see as advent children was in the works for a few years, and was out in japan a year and a half before here, yeah, I bet it will be a while...

I think the story two years ago and the more recent one actually have to do with separate projects, the former already being abandoned. I think it was abandoned because of other video game to movie attempts that were poorly received by the public they were supposed to cater to. In effect, that means they "went back to the drawing board" for all intents and purposes.
To answer the question of when it might be out, we really aren't sure. It's all rumor and speculation.

Here you guys are! I haven't been around for a few months because, well it seemed like many of the active members had fallen through a rift in the space-time-continuem. I'm glad to see that's not the case wink .
