K'Anatak watched as Bathsheba seemed to get irritated with him, why was he so horrible at what he was supposed to do? He didn't want her mad at him, the last thing he wanted actually. Perhaps he should just crawl in a whole for a few years and try to sort his head out.
Her words were true, he knew them all too well now, recently he tried to help a goddess, he only wanted to help, but he seemed to make it worse. He would always from now on ask others if they wished for his services, not just act upon his own accord.
"I hope I did not upset you Vathsheba, if I did...I apologize," his wings curled around his form, eyes falling to teh ground. Why was he such a hopeless god right now? His brother did just fine with his powers, but K'Anatak sometimes struggled to understand his.

Bathsheba twisted her gaze away from his slumped form, unable to watch him in such a manner. What was he doing? It seemed rather pointless to her and it instilled a sense of guilt in her stomach. She clicked her tongue of the top of her mouth once and sighed, shaking her head, "I did not say you had, so I do not see why you would assume it to be so." Her tone was slightly softer, but it still held it's tight and propper nature. Trying to clear the stone hardness from her voice, but only managing to do so slightly she added, "It is alright. You were doing only what you were suposed to. Do not be ashamed of it."

K'Anatak listened to ehr voice, softer now, still hiding something...NO! He couldn't why did he always assume? Perhaps it was part of his nature, sometimes he wished it was not so. "I'm sorry, just, usually, when things go wrong...it's usually always my fault because of it..." He rolled his shoulders and sat up on his haunches and looked over to her. A smile upon him still, black eyes watching her, "Do forgive me, perhaps it is part of my nature..." he hoped she would, Bathsheba was so nice in her own way. He hoped they would be friends, would be nice, he knew that.

"Do no apollogize," she told him simply. And while there was kindness in her voice, it was very stern. It was rather strange to think that, at this moment, she was the younger of the two. "You have nothing to be sorry for. And therefore, there is nothing to forgive," a smile teased her maw, but did not fully emerge. It couldn't. Her tail curled idly to the side as she tilted her head, her violet gaze fixed upon him. "As for things being your fault...I do believe that is a matter of perspective. Blame seems rather unpreductive to me, however."

"Yes, you're right, it's silly for me to act this way," he smiled at her, seeing part of a smile upon her maw, made him happy inside, that he almost got her to smile. "I just see things as my fault perhaps for forgiveness of anything I really have done wrong...silly though, don't know exactly why I do it," he watched her, hmmm, was she younger then he? Perhaps, how long had he lived this time around in this form? He couldn't remember, "For someone such as you, even the faintest of smiles is a beautiful thing, can glow in the night as a star can in the sky," K'Anatak felt something surge in him. Was it? No, why was it coming now? He wanted to stay here, with Bathsheba, didn't want to go on his quest again, but he felt something clsoe, perhaps he might catch them today.
"I'm sorry, but it seems I might have to go again, to find them," his ears fell backwards somewhat, showing he was saddened by that fact, "Perhaps, we can see eachother again Bathsheba?"

"You flatter me, though I do believe you are exagerating," She shook her head, her face smoothly back to its calm, thouh she did feel a slight warmth in her face. Comments of beauty were given to her often and she never knew what to make of them. Sometimes she wished someone would call her unappealing for a change. It would make things so much easier. She tilted her head slightly, seeing grow a little sad. Ah...so he had to leave...? Well, it was probably best she be on her way was well. She nodded her head, "If our paths cross again." That was her simple reply. It was against her practice to go out of her way to see someone without a purpose. That was the sad truth of the matter. But if they bumped into each other again she'd be sure to converse once more.

"Exaggerations are nothing when what spoken is the truth," he smiled and bowed his head to her, fluttering his wings a bit, "I do hope our paths cross again, would be nice, perhaps then I can have you smile," it was a kind gesture, and statement, to see her smile would be nice. He could perhaps do something right then. He hoped she would not be annoyed by his statement at all.
With that he began to take a few steps, then jumped into te air, his wings carrying him higher, teh wings on his arms steadying himself, he looked down once more to her figure thaty stood out amongst the darkness, yes they would meet again someday.
