'm sure you'll find a lot of the soquilis here are quite nice. Some might be a little...annoying," Smiling at her mate's step mother. It was great to meet her, she felt like if Shade was her own mother too. Mst of the time, Awnae expected all Kalonas to act the same. Mean, annoying, and makes no sense. Plus a show-off. Also, she hoped that NightShade will find the perfect mate on soquili lands. It'll be great news! Her eyes flicked from looksing at Shade to staring at Vib. Watching the wind blow through his hair, she sighed of happiness and kept watching. Dreamy...

Vib looked around "well! why don't we find our way to the river!" he nipped Awny playfully and spun aorund trotting forward his tail raised up whisking against the chilling wind as he meandered his way to the river.
Shade followed behind her step son her ears were always moving listning to everything that made a noise. All her senses were sharp for the fact she was a huntress eating meat instead of grass. She shook her mane and let out a soft snort shifting her wings on her back.
