I don't really hate unless they are the kind of people that try to show off on light while using the bar.. I understand that some people might need the bar for balance.. but you can't exactly show off while using it at such an easy level. So to explain, I don't hate n00bs.. i just have posers.. because that is what they are..

I go to the mall every once in a while and watch other people play. I think that it is funny when people say they are good at it but they really suck.

XIII falling stars
I once saw this girl (about 12) playiong and arms up at her chest, she was standing in the middle and she got 1 step

also there was one time there were this other girl play (bout 17) and she tries a easy beginer and missed every single step and just cause she lost she gets mad and starts saying "this games is retarde" since she left with two turns left I took them and she is standing right be hind me as I finish a song and has the audasidy to say "was a freaking dumbass you actually play this game" I turn around and say "yeah, but it sucks that itdiot like you hate this game BECAUSE you suck at it"
i hope you said it in a angry voice to scare her away

i usually play at home on a RedOctane metal pad that has no bar so if i lose my balance i go back and forth and probly fail, the bar annoys me because my hand hits it too

the most pethetic i have seen is when a kid at the sk8ing rink jumped on w/ skates on. He started rolling around on the pads until they sucked. It was tuff to play Challenge on them. then about 15 mins. l8r he came back w/ his shoes on and tried again and lost on the second arrow. blaugh

Wow my "friends" are ish. They fail on beginer and complain when I get a C on paranoia survivor. (that doesn't happen that much)

n00bness, you ask?

Worst example I've seen is some of the other DDR guilds/threads here.

For example, one thread I saw was full of "hardcore DDR players". They were mostly begginners. One guy was bragging about how he passed A [Heavy] and how he almost passed Legend of Max [Standard], and everyone was all "OMG RLY?" over his 'skill'.

^ I posted that pic (my first Max 300 AA, in case it doesn't show up).

Most of them thought it was Googled. Ended up becoming a really nice flame war, til someone was smart enough to check Google for the pic, only to not find it.

I won. cool

I have an even better n00b story, but I'm gonna wait to post it. Kinda long, and I can't type today. :[

Six year old girls who just stand there and jump on the arrows.

It's just not right.

Some 11-year-old saw that I was slowing down because I played DDR for a little too long so my legs started killing me. For that reason, they said I suck, since I started to gradually lose.

Then he tried to take over but he failed in a few seconds. After he enraged how he lost and that the game sucked, but the guy was being awfully rude saying, "This game sucks, I think you broke it or something. But at least I'm not disabled while trying to play."

Sheesh... confused

Cashboy
N00bs are funny. I do try to help them out, if I can. My girlfriend is actually still on Beginner, and I try to help her out. It's nice to be with someone that shares a lot of the same interests as you, but I do feel kind of like I'm just showing off (in a bad way) when I'm AA'ing Heavy songs and she has a hard time passing Light songs... cry

... same applies to all my friends who think they can play but can't get through Forever Sunshine Beginner rolleyes

We organized kind of an anime con last month, and man, I was in charge of DDR... people looked like dizzy ducks xD

The fattest woman I've ever seen was playing DDR the other day. Standard I believe. She was wearing short shorts and a t-shirt. Her sleeves were filled with fat and it oozed out the end of the sleeves. Her fat covered up her elbows so they just looked all like a pile of mashed potatoes. She was playing Captain Jack and just jumping... like someone put on STOMP (like on ITG). She was jiggling so much... it was mesmerizing. eek

I taped my cousin playing DDR. I titled it "OMG Returning to the Middle is Soooo Cool". There were also these two guys that kept bragging about their elite DDR skills, so I challanged them. We did So Deep, because for their elite skill, that should be no problem. My AA versus his E.

I saw a newbie playing that was maybe 18, he was pretty good, so i was gonna talk to him after, but he just glared at me...scary eek

Once i saw they cute adorable twin guys playing! They were probably like 19, and they did these really hard songs, and they were in perfect unison! It was like an exact copy of the other! It was cutest thing i've ever seen! heart
