Swafi's first rp

EchoLimaFoxtrot

Nagual-An bounced up to the bush. She had been eyeing it for days on end. Today was the day! It was now or never, for if she waited much longer, the berries would be gone (eaten by birds, humans, or other Soquilis...who knew). Grumbling, Nagual inspected the bush and decided to dig in.

The first berry popped in her mouth, which the young Soquili savored and sighed contently.

Takakun

"hey watch it. that's -my- bush..."
A voice uttered, loud and sure. Soon a delicate green hoof laced with a gentle roseberry vine shook itself free of the bush and a young colt emerged, his head held up, eyes watching the filly.
Fenrir tossed his head and with a sudden movement ran at her, butting her away. He trotted back to the succulent berries and started nibbking on a few.

Remove
A grey colt found himself trotting in the most random of directions, he had no where in particular to be nor to go. He hadn't wished to meet anyone nor see anyone but his eyes did lay onto a young filly, and a fine one at that. He tossed his head sending his black mane flying before nickering a little. She was interesting, and had her head in a bush?

He shook his head again and made his way towards the femme and the bush, oh she was eating, he could see that now. He then however saw a very strange and bright male. This wasn't how it was suppose to be! His ears flicked back and laid on his head as he listened, he stayed where he was, close to the filly and the colt but far enough away that he wouldn't interrupt either of them.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual-An jumped back in surprise when Fenrir emerged from the bush. Evidentally she hadn't done so enough, for she got some hair in her mouth when the brightly colored colt butted her away. Not taking offense to the action, Nagual was more interested in the magical appearance of the other Soquili.

Looking around, to see if anyone else had seen the miracle, she spotted another dark colt in the distance. Her eyes widened even further, "Did you see that? He.. just... appeared!" Looking back at Fenrir, Nagual put it to herself to investigate.

"Now... how did you just...appear like that?" Forgetting that she was warned away fromt he berries, Nagual also snatched a few more in her circle of the yellow-green colt.

Takakun

He scowled, snapping lightly at her but she had already moved away again after taking the berries.
"What are you talking about?" His eyes narrowed at her as he also glanced to where she was looking at, but there wasnt any other.
Maybe she is a little unwell in the head he contemplated, so he decided to humour her...after all, weak soquilis wont survive long in the wild.
"Well he's gone now you see" and he turned back to his berries, lightly twitching his tail.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Looking back, she noticed that the other colt indeed was gone. Frowning slightly, Nagual looked back at Fenrir. She toyed for a little bit with the berries in her mouth, making them last as long as they could. Letting the silence hold, the filly finally swallowed. "There was someone else there, but I guess they left now..."

Cocking her head to the side, Nagual inspected the yellow and green colt. It took her awhile, but she looked from him to the bush and saw that, in her dedication to the berries, he could have blended in. The filly perked her ears happily when the realization hit her, "You blend in with that bush!!!! And here, I thought you materialized from air!"

Soquili
The princess heard some ruckus by the berry patch and came over to investigate. It was a fresh dawn day, but some fog draped over the landscape like a thick curtain. You could only see a few yards away from where you were standing.

Soquili felt lost and didn't know the way back to her teepee. She arched her back against an ancient oak and watched the horses.

Takakun

He twitched his ears in annoyance....blend in? whatever did she mean the insolent mare....
Her coat was splattered with dark patches and in an effort to try to chase her away he said," well you look like a bucket of those man made painty stuff fell on you."
Fenrir chuckled to himself, then a scent caught his attention and he turned lightly, eyes direct on a human female leaning against the tree. She looked like those strange two legged ones who always chase him around....he continued to stare, flicking his tail.

Remove
The grey colt had indeed "vanished" he had spotted some lovely grass a little way from the other two and had also seen the human watching them but he cared not for her but for that stupid colt, someone needed to teach him how to treat a lady!

The youngster who was older then both the others cantered over to them both snorting at the male, "Watch your manners, you idiot. Didn't your mother ever teach you how to treat a lady, or maybe you need a brain transplant." He spoke harshly but then that stupidly coloured colt wasn't being nice, at all.

Sirenz
A low whimper interrupted Soquili's thoughts. It was coming from the berry patch were the horses were. The sound began to get louder like whoever making it was in pain.

"I wonder what that could be...?"

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual-An snickered at Fenrir's remarks, taking no offense, once again. Turning, she tried to look at her own coat, which was probably a humorous sight, "Do you really think so? I always thought they were quite fashionable to see!" Of course, she had never actually seen a human yet.

Follow the colt's gaze, she was in for a surprise. Nagual caught sight of the Princess, and although this was her first experience with a human -she did know what a human looked like, from stories-, her attention was taken once more when the supposed 'non-existant' colt returned, and in quite a huff, too!

Smiling broadly, Nagual turned her attention to the new arrival, although kept a flicked ear towards the human by the tree. "Ahh! So you did chose to approach!" Her expression dropping just a tad, she quickly surveyed the area in confusion, "There is a lady around?"

((Added EDIT cause I posted too late, sorry))

In her surveyal, Nagual caught the sound of pain. It was all so much for her to take in, so she wasn't able to fully investigate at the moment.

Takakun

Fenrir scowled again, "who are -you-?! And whatever is a lady...you sound like one of the two leggeds! HAH, what are you a twolegged colt?"
The son of Dyami snickered. He was younger and slightly smaller but he can take on any soquili any day. The blood of a wild stallion ran through him and he flicked his tail haughtily.

Remove
Swafi trotted towards the younger colt and bite his neck rather hard before his ears pinned against his head. He was hearing alot of strange things and he wasn't sure what it was, what any of it was.

"You need to grow up or you will get in trouble, learn some manners you idiot, or die, one or the other!" He snorted at the colt and then turned to the filly and bowed her head, "It is nice to meet you and yes I came over for he was being rude to you. However you are both to young to notice apart from, I must disagree with what he said, you look lovely!" His red eyes looked the filly over smiling she was pretty, all females were pretty! He then turned his head to look at the human and nickered towards her.

edit: He turned from the filly and the colt, the sound in his ears was painful and he trotted towards the bush again, looking in it and sticking his muzzle here and there, he would kick that colt if he came and tried to remove him, something was hurt, right?

Foalen
Hearing the sound of something in pain Ayita lifted her head from her grazing and glanced over the herd of gathered soquili her expresseve eyes narrowing. Where was the sound coming from?

As she turned her head she noticed the princes and the berry bush at the same time. Making a quick decision she cautiously moved over towards the place where the sound was coming from ready to alarm the herd if nessisary.

Soquili
The whine became louder and Soquili thought that the other horses must of not heard it.

"Could it be all in my head?" she wondered to herself.

Then a small tail appeared out of the patch and the cry began to get sadder.

User Image

"Soquilis! A hurt animal is making that sound. I wonder how we can coax it to come out so we can help!"

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual-An, almost scared now, could not ignore the cries. She flicked a smile to Swafi in thanks, but overall seemed very occupied.

It was then that she saw the tail in the bush and glared at Fenrir, "What did you do!?" She thought that since it was 'his bush' as he had claimed, that fault automatically went to him.

Tiptoe-ing forward, Nagual knelt down as best she could, "Are you alright? Hello? Did you need some help?"

Foalen
The sadness in the note of the sound impelled Ayita forward and as she saw the tail she gently pushed the branches of the bush aside with a forleg to see what was in such a mornful state.

Takakun

It came as a surprise when he was bitten. No one has ever attacked him before! sura his father and siblings have tried to n** him occasionally but never as hard. For awhile a strange feeling came over him but then he realised this colt was nothing more than a filly chaser.
Anger flared briefly within him, how dare he attack a soquili of wild blood!
With such inteisyt in his eyes he lunged at the weirdly marked colt, knocking Nagual aside and he used his hooves and teeth to snap. He managed to n** the dark ear and nipped it neatly before letting go. "You're nothing more than a twolegged pansy, leave me and my bush alone!" he snarled.

(edited)

In this moment he did not realise that others had gathered and in fact surrounded his bush from which a tail came sticking out from. He blinked his surprise for it seemed a tiny animal was whimpering. The wildness disappeared and in him the gentleness of his mother came as he trotted back and nosed around, sniffing curiously at the tail, "Are you alright little one?" he whispered.

Remove
Swafi kicked at the colt, "Will you stop it, you have hurt something if this is indeed your bush!" He snapped and turned to the mare that wasn't too far off, he nodded his head saying hello and put his head back into the bush where he saw the little creature. He slowly and carefully nuzzled it with his muzzle, "Hey its ok, climb up me and we will get ya out ok!" He spoke softly and tried to move the bush abit to make sure the small animal wasn't tied up in any way.

Soquili

Suddenly..some sad eyes appeared out of the bushes..

User Image
The lil animal was still afraid to come out..

Takakun

he narrowed his eyes at Swafi, thinking that this was a very turburlent colt who did not know the respect of others, after all didnt he approach them first.
A thousand replies came into his mind but with a sigh he pushed it down and muttered strongly, " if you weren't such a stickler to anything you'll see i was trying to help!"
He huffed and started picking apart the leaves and brambles with his teeth.

A pair of eyes appeared and similar green eyes stared back calmly. it looked like it didn't want to come out so Fenrir smiled, rare for him, but then he liked the other animals of the woods. Coaxing slightly, he nipped at some berries and laid it before the animal, hoping it'll be tempted to come towards the outside.

Infinite Duck

Kawenu sat close to gathering forces to rescue the small animal. It was hard to see past all the Soquili and owners to what the problem was. She heard someone shout about a hurt animal. Holding her Soquili basket close she frowned. She'd love to run out and help, but leaving the delicate foal alone with this much foot action would be foolish. Instead she laid the basket before her and laided down to try and peek between all the legs and feet to under the bush. Perhaps she'd get a good look at the poor creature. Maybe just her heart-felt sorrow would reach out and calm the poor creature allowing the others to tend to it's aid.

Foalen
Hearing the commotion Foalen came to see where Ayita was and found her stairing at the berry bush. Seeing the eyes he knelt down an made soothing sounds towards the little creature. Digging in his ever present pouch for a treat that might attrat the little one. He didn't come too close though so as not to frighten the creature.

Remove
Swafi watched as the eyes appeared, he stepped back and looked at the filly then back at the little one. He lowered his head to the same height as the eyes and smiled, "Hey, do you need any help? We can try and get you our or something..." He smiled again ignoring the aggnorant colt. The filly had coaxed the little one so far. "Its ok we won't hurt you, we are not that harsh really we aren't. There was just a little problem, you are safe, we won't hurt you!" He spoke really softly and calmly he didn't want to scare the little creature.

Soquili

The lil animal sniffed and...

..popped his head out. His mouth watered at the tasty treat..

Kaliska had gone wandering for Swafi, where that colt had got to she didn't know but she spotted him and some others. She ran over quickly and then saw the little head, oh it was so cute! The girl couldn't speak, well she could but not very well so she resided herself to be mute.

She put one arm around Swafi and then sat next to Foalen, smiling at him. She then put her hand out to the little one slowly, keeping her hand on the ground and her eyes looking at the creature but not staring so not to threaten the creature. She made a small noise with her tounge and smiled at the little creature.

Soquili

The kind words kinda made the animal feel better but still he was a tad bit afraid...as he was hurt badly.

Takakun

Fenrir sees a small foxy head popped out and tilted his own head. Seeing as it reponded to the tidbit held in the twolegged hands, he gently moved aside and nudged at the man to make him go nearer so the fox can smell the scent .
He wondered if it was hurt or merely lost.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual-An looked around. She was really worried: what was it that prevented the creature from coming out? If it was a broken leg or rib, she didn't want to make it worse...if the creature was simply scared, well...maybe charm would work... which meant Fenrir was out of the question.

Putting on a bright smile, the filly looked at the sad eyes. "Oh don't worry about the brightly colored one! I think he was just born like that, may be poor living conditions, who knows."

After a moment, Nagual chewed her lip and back away slightly. She folded her legs and plopped tot he ground and dropped her head, trying to appear as un-frightening as possible. Suddenly, the situation made her giggle, with so many trying to get into the bush. Almost forgetting the problem, Nagual looked around, "We all look kind funny, you know, all attacking the little bush!"

Creeping forward slightly, she avoided hooves in her path and stuck her head in the bush and pear in, her head resting on the ground. She could see the others trying to get in, but her attention was on the creature, trying to asses any damage that might have occured.

Foalen
Foalen carefuly reached forward far enough to place the treat in front of the bush without getting too close to the bush itself. As soon as the little bit of dried meat was in place he scooted back out of the way to watch what would happen.

Soquili
The big crowd gathering around alarmed the lil creature...
User Image
and he tucked his head back into the bush and shivered...

Kaliska and Swafi seemed to sigh in time with each other. The girl stood up and not caring if she knew everyone or not started to push Swafi, the other colt and the filly away. She couldn't speak and nor would she so Swafi knowing her well enough by now translated.

"She wants us to all keep back, we scare it!" He nickered and kept back he didn't expect the others to but either way he did, he wanted to keep out the way. He watched the girl slowly walk back to the bush and sit down, she started singing softly in her native language. She didn't expect the creature to come out but she would sing in hope of soothing it.

Foalen
Making soothing sounds the shaman backed away a little more while motioning for Ayita to back away as well hoping his treat and soft sounds would lure the little one back out.

Soquili
Then he didn't hear much noise anymore so stepped out...
User Image
..there was a cut on his leg..probably from a bear trap that a poacher set up.

"Oh no! That cut looks serious.. I wonder if anyone can find some medicine but I'm not a shaman so I have no idea.." said Soquili.

Infinite Duck

Kawenu watched the poor creature dive deeper into the bush. Frowning more she decided there was no point in trying to stare at it. She was just making things worse. Standing, with the soft clinking of beads as the hung from long leather straps from her skirt of beads. Lifting the basket carefully she departed to about 50 steps away. She then placed her basket back down and sat beside it to watch. She would have difficulty watching it from this point on, but it would be better if she didn't get in the way.

Takakun

Fenrir felt rather poorly, amidst all this gathering he seem to have been misunderstood and wondered if the fox felt just as scared as he does now, among the large soquilis and many two leggeds.
He thought for a moment, then calmly made his way around the bush and saw a little opening from where he had previously been grazing at. Sticking his small muzzle closer he whickered and whispered, "They may be large and different but I think they just want to help. Don't be scared...are you stuck? Are the brambles hurting you?"
He gamely started pulling apart the small bush, but slowly, so that the fox may have an opening. Then maybe the others can see whats wrong too.

Remove
The girl looked to Foalen, he looked like he would have an idea but she tried to coax the fox towards her, still softly singing. She just wanted to keep the creature calm, that was all.

Swafi trotted over to the mare, Ayita, "What can we do to help, your human seems to know what he is doing!" Everyone wanted to help the poor thing right?

Foalen
Foalen was already digging in his pouch once more to try and find the right herbs. Finding a small clay pot contanining a salve and a neatly rolled hide bandage the shaman knelt down on the ground and slowly came towards the fox trying not to frighten it. "I mean you no harm little one. I only want to help you." He knew his words wouldn't make sense to the fox but perhaps the spirit in wich he spoke would reach the creature.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual-An crept further and further back. When the creature came out, and she saw the cut, the filly immediately frowned. "I dunno about specific medicines... but moss will definately soak up the blood and prevent at least further infection. Maybe one of the humans has something to wrap it with.... or, we can use the moss idea and I can sneak off one of my bands..."

Trotting away, the filly returned with some moss in her mouth. Keeping her distance, she waited for a verdict... that, and she wish she had opposable thumbs at the moment.

Harperking
Wambli trotted along, curious to see where everyone was today. Seeing the gathered crowd she slowed and walked over to find out what could be so interesting in a berry bush!
As she got closer, the black and gold mare caught bits of the conversation, and heard the little whimpers of fear and pain. She wished that Jewel were there, for she remembered him telling her that his horn could heal.
When the wounded one came out of the bush she was just as surprised as the others, and just as angry to see the nasty cut! AT the Princess' words asking for a shaman though, Wambli knew just who was needed. With a little whinny, she walked over to Foalen and gave him a little nudge with her nose.

The fox wagged his tail and blinked at the strange critter with two legs. He had never seen anything weirder and felt no need to be afraid though. If it wanted to kill him..would of done so already... The singing kinda lightened his heart and his paws marched to the beat.

The pain in his leg suddenly made him howl and laid down.

Takakun

the fox has finally made his way out, and there was blood around its foot.
Fenrir had no idea what a shaman is but he supposed those two leggeds would know what to do. The ones around his parents would often wrap strange things around them if they got hurt so he made his way around them and stood beside Nagual, "do you think it'll be alright?" he whispered, staring at the others.

She moved over to him softly and storked his head with her hand though she barely touched him, she just wanted to sooth the youngster. She then turned to Foalen and with her eyes pleaded with him to help the foz as she stroked it.

Kawenu almost cheered, but she instead just smiled. She began to re-tell the helpless Soquili in the basket how the critter was helped and healed. However she still remained far off to watch. Too many people would just frighten it more.

Foalen
Foalen smiled as he was nudged. "I'm working on it friends. But this little one might not trust man and I want to be careful not to frighten him too badly."

That said he moved forward and gently took the foxes leg in hand swathing it with ointment and the bandage.

The fox purred as he was pet and no longer felt very threatened..stil his cut hurt and he began to lick at it.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual-An watched the humans at work (what her luck! Three... four humans in one day?). She looked at them a little wishfully, wanting those thumbs to help the creature, but feeling very inadequate. Looking over to the other soquili that seemed to be fond of the humans, Nagual smiled, "I'm glad they can help him!" Giggling lightly, she settled to watch.

Foalen
When he was finished with the bandage he swiftly reached into his pouch for another bit of dried meat to reward his little paitent.

The fox liked her so she continued to stroke him and just keep him calm with singing as the shaman did his work, she sang and sang. It seemed to be keeping the young fox calm. Oh please let him get better!

Takakun

The strange scent made the fox more distressed. Still having some berries in his mouth, he rolled them towards the fox one by one. Maybe if it has the scent of the berries it'll let the two legged fix the cut in its foot.
Fenrir then turned his head to the side, he didn't what more he can do, so he waited.

The fox felt so much better! His leg didn't hurt so bad ..but he felt sad. Last night he wandered into a bear trap and then finally got free because it was meant for the big legs of a bear..not tiny ones of a fox. He never had so many care about him until now and wondered what made him so special to get so much love?

EchoLimaFoxtrot
The moss, totally uneeded, went totally to waste. Witha shrug, Nagual went to the task of eating it. Even though it was incredibly bitter, she choked it down and licked her lips when done. Nodding to the rythm of the song, the filly watched the shaman at work.

Foalen
Watching the fox being petted he smiled as he looked the bandage over. It was well wrapped and would hold but the little one would need to be looked after for a while until that cut healed.

Remove
The girl slowly and carefully reached down and kissed his forehead, Swafi trotted over slowly and nuzzled its head, the girl then spoke. "Its ok youngster, we will look after you." She could speak if she wished to, but it had taken along time to work out how to speak the words to the young fox.

Takakun

With his foot all patched up, fenrir smiled at the little creature. Every animal should be able to live their lives as was dictated by nature's orders of things. He wasnt sure how the fox got hurt so badly because there arent large predators around but he was glad the two leggeds were able to help. Atleast they are goof for something, he thought to himself. leaning forward until he sttled down on his hooves, he lightly watched the fox being petted and cuddled.

Foalen
"What's wrong," Ayita asked coming closer to the little fox wondering why he seemed confused and a bit unsettled.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual chewed her lip but smiled when the girl spoke. She was wondering how the creature got such a cut...surely a bush wouldn't have created it, would it?

Taking a chance, Nagual cleared her throat, "Does anyone know how the little guy that cut? Might there be any others who may have been affected by whatever it was the made it?" She looked around, not sure if anyone could hear her.

The filly was relieved that the fox was going to be alright. A good thing there were humans around... soquilis doing such bandaging might have been disasterous.

Swafi looked up, "It looked like some sort of trap or something, Kaliska here has shown me them before, dangerous things, meant for creatures that kill us." He smiled at the filly and then looked back to the fox, nuzzling Kaliskas shoulder before turning back to the fox.

Foalen
"What is your name? My name is Ayita." The painted mare told the fox coming a little bit closer yet, but slowly so as not to crowd him. "How did you get hurt?"

The fox felt sooo happy and wanted to be owned by the person who put on his bandage..it still hoped the girl would come and sing to him still..

Wambli smiled to herself. She knew that the shaman could fix the young one! Now to make him feel better about being here amobg all the strangeness! She let out a reassuring nicker, low in her throat.
"It's ok, Fox-brother" she said, rustling her wings a little as she spoke. "No one here means you harm. The two-leggeds will care for you if you wish, or let you run back free if you choose"

EchoLimaFoxtrot

Nagual looked at Swafi down to the fox, "But surely, that little thing cannot kill us, can it?"

Remove
The girl backed off a little and smiled. She turned to Swafi and then to Foalen, nodding her head she turned and tried to lead Swafi away. Her eyes telling him they had done all that was needed. She bowed to the other people that were there and after a little bit of fighting lead Swafi away, they couldn't stay now, the reason she had found Swafi was to pick up more of those traps, he carried the ones they found on his back.

Foalen
Ayita nodded agreeing with Wambli, Foalen will look after you if you would like to live with us. Though you are free to leave any time you wish as well. Still I hope you'll stay until your leg is healed.

Takakun

The others were leaving....what an interesting day...no doubt the little fox will be housed with the tall two legged until it is better. Fenrir wrinkled his nose and whickered good health and goodbye to the little one.

EchoLimaFoxtrot

Nagual looked around. She saw that the fox was going with the Shaman and the painted mare. Still kind of worried, she looked around, wondering what the others were going to do.

Turning to Swafi, she looked at him and the girl, "Are you two leaving?"

Nagual giggled whens he saw Fenrir wrinkle his nose. Was it possible he wasn't all that rough around the edges and had a soft spot?

Remove
Swafi turned and nodded, "Unfortunatly, my girl works constantly and I think that is what she needs me for. The shaman was lucky to be around that was for sure. The princess asked for a shaman and amazingly one arrived!" He smiled and then nipped the human with pleading looks. She smiled and kissed his forehead and nodded. She then turned to walk off but Swafi turned back to the filly, "Looks like I can stay!"

Takakun

he glanced at the filly as she laughed and decided to make her laugh more so he twitched his ears and wrinkled his nose more. He was tired and anyway it seems he had ravaged his bush to help the little one. There should be another berry patch around the bend and he began thinking of the sweet juicy plump ones.

EchoLimaFoxtrot

Smiling happily, Nagual nodded her head, "Well, then, I am glad you will stay! I wonder who else will..." Tiptoeing back to the bush, Nagual stole some more berries. What could she say? They were good berries and perfrect for eating...

Remove
He looked around, "Most came because of the fox, I guess most will leave now like my human. She will get Mahiri to do my work! How cool is that!" He chuckled and turned to the other colt, oh did he really have to stay?

EchoLimaFoxtrot

Nagual grinned at Fenrir again, berries -which of course were taken from the ravaged bush, but still juicy sweet- staining her teeth.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual-An looked at the two colts once again. She grinned... the original three were here, around the berry bush and in desperate need for a new one...one not so ravaged by soquili and human a like. One last attempt to swipe any fallen good berries, and Nagual lifted her head, some leaves stuck in her mane, "Search for more berries?"

Takakun

He grinned at the filly, she seemed to be of no harm, a rather silly little thingy, she has her own charm he supposed. But that -other- one, he snarled inwardly. First he intrudes near my bush now he's giving me these looks. These two legged soquilis have no respect for the old law. He glimmered happily at his fathers tales of being in the wild, where each soquili can hold their own and share when times need to, and they never would attack a soquili like that one did. He wrinkled his nose again and got up, testily shaking one foot. The roselet shone a deep red around his ankle, and he turned away. As he passed the filly, he whickered quietly, "perhaps another day berry filly..." and trotted off to find his brother and sister.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual-An was sad to see anyone leave, but she assumed something else was calling him. With a nod, she watched Fenrir leave, "Another day, then!"

Remove
Swafi watched the other leave, were they all leaving? He turned to the filly and laughed, "May I ask your name, I have been so rude, I am Swafi!" He chuckled, how could they have forgotten to ask each other their names? "I would love to go looking for berrys with you."

EchoLimaFoxtrot
"I am Nagual-An. It is nice to meet you, Swafi!" She stretched each leg out and then her neck. "After all that excitement, I think berries would be a great treat...especially after the moss I just had..." Taking off at a slow pace, Nagual went in just a random direction.

Remove
Swafi smiled and said her name, "Nagual-An, nice name!" He chuckled and trotted after her, "So anywhere we going in particular? Have you any idea?" He was kind of curious as to if she knew more about the place then he did as he rarely left his human.

EchoLimaFoxtrot

"Thank you, I think Swafi is a nice name as well..." Nagual looked around then back at Swafi with a twinkle in her eye. "I have no idea where I am going, I just....go....!" Grinning happily, she quickened her pace a little to a slow prance.

Swafi chuckled, his ruby eyes looking at the fillys body in front of her. He caught up with her quick enough and soon enough he was by her side, his mane fluttering behind him as the wind blew softly around the two youngsters. At last, time to have some fun and get to another well!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual-An, not aware of the colt's eyes on her body (not even really aware OF her body), pranced joyfully along the path.

It seemed as if out of nowhere, the filly stopped dead in her tracks and dropped her head to the ground. She giggled and nickered (probably a strange sound) at the view before her. A snail, with a baby on its back, and another trailing behind, was crossing the path.

"What a perilous decision, don't you think?" Nagual looked up at Swafi, although she kept her head low.

Remove
Swafi chuckled and nodded, "Yeah I think thats probably right." He looked down at the snail and found it rather sweet that she had stopped for it as he wouldn't have even noticed the small creature.

His ruby eyes looked at the filly again and nickered slightly, "I hope you have some idea where you are heading, there could be problems otherwise! We might accedently trample some poor unsuspecting snails!" He chuckled at her playfully and flicked his tail behind him. He would wait for her to move once the snail had crossed, after all, ladies first!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Patiently, the filly waited. Finally, the snails crossed and Nagual-An lifted her head. "Nah... I can spot the snails.... and I am surprised these ones were out, ya know?"

With a flick of her tail, Nagual pranced further down the trail. "Of course I don't know where I am going! Come now, Swafi! Where's your sense of adventure?" She looked back and stuck her tongue out at the colt.

Remove
He chuckled and snorted playfully, "Honestly, these girls!" He chuckled and cantered to catch her up again. "So you go on adventures often then miss?" He asked all polietly, oh he was a funny colt that was for certain!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual snorted, turned her head, and stuck out her tongue, "I heard that, SIR!" She waited a few more strides before answering the question, in which case the filly unsucessfully shrugged. "I guess every day. I generally just live all over, not tied down. Free to do as I will..."

Remove
He chuckled, "Do you have a human bonded to you? My girl is Kaliska, though we live with her brother and Mahiri, a fox mare she has a funny mate called erm.. Hania!" He chuckled and looked at Nagual, "Do you have anyone like that?" He tilted his head slightly and nickered happily.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual shook her head, short mane flopping, "I have no human bonded or anything like that. I just sleep under the stars and go where I please.... eat what I want." She sighed happily, "Ahh, it's the life!"

"Hania, eh? He is a character....." the filly giggled.

Remove
Swafi tilted his head and looked at her, "you know him?" He was curious at this point as he had never met the stallion that his friend was mated to, that and he saw Mahiri as more of a mother then anything else as she had been there for him when he was born and so on, well not born but emerged from the basket!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nodding, the filly chuckled, "Yeah, I know him. I've met him a couple times. I have never met Mahiri, though. From what I can tell, though, he loves her very much!"

Remove
Swafi chuckled, "Ah its true, they love each other alot though I haven't met him I only hear amazing things from Mahiri. Strange couple really..." He nickered and tossed his head a little before looking back at her, "So... where we going?" He wasn't too sure on the whole trot till you find something, he wanted to know where he was going.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
The filly was about to answer Swafi when something caught her eye. It was exactly what they were looking for! Nagual squeaked happily, "Swafi! Over here!" Happily, she bounced over to the berry bush.

Delicately, Nagual lipped at some of the berries, savoring their taste. "Mmm... I've been waiting all DAY for this! Come have some, they are perfect!"

Remove
Swafi chuckled, so she was after something! He trotrted over and let one of the berrys enter his mouth, definatly nice tasting that was for sure. He looked over the filly next to him, she was pretty cool! "So you like your berrys then?" He had to start some sort of conversation or she would get bored of him!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual chuckled while she ate her berries, truly a difficult task. It hadn't taken her long before she had entirely stuffed her mouth with berries. When she tried to talk, it came out more like a mumble, and juice spread further around her lips. "Oh yes! I love berries! You see, they are so much sweeter than grass, clover, even corn.... and definitely more so than moss and bark. My days are usually pretty simple, I search for berries for however long I can. It is an adventure every day, per say. When I search for berries, I also meet so many others. So, it is routine to search for them now."

The filly grinned further, and a few drops of berry juice dripped to the ground. Finishing that mouthful, Nagual did her best to clean up her lips, licking this way and that. Her actions made it worse though, just spreading the bright red more than getting rid of it. She dug her head in again to fill her mouth and start again.

Remove
Swafi laughed and started nibbling on the berrys as well as he listened to Nagual speak. "I dont meet many others, just Mahiri and her mate mainly." He continued to nibble but was very careful as he ate, he didn't want to get any berry juice all over him, he was a proud boy really, liked being clean!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
The filly was definitely too enchanted with her berries to worry about her looks. She knew she was probably a mess, but she didn't mind. All the excitement from the day! They both deserved a treat.

After finishing with her goring meal, Nagual stepped back. She didn't burp, but she also didn't need to. Leaning over, she plucked at some grass until most of the berry juice was off her lips. When she was dont, Nagual stood as tall as she could for Swafi to inspect her, "How do I look? Did I get it all?"

Remove
"You look beautiful!" He chuckled and tilted his head, "So what do you do once you found that berries aren't satisfying enough?" He smiled having a feeling that berries were satisfied and then realised he had said that totally wrong, "Woops.. er.. I meant what do you do once you eaten the berries..." He flushed a little but it soon went, he didn't need to be embaressed around her!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual was about to ask how berries weren't satisfying enough when Swafi corrected himself. She giggled. "Well, as you have guess, the berries were very satisifying. Usually, I sleep some of it off, but that would be rude....." The filly looked aorund then lunged at the colt.

After a short nudge, she ran off and jumped a fallen log, "You're it!"

Remove
He looked a little embarressed but when the filly nudged him he felt a little better. "Hey!" He chuckled and rushed after her, his mane and tail flying out behind him, he would get her, he would!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual ran hard. She was used to running. Even though she, at times, displayed her clumsy side, the little filly wasn't always so! She turned with a bend in the trees and continued further down the trail. Turning once, she saw that the gray colt was catching up! Shocked, she ran faster. Breaking out into a small clearing, Nagual picked up speed a little, no worried about fallen logs to slow or trip her.

Remove
Swafi chuckled as they entered the clearing, he was better at running in the forests, she seemed better in clearings. This would be interesting. With all the strength he had in his small body he pushed forward, pushing his legs to move faster and he didi. He managed to catch up with her and nudge her before turning and running down towards the stream and back towards the forest. He wanted the advantage!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
The little nudge was just enough to set her off. Nagual tripped over her hooves and fell, rolling a few times before finally stopping. She layed there, shocked. After the adrenaline stopped coursing through her veins, the filly stood on shaky fet. Nagual shook herself a little bit to get the dirt and grass off of her.

Other than her current inability to stay balanced, the filly was otherwise unharmed. Seeing Swafi so far ahead, and not having the strength to chase after, Nagual whinnied in hopes to get his attention.

Remove
He slowed and turned around just as she whined, a chuckle escaped him as he rushed back to her. "You ok there?"

As he reached her he tilted his head slightly and chuckled. He didn't mean to laugh at her but he always seemed to at the most annoying moments.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
She walked a few steps, slowly and deliberately. Nagual didn't want to fall again, at least not for awhile. One tumble a day is good enough for her, thank you. The filly nodded, her floppy mane sprouting from the motion. "I think I'll be okay..."

The filly stuck her tongue out at the laughing colt, "Yeah, mister, you go ahead and laugh! It must have been funny to see... but all I saw was grass... and dirt..." Secretly, Nagual was laughing too, she just regretted that she didn't have a very good view of the fall.

Remove
He smiled and went over and nudged her, "It may have been amusing, but I dont want to laugh!" He nickered and nibbled on the grass, it wasn't the nicest tasting grass but it would do for now.

EchoLimaFoxtrot
At the nudge, Nagual feigned almost falling again. She shook her head. "Males... they just can't get enough," the filly teased.

When Swafi went to eat, she knelt and then plopped her stuffed body on the ground and splayed out, "I don't think I can eat another bite!"

Remove
He chuckled, "Those females, have such small stomachs!" He smiled and continued to eat the lush grass. It wasn't like it took up alot of space in his stomach though was it!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual stuck her tongue out at Swafi from her earthen position, "Well, yeah! We have to keep out girlish figures."

Looking around her, which was fairly difficult to do, the filly finally unearthed a chunk of dirt and grass. With a flick of her 'wrist' the chunk went flying at the colt.

Remove
Swafi snorted as the grass and mud flew at him, "Honestly, a ladies temper ought to be controlled!" He chuckled and rushed after her, "You are going to pay for that!" He laughed, he wasn't going to be beaten by a girl!

EchoLimaFoxtrot
Nagual laughed. She had kept an eye on the sun, and it was time for her to go. "Worry about a lady's temper. It is something not to be trifled with." The filly stuck out her tongue.

She almost seemed to entirely deflate when she sighed, "Can I pay later? It's time I better get going..." Nagual smiled a little, "But you take care of yourself!" With one last playful nudge, the filly turned and ran towards the mountains.

"See you around, Safi!" she called over her shoulder as she looked back.

Remove
Swafi chuckled and watched the Filly leave, he then slowly turned back and headed home. He wanted something really tasty to eat!

Soquili
Princess Soquili was out picking indian paintbrushes to weave a necklace for a soquili. The sun shone brightly down on her back, illuminating her copper skin. It was such a gorgeous day.

Soquili
Mesarthim spotted Soquili as she was plucking at some dewy grass. The princess was picking those disgusting flowers..but why? Mes ate one before on accident and it was the worst she ever had.

Soquili
After she had gathered a bunch, Soquili sat down under a willow tree to weave the necklace. It provided her some much needed shade from the heat.

"I wonder which soquili would look the prettiest wearing this necklace..." she wondered to herself. It was hard to decide because all the horses were a spectacular sight. She thanked the spirits everyday for them.

Sayuri_Nitta
Dory clipped over to the human, ears flickering a little and nostrils drawing in air. She tilted her head, she didnt think that was the human she knew, but as ever, Dory couldnt quite remember. She walked right over and whickered at the human.

(( *hopes she can bring Dory in* XD ))

Soquili
(( yeah anyone can play))

Hearing some hoofsteps behind her, Soquili realized she was no longer alone. She looked up from her weavings and saw this blue/yellow mare.

"Osiyo, pretty one" Soquili cooed.

She noticed another lovely horse that looked just like a bird. o_O

Sayuri_Nitta
Dory arched her neck, reaching out to lip the Princesses hair. She flicked her tail in greeting. She didnt remember the other human's hair being like this, so it obviously wasnt her. Dory looked over as another approached.
'Hello.'

Ice_Dragon_Demon
Vevina wanders over to princess soquili and nickers a hello.

Heather Eripmav
The young mare trotted over to the human, she was a little cautious looking like both her parents she was happy to see some other soquili. She had met a couple but not many. Artemis was rather friendly, though a little shy.

She nickered quietly to herself as she trotted over to the others, curious to what was going on.

SummerRaven
Seeing other Soquili's wander over to the human princess, Bairn decided to join them. Slowly making his way over to the crowd, he bowed his head politely to the human, as if to say hello.

Xaki
Anubis whinnied to the other soquili knickering back a "Hello!". He circled Princess Soquili bringing his head over her shoulder to look at what she was holding before diverting his attention to several other soquili? o_o;;

Heather Eripmav
Artemis turned to her brother and smiled. She turned her attention back to the human though, there were too many soquili here to greet them all. She looked over at the blue like soquili and trotted closer to him, giving him a light n** on the shoulder, showing who she was. "Hello there!" She hoped he wouldn't mind the n**, she wanted to get his attention though!

Sayuri_Nitta
Dory blinked, her tail swishing with nerves as a sudden stream of horses appeared around the human. Nervous mostly because she knew she wouldnt be able to remember all the names if she heard them, and she was more likely to make a fool of herself in front of this crowd.

Xaki

Ehhh? He thought to himself backing up. "Er. Hello? Do I know you?" He asked a bit walking insticntively closer to Princess Soquili. His blue and Dory's blue seemed to stand out amongst all the other soquilis.

Meeki
Death trotted over, curious at what was drawing such a large crowd of Soquili. It was such a lovely spring day, she noted. She smiled as the scent of flowers tickled her nostrils. She couldn't help but feel so plain next to all the colorful creatures.

SummerRaven
Bairn noticed his sister as one of the Soquili's to approach the human, and he nodded a hello to her as well. Looking around at all the rest of them, the stallion put all of his attention on the human, curious to know who she was and what she was holding. Grinning softly, he walked up behind her and took a piece of hair in his mouth and chewed on it.

Heather Eripmav
She looked him over and shook her head, "I don't think so. I just wanted to say hello to someone, there are too many to greet everyone and as you were one of the first here I decided to come and say hello, if thats ok?" She didn't normally talk out so much, but she felt like chatting at the moment. Maybe to overcome her shyness in front of her brother!

Sayuri_Nitta
Dory looked sidelong at the handsomely coloured blue stallion. She chuckled at his reaction to the nipping.
'I don't know you do I?' she asked curiously. She didnt think she had met Anubis before..but well - she never could remember.

Xaki

She was chatty? Anubis thought to himself. "Well, then Hello?" He said a bit bewildered. "If you want to talk, its okay." Looking to the other blue soquili, he looked at her curiously. "You dont know me." He laughed at bit at Dory's blunt response.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Oh good..' she said brightly, then stumbled out.
'Oh I don't mean I don't want to know you. It's just I was terribly afraid I'd met you before and that I'd forgotten it.' Dory grinned nervously.
'I have a very bad memory.'

Heather Eripmav
Artemis let out a small chuckle and turned to the blue mare and bowed her head a little. "I am Artemis!" She announced to both the blue horses. She had no worry in anothers colour, they were all the same creatures and in a way she felt priviliged to be around such bright horses, so beautiful to!

There was only one problem with Artemis, that was her wandering. She had been put under the supervision of Swafi while her human was on a hunting trip or something. He was slightly annoyed to find that she had wandered off again! However as he saw the group of others, he saw another he lived with, the only other stallion! This looked like an interesting gathering and the hawk on his back seemed to agree.

Soquili
(( back ))

Soquili laughed that her flower chain was drawing so much attention by curious horses. She coulda swore they were cats! rofl

She wished she could make one for everyone but just this one would have to do for now. A crack of thunder interrupted Soquilis thoughts and it signified that the beautiful day would soon turn to a storm.

Some sprinkles of rain filtered through the willow and onto her head. It probably wasn't safe to stay under a tree in a forming storm. She had seen what those bright sky lights could do.

SummerRaven
The stallion sat there watching his sister interact with another male Soquili and it surprised him. She wasn't normally the talking type. Bairn blinked when a brown mare came up the human he was standing behind and bowed his head politely at her.

Xaki

"Its all right." he grinned. "Must be temporary amenisa or something?" he wondered before bowing to Dory and Artemis. He noticed Princess soquili was back and nudged her with his nose.

Meeki

Death smiled as her gaze went over the other Soquilis. It was a serene smile, very tranquil and peaceful. She closed her eyes briefly as a gush of air blew through her hair. She seemed so in tune to things around her, noting a bumblebee that was buzzing from flower to flower and a hummingbird that was darting about as well. It was a lovely spring day, so full of life and wonder. She loved days like this.

Of course, Death paid no mind to the rain that started pelting het. Rain helped the circle of life continue. Helped there be water to drink, helped things to grow. It was wonderful how everything in nature seemed to work together.

SummerRaven
When the rain fell, the light brown stallion titled his head and looked up into the sky. Bairn didn't like the sound of the thunder that came along with the rain, and he looked around frantically for his sister, making sure Artemis was safe. Noticing that the human didn't like the storm either, he decided to stay near her, in case she needed protecting.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Oh no,' Dory shook her head as the first drops of rain fell from the sky. Her back twitched as the rain gently tickled the nerves there.
'My memory is pretty much always bad.' she looked at the mare who had greeted her.
'Hi..I'm Dory.' she said, pretty sure that was her name!

Soquili
The rain licked at Soquili's tight weavings and made the flower stems softer. To her horror, the chain came apart. Soquili began to feel sad but the cute soquilis around her brightened up her spirits.

"Yes, us twoleggers hate the rain.. I gotta get back to my teepee where it's nice and warm."
4laugh

Heather Eripmav
As the drops started coming down from the sky, Swafi headed to Artemis, not caring much about the others really, he didn't even notice Dory. He got hold of her tail and pulled. The hawk who he always seemed to be with recently pulled at her mane making her move away from the others, that way if anything bad happened they would have to run. However Swafi found this task impossible and edned up leaving Artemis where she was. He loved the rain, his hawk friend didn't.

Artemis smiled, "Nice to meet you Dory!" She then reared up as she was pulled and kicked Swafi's nose. It served him right. Turning to her brother she trotted over to him and the princess, lowering her back incase the princess wanted to get on.

Meeki
Death closed her eyes and lifted her head to the sky. She loved the coldness of the rainwater and how it felt on her body. It was so refreshing. She didn't seem bothered by any thunder or lightning that occasionally greeted the gathering group. In fact, she felt like running around and playing in the rain.

Sayuri_Nitta
Dory blinked at the stallion who has approached Artemis and yanked on her tail. It was Swafi! But he hadnt greeted her in any way and her nose wrinkled unhappily. She looked at the human, sniffing at the chain which had crumpled in the wet.
'But the rain is nice.' commented Dory to the human. She didnt know if she could understand, but she herself didnt get why human's disliked the rain. It was refreshing...and it was necessary for life.

SummerRaven
Bairn watched as the thing the human was holding came undone, and frowned...it seemed very pretty. He turned to his sister as she approached him and the human. "Hello Artemis, my dear." He said to her softly, turning back his attention to the human who obviously wanted to get out of the rain. Artemis had offered the princess her back, and Bairn waited to see what would happen.

Soquili

"How kind of you, Artemis. I would love a ride" Soquili smiled..and prepared to hop on if the horse steadied.

Soquili

Soquili could understand what Dory was neighing. "I don't know..just I spent hours this morning braiding my hair and now it's ruined. I never liked the rain very much. I have skin instead of fur and it just feels icky!"

Heather Eripmav
Artemis steadied herself as the princess had asked and let out a small nicker to her brother. Swafi would pay for the pain he had caused her later, he was so overprotective it was so silly!

Swafi just paced forward and back as he watched artemis, silly mare! He snorted a little and turned his attention to Dory, "Damn, I should have said something..." He sighed, damn he felt stupid.

The bird just pecked his back and took flight, at least she had some sense! Kepping her flight low she landed on Dory's back gently, not letting her talons pierce her skin. "Hello there Dory."

Sayuri_Nitta
'But if it wasnt for the rain you'd never have the flowers to make yourself pretty,' Dory nickered softly.
'And we all would go hungry. But I dont know what 'icky' feels like..' she blew air through her nostrils thoughtfully, then visibly jumped as something landed on her back.
'What's that?' she twisted, trying to see the bird.

Soquili
Soquili climbed on Artemis. The mare's slender back made it easy to sit on. She pressed her legs against the horses sides snugly and tugged some of her mane. Soquili didn't want to hurt Art, so she got the piece at the bottom that was made of courser hair.

SummerRaven
Bairn watched as the human climbed onto his sisters back and smiled softly. The only human that ever had ridden his back was Lalit, his bonded and the stallion wondered what it was like to have this human ride him. "Watch yourself." He warned Artemis, getting protective over his younger sister again.

Heather Eripmav
Artemis looked at Barin, "Come?" She tilted her head slightly and nipped at her brother before turning her head to the princess. "Lightly kick my side, to tell me which way to go, I might get lsot!" She smiled gently at the princess, waiting for something before going, after all she had been talking to Dory!

"The name is Korho." She flew infront of Dory and looked up at her. "I decided to follow and annoy Swafi. Found out quite a bit about him, he likes you alot and is now standing over there looking like an idiot because he thinks he has upset you and you hate him." She did like to talk some what, and loved to tell all Swafi's secrets, something she was good at, along with fishing.

Sayuri_Nitta
(( Phoo you dont need to send me monies Remove ^_^
Thank you for the thought though 4laugh ))

'Korho?' Dory echoed, looking at the hovering bird. It must be familiar to Swafi, as Squishy was to her. At her words, she looked over at Swafi.
'He really likes me? I had thought...maybe he'd just caught my bad memory or something.' she kicked the ground, bashful.

Heather Eripmav
((nah, you can have it, gets ya a little closer ^_^))

She chuckled a little, "Ah come off it, he is well.. male, so he thinks that he can't go near a female, he stupid you see! He hasn't got the guts to tell you how he really feels!" She looked over at Swafi who was watching curiously, she was out of earshot, which was good for her. She would need to keep airbound for a while once he found out what she had been saying. "He adores you alot!"

SummerRaven
"Yeah I'm coming." Bairn told Artemis, getting ready to follow his sister wherever the human wanted them to go. Jumping back at the n**, he rolled his eyes and smiled. The stallion didn't understand why soquili's did that to eachother. Instead, he just bowed his head to Artemis in return. It was much more in his nature to do something polite than silly, like his parents.

((Gotta poof for about 10-15 minutes, okies.))

Sayuri_Nitta
(( Thanks heart ))

'He does?' Dory blinked a few times at this. She knew that to her Swafi was something, because she had remembered his name, when so often she forgot everyone elses..even her own! Her tail flicked again with her nerves and she made up her mind to go over, clipping over to stand in front of Swafi.
'Hi..' she spoke quietly, then gently reached out, lipping his mane.

Heather Eripmav
The hawk smiled as Dory turned to talk to Swafi. She followed though stayed in the air as that was the best place to be, especially as Swafi wouldn't be the happiest with her right now!

Swafi turned to her, feeling the blood rush to his face, he didn't want to know what that darn bird had said. He could see the cheek in her face. Stupid bird! "Hello, Dory!" He smiled, trying and hoping he wasn't blushing!

Sayuri_Nitta
'I thought you had forgotten me,' Dory said cheekily. As that was something she was so often doing, it was nice to not be the one with the faulty memory.
'Your friend said that wasnt true though..' she shifted, hooves kicking at the ground a little.
'She said you really like me.'

Heather Eripmav
Swafi flashed a look at the bird in the air, "She has a habit of not being able to keep her mouth shut. If I could find a cage where she couldn't hear my thoughts I would be very happy!" He chuckled and shook his head, "She speaks the truth."

Sayuri_Nitta
(( *imagines Dory and Swafi bebehs* XD ))

'I really like you too,' Dory said, glancing up at the bird whose name had slipped from her mind already. She looked at Swafi again, boldly pressing her soft nose against his.
'But I like her. She told me what you didnt seem to want to do.'

Heather Eripmav
Swafi was slightly shocked by what he said and why he did what he did next he wasn't sure but he nuzzled her neck, feeling her mane on his face. "I wanted to tell you Dory... just... I didn't know, how.." He felt a little silly again and looked up, "She just says what I can't, as it doesn't affect her. She may be annoying but she is a lovely bird." A compliment to her, well that was a rare thing!

((there babies would be really interesting!))

Sayuri_Nitta
(( Then she'll have forgetful foals XD ))

'I'd have remembered it...' Dory said, curious if that was his reason for not saying.
'I remember you..and your name,' her voice dropped to a low whisper, her mouth near one of his pointed ears.
'I can't remember your familiar's name though!' she giggled, moving away from his ear so she didnt deafen him.

Heather Eripmav

Swafi chuckled, "You dont need to remember her name!" He smiled looking up at her. He turned to Artemis who was taking the princess off, she was with her brother, she would be ok. "Would you like to go on a walk Dory? If you dont mind a bird following us constantly!"

Sayuri_Nitta
(( Can we stick a pause on it for now Remove? I have some stuff to do offline before it gets really late XD ))

Dory nodded.
'I don't mind...' she clipped forwards then turned to look at him, and the hawk.
'Where to then? I will follow you.'

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki
Hania breathed in the mid-morning air happily as he trotted out into the clearing. It was a beautiful day, and he had a feeling he would be able to see most of his family today (besides his daughter Aruna that is) as he drank from a pool that came from a rushing brook on the other side. He turned when he heard other hooves behind him. "Good morning, Aruna," he greeted. Aruna usually slept in during the day because she stayed up most of the night to watch the night sky and see the sunrise.

Aruna nodded to her father as she came up behind him. "Good morning, Father," she replied, somewhat weary. She had had disturbing dreams as she slept, but she was fine now, for at least, she had had a fitful sleep. "You're very cheerful this morning, Father..." Hania only hummed happily, and so she followed him as he took her for their daily exercise of trotting, cantering, and running... or so she thought. This was the direction to her mother's teepee. We're going to visit Mother today?

Remove
Mahiri was drinking from a pot put out by the girl, Artemis was with her. The two mares were drinking happily after their last meal that was a little spoilt, the girl had been working hard lately!

The fox mares ears suddenly flicked back and she raised her head to nicker at her mate. She could hear him coming a mile off!

Turning she trotted towards him where she saw her daughter, "Hania, Aruna!" She nuzzled Hania's neck and then Aruna's. It was nice to see them both again! "Follow me, there is someone who might like to see you!"

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki
Hania nuzzled his mate back, happy to see her again. "Oh? And whom might this be? If you're playing tricks again on me with Swafi, Hiri, I'm not laughing again," he teased, and beckoned to his daughter.

Aruna smiled at her mother and nuzzled her back as well. "Someone new? You make friends so easily, Mother," Aruna said, chuckling. Her curiosity was peaked, however, and so she followed her mother to go see who it was.

Mahiri chuckled, "No Swafi is off somewhere! Come see!" She didn't say anything about her daughters remark, after all it wasn't everyday that they got to see Artemis!

As they reached the Teepee, Mahiri stood aside leaving Artemis, who was still drinking, in full view.

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki
Hania stared for a second, startled. "Can it truly be...?" He recognized her immediately (for he wouldn't be a great father if he didn't know his children) and he gaped a bit, so surprised as he was. "Artemis...?" he finally breathed out. It was so startling to see his [long-lost] daughter. He hoped Aruna recognized her sister.

As Aruna approached, she noticed a brown mare drinking, and as she observed the mare, something in the back of her mind tingled with familiarity. However, she didn't quite recognize her until Hania said "Artemis" and she allowed a soft gasp to emerge from her mouth. Her sister? No, she was dreaming. But it was true. "Artemis?!" she cried out softly (for she was one to never say things loudly) and gawked. She was that surprised; she dropped her mask of indifference, after all.

Remove
Mahiri let out a small chuckle as she trotted towards Artemis. She saw her daughter more then her daughter saw anyone else but it was time they had a bit of a get together, if only Barin was around!

Artemis looked up and a smile crossed her face. She looked at her mother who nodded and then she bowed her head walking towards her father and sister. "Hello Father, Aruna..." She was a little timid, it was strange seeing family you hardly knew.

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki
"What's this? My daughter, being afraid of me? Why, I'm hurt, dearest Artemis," Hania teased her gently as he walked over to where his mate and other daughter stood. "That's it! You should hang out with Aruna (preferably Bairn, actually, because I think Aruna might scare you with her friends...) more!" he smiled at her, and nuzzled her gently. He wanted to appear to Artemis as a father that cared.

Hania had whispered something that she couldn't hear, but she figured it was something teasing. She glared at her father, and then gave Artemis a half-tilted smile. "Hello, Artemis. I'm sorry I didn't recognize you right away. And don't worry about Father, he's a bit deprived from having fun since he hardly ever sees Mother anymore." She could feel her father's mocking-glare on her, but ignored it as she smiled a bit more to reassure her sister.

Remove
Mahiri walked over to Hania and nudged him, "Be nice!" She chuckled and nipped at his neck affectionatly. She seemed somewhat calm, different to her normal bouncy self but this was a moment to be calm, her family was pretty much all together, the thing was, Barin would be back soon enough and Artemis was rarely around, so this was something of a special moment.

Artemis watched her mother and then smiled at father, "As if it is possible to be scared of someone like you!" She then turned to her sister and chuckled, "Maybe they want a bit of alone time!" She laughed and winked at Aruna so that neither of their parents could see it.

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki
"Do you really think that, Artemis?" Hania asked, feigning shock. He had been listening in. "And.. ow, Hiri, Okay, I'll be nice." He grinned, feeling happy. Today was most definitely special; after all, he had his family together, and Artemis was here. Too bad Bairn wasn't around.

Aruna smirked. "Yes, maybe Mother and Father would like to have alone time? Are we getting in the way?" She winked back at her sister. It felt good to finally get to know her sister. She herself was close with Bairn, but Aruna was thrilled to finally get to know her sister better.

Remove
Mahiri smiled, "Come on Hania" She whispered quietly, "Leave the girls to get to know each other." She then moved to go off into the forest, after all, they did need some alone time!

Artemis nodded and then watched her mother go off, she then turned to Aruna, "Ok, come on then. Take me somewhere so we can chat and move!" She wasn't keen on staying in one place, it was nice to get out and about!

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki

Hania mock-pouted. "Do I really have to?" He laughed, and nuzzled Mahiri. "Oh, all right. Have fun girls, but be careful, okay? If you have trouble, yell, okay?" He smiled at them, and followed after his mate. He really couldn't say no to her.

Aruna watched as her father left with her mother, and then turned to Artemis. "Well, how about we head over to one of my favorite places to hang out? It's where I've met a lot of different Soquili." She led the way, going in the opposite direction of their parents.

Remove
Artemis laughed as her mother and father went off before turning to her sister, "Sure, anywhere is fine with me! I need to meet some others anyway!" She let out a small chuckle before shifting about on her hooves. She still felt a little uncomfortable but as they moved slowly she shook her head, sending her curly mane flying in all directions.

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki

"You act kind of like Mother and look like Father," Aruna commented, smiling. "But I'm sure you're altogether completely different from them, too. We all are." Aruna led Artemis to a secluded looking clearing, where many hooves (including hers and now Artemis's) had trampled over the grass and dirt, but it was pretty, for there was bubbling brook nearby, and many flowers of many colors all around, too.

Remove

Artemis listened and let out a small smile, "I am normally a little more calm and gentle but well, its different around your family, especially if you don't see them often!" She nickered happily and followed her sister, hoping maybe she will bump into someone else.

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki
((Taro is so awesome, Hime! <3))

"I completely agree. I'm different when I'm with family!" She laughed softly, and showed her the place she always came to. "In a way, this is almost a secret spot." She smiled at her sister. She was very gentle. "So, have you met anyone you like?" She asked, sounding casual but hoping Artemis caught the hint.

Remove
She smiled, "Secret hey?" She chuckled and shook her head, "No not in either way, what about you?" She tilted her head looking interested. She had to know if her sister had a guy, it was natural for sisters right?

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki

"Huh?" Aruna blinked, slightly startled. She forgot that the question would be fired back at her. "Sort of. I guess you can say I fell in love, and then... things happened and I haven't been too stable in that emotion." She smiled at her sister, trying to let Artemis know that she was fine.

Remove
Artemis listened and tilted her head, "Oh? What happened?" She trotted down to a small stream and drank a little, her mouth feeling somewhat dry, though whether that was nerves or something else, she wasn't quite sure.

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki
Aruna smiled sadly. "I think I have weird tastes, that's all." She didn't really feel like talking about it until the issue itself had settled. She had met Rahu again and again, but they could seem to get the problem fixed. "The problem isn't entirely fixed yet, so I'll tell you the whole story when it's all done and over with." She, too, was thirsty, and followed suit with her sister to have a drink.

Remove
"At least you have met others!" She slowly raised her head and looked around, she could see no one and it depressed her slightly. She wanted to make some friends, she was kind, gentle and was sure that she should have some friends!

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki
Aruna smiled at her sister. "Friends? Only two or three, really. The others I'm at odd's ends with. I always argue with them." She laughed. "Trust me, I don't really consider them friends until we've actually agreed on something. With you, though, it's a wonder you don't have more friends than me!" Aruna knew her sister, now that she knew Artemis a little better, would have an easy time making friends. "I bet you know nicer Soquili I do!"

Remove
Artemis laughed, "I dont have friends, just others I briefly met!" She nickered a little pretending that it didn't matter. After all being unsocial wasn't all that bad, surely!

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki
"Loneliness doesn't suit you, Artemis," Aruna said softly. "And those others you met briefly are still your friends, no matter if you've met them briefly." She nuzzled her sister. "I understand, Artemis, so it's okay." Aruna preferred being by herself, but she liked having company, too, from time to time.

It was a beautiful array of colors, he noticed, one that reflected the various colors of his own coat. Red, orange, gold, yellow, brown... it was a sea of gorgeous firey shades. The similarly colored stallion wandered aimlessly through the forest, no particular destination in mind, simply enjoying the autumn breeze.

Remove
The female trotted through the forest, her mind elsewhere. She was naturally a loner, thats all she seemed to be, a loner. She let her legs move her without knowing where she was heading. It seemed that she was her only friend, apart from her family of course. Her mother, father, brother and sister, they were all her friends.

She let her mind wander, not noticing the other soquili, maybe she would have laughed if she had. She had a habit of meeting unusual males!

Kyaishi
Nanaki himself was more of a rogue than his other companions... well, except maybe for Cloud. Then again, he was more of a comrade-in-arms than a friend. Could he honestly say he had friends? There was Cualtzin, Star Catcher, and Nalani, all of whom he had a friendly fondness for, and he could only guess at what their feelings were. Still, this land was just an entirely new adventure- one without the pollution, corruption, and war that he had grown up knowing.

Golden eyes lifted to settle curiously upon the petite form of the auburn-colored mare, ears flicking back and forth curiously as his tail waved from side to side. After a moment of deliberation, he lifted his head and nickered a soft greeting.

Remove
She turned suddenly and nickered a greeting back. She smiled at the stallion, not judging him but finding his appearence most amusing.

She lowered her head infront of her, a little respect. "I am Artemis, whats your name sir?" She asked curiously, she was a curious creature after all!

The crystal-clear water felt cool against her warm coat. She had been walking for several hours, exploring the lands which she lived on, now exhausted she rested in the shallow part of the stream. Her long, tiger-striped tail swayed gently in the current. Lowering her head, she took sips of the delightful water to quench her thirst. She kept her wings raised because they were delicate and would be harmed by the water.

Remove
Swafi was trotting about, he hadn't seen Dory in so long, then again he hadn't really been about much for such a long time.

He tossed his head as he headed down towards the water he needed a drink, desperatly! He was flicking his tail behind him, swatting the flies that attempted to land on him, he wasn't exactly the nicest of creatures to things he didn't like.

Above him flew an osprey, incredibly happy to at last be heading down to water, fishing time at long last!

Lovely Wolf Guardian
Something pulled on her floating tail, it was fish biting on the ends thinking it was food. She couldn't help but chuckle and pull her tail away. The determined fish followed it and continued to attack it as though it were worms. Nalani lifted her tail and placed it over her rump so they couldn't reach it. The water felt so good that she decided to stay a bit longer.

Remove
Korho reached the water first, diving down, a fish in her talons in seconds. She happily flew to the side and rested to eat her fish, this was much better.

Swafi followed, laughing somewhat as he watched the osprey, "Careful girl, you might hurt yourself!" He laughed as he went to have a drink, not realising there was a beautiful mare near by.

Lovely Wolf Guardian
She had been watching the fishes swim back and forth as though searching for the disappearing "worms", when suddenly an osprey swooped down and snatched one right out of the water. Nalani was overly surprised because it just came out of nowhere. Now it rested on a rock with the fish in her claws.

Laughter was heard coming from beside her and she turned her head. A stallion had come for a drink, appearently, he was a friend of the osprey. He had strange markings on his legs, one was of a cross, and he had markings on his forehead. She remained quiet for she did not want to startle him.

Remove
Swafi looked up as Korho spoke and suddenly felt somewhat stupid, "Oh what?" He turned around and saw the pretty female, he was a flirt by nature and he suddenly had something of a hard time remembering that he was taken...

I love Dory, I love Dory, I love Dory, I love Dory, I love Dory, I love Dory, I love Dory.... He let the toughts continue in a stream till he was sure he had reminded himself that he was indeed taken.

Korho who had now flown toland happily on Swafi's back looked at the female, "I am sorry dear, Swafi here isn't exactly clever. He likes girls you see, especially pretty ones like you, he just has a problem remebering that he has a beautiful girl as a mate sometimes. Anyway, I am Korho, who may I ask are you?"

It wasn't unusual for the pair to be found together, nor was it unusual for Korho to do the talking, she seemed to have somewhat more guts that her friend, Swafi.

Lovely Wolf Guardian
The stallion had lifted his head and spotted her. For some reason he didn't take his eyes off of her and it made her kind of uneasy. Am I invading his territory? Is there something on my face? Why is he staring at me?! Nalani stood up to leave but the stallion's osprey friend stopped her. The bird apologized for her friend and said that it was because the stallion liked girls but he was taken. She then introduced themselves as Korho and the stallion, Swafi. "It's a pleasure meeting you, Korho and your friend Swafi. I am Nalani." The mare bowed gracefully at the strangers.

Remove
Swafi smiled and bowed his head.

"Korho believes she knows everything in the world, and likes to speak for me, annoyingly." He chuckled as he watched his friend fly up and catch another fish, she hadn't eaten in a while so while they were by water she was going to make a meal of it.

"May I ask why a beautiful lady like you is about?" Swafi smiled as he spoke, yes he would be something of a flirt no matter who he was mated with.

Lovely Wolf Guardian
She chuckled at the stallion's remark of his friend. The osprey took off once again to snag another fish to feed on. Her ears flickered back and forth when Swafi asked about her. She blushed at his comment and looked down, trying to cover her reddened face with her mane. "I have been exploring the lands and I was so exhausted and hot that I came here to rest and cool off."

Remove
"The lands are beautiful aren't they! You shoudl head to the beach, now that is the most beautiful place!" yes he was slightly bias, the beach held his mate, his beautiful Dory!

Korho choked on her fish as Swafi spoke, oh he was so bias! She was however far more interested in her fish then her stupid friend!

Lovely Wolf Guardian
She grinned girlishly at the mention of the beach. "I love the beach! I spend most of my time there. The sea is so beautiful and relaxing. Just listening to the waves soothes even the greatest of stresses." Nalani never thought she would meet someone else who thought the beach was the most beautiful place here. She was really glad to have met him.

Remove
Swafi smiled, "You should meet my Dory, she lives down the beach, a little forgetful but she adores the beach!" He smiled, flicking his tail behind him.

Korho looked up, "Lets go to the beach now!" She had her own ideas, she wanted to get some bigger fish! "Come on, we ccan go play on the sand!" She flew over to Swafi, tugging at his mane.

"Korho!!" He snorted and then turned back to the female, "That ok with you? Korho seems desperate!"

-A soft sigh of contenment touched the flutter stallion as his eyes drifted towards the skies. Despite his wings, and the freedom it allowed he'd always found himself content with the ground.. and today was no different. Blue sky speckled with white fluffy clouds being tugged along by the wind. Color changing leaves rustling loosely in the soft breeze. What an absolutely wonderful day!

A day to be free, to just run along whereever the wind should guide, perhaps even close his eyes to make the journey that much more exciting.

A loud nicker rumbling from the small stallion be began to move amongst the grasses, azure hooves carrying him in a trot that soon became almost a gallop.-

Remove

She would have longed to fly, move about in the sky, though she was stuck to the ground, something she wasn't overly keen on. The skies called to her, the beauty of them. They were just so open, so clear, so... so amazing. There no words for her to explain it.

The mare was just staring at the sky, dreaming yet again. Dreams were her friends, she was so sweet but yet so nervous, oh how she feared meeting people but yet loved it at the same time.

Iris_virus
-It was a good thing that he hadn't let his eyes close as he ran. For he'd only made it over one or two rolling slopes before the earthen hued female touched his eyes, a soft snort escaping him at the mild surprise.

A good surprise of course, he loved meeting new people! Slowing himself gently, eyes settled upon the female as she seemed to inspect the sky, he called out, a warm nicker, followed by a few cheery words.- "Hello there! Beautiful breeze today, don't you think?"

Remove
She jumped suddenly, looking at the stallion, blinking alot. Another odd looking male, at least he didn't look as odd as the others she had met recently.

"Er.. yes, it is." She stared at his wings, she had seen nothing like them before, "Your wings are beautiful too..." She was transfixed, this was something new to her. There maybe many flutters around but she managed to avoid most of them, unintentionally!

Iris_virus
-A smile quickly settled upon his muzzle as the mare slipped from her daydream slowly and pleasantly to him, and he streched out his wings for her indulgantly. He was used to it really, having been the first flutter for many others in the past as well.

And when finally it seemed as if he'd given her a long enough look, he fluttered the delicate little appendages gently, before settling them upright once again.- "Thanks! They're kind of the same color as the sky I think."

-But impatience was tugging at the stallion as he looked up at the mare, it was weird.. how small his species was.. that the mares of other species usually towered over him. It almost made him look more like the colt he no longer was in body.- "My name is Ashling. I was just letting the wind pull me along. What are you doing?"

Remove
She nodded agreeing with him.

"Oh I was just admiring the sky, it would be so lovely to fly up there like so many seem to be able to..." She smiled, staring up at the sky that she admired so much.

"Oh, sorry, I am Artemis." She smiled at him, she really wasn't use to meeting strangers.

Iris_virus
"Nice to meet you!" -He nodded softly to the greeting, logging the name in his mind as he took in her apparence once more. She would be easy enough to remember. Artemis was a pretty name.. and the one white sock she had was really charming.

Eyes lifting to follow hers he laughed just a little.- "The sky is nice. But I like the ground myself. Much softer, and tastier too!"

"The sky has the clouds.. and the birds.. but the ground has rivers and berries! And lots and lots of soquili." -He nodded matter of factly at his logic, tail twitching to and fro gently.-

Remove
She giggled somewhat as he spoke, "Oh you are so strange. How I long to be able to be up there, away from the ground. Soquili come in all sorts, I love them all but you can only see the ones who truely need a friend from in the sky.." She continued to look at the sky, her eyes admiring it as she did so.

"It is beautiful..."

Iris_virus
-He gained a soft laugh at her words, not debating her assertion of him being 'strange', stepping closer to try and look up whatever patch of sky she seemed so inrigued with.-

"If I were big enough I'd take you up there, so you could see. But I'm afraid I'm not nearly that strong."

"Perhaps though! Maybe we can find some sort of ridge for you to stand upon? That's kind of like being in the air!"

Remove
She looked at him, her eyes lighting up suddenly, "Really?" She smiled.

"A ridge would be great, you should be stronger!" She stuck her tongue out a little playfully. Once she got comfortable around someone she was incredibly playful and sweet, with an innocent, childish aura around her.

Silent Spy
All You Need Is Love
Randee's life has been a slow drive downhill. Randee, now completely depressed is now all alone. She has not seen her daughter, Sgina, since she was disowned as a foal. Her other two children, Kimi and Kainen hardly visit her. Her best friend in the world, Leah, has run off many moons ago and is yet to return. Finally, there is Randee's latest crisis in her life.
Her mate, Unesdala ale Vsti, is sick and Randee was foolish. Unesdala had told Randee he had met with Sgina, and Randee lost it. She demanded time alone from Unesdala, but she now realizes that's the worst decision she could have made.
Who can comfort Randee in this time of need?

User Image

Randee stood in the shallow edge of the stream, looking down into the water, staring at her reflection. A tear rolled down from her eye, down her cheek and dropped into the water, rippling the reflection.
Randee closed her eyes and wept quietly. She didn't want too much attention brought to her. Yet, at the same time, that's what she wanted most of all. She wanted attention.
She felt so childish thinking this, but Randee could really use someone to help her through these troubles. Oh, but what can anyone do? Randee messed up her own life. Everything that had happened was her fault after all.
Randee turned her head up to the sun, with her eyes remaining shut and let out a cry of grief before breaking out into a hysterically crying fit.

Remove
Artemis had been only passing but her ears heard the sound of crying. She was far too kind and gentle to just walk on past, it wasn't in her nature to do such a horrid thing.

She turned from the route she was taking and walked down to the stream, she spotted the female crying and felt a deep compassion towards her, she knew nothing of what was wrong but Artemis had never once seen one cry like this.

She walked a little closer, not exactly quietly as the last thing she really wanted to do was startle the other femme.

"Excuse me... Do you need anything? Any help, anything?" She spoke quietly and softly, her eyes watching the beautiful female in front of her, she had such lovely mane and her pelt was unusual but so pretty.

Silent Spy
Randee sharply turned her head to the voice quickly, as if she were trying to intimidate the voice. Randee then took a step back to find it was another mare. Randee smiled politely as the tears continued to roll down her face.
"Actually, I suppose I can use something," said Randee. She needed a friend. "I just need someone to talk too. I need someone who will listen and won't judge me based on the terrible things I've don in my past."
Randee looked at the mare strangely, as if it were a stare, yet full of sadness, compassion and hope. Randee hoped that this Soquili, this mare, would be able to help Randee get through these terrible times in her life.

Remove
She listened to what the mare said and smiled, "I have never judged anyone before, no matter what someone may have done in their past, it doesn't mean it is who they are." She smiled and walked a little closer to the other female.

"I will be a friend, if you would like me to be?" She kept her voice calm, not that it had been heard of for Artemis to raise her voice to anyone!

"Oh! I am Artemis by the way! Wouldn't be a good friendship if you didn't even know my name!" She chuckled a little and shook her head, "Sorry."

Apple was grazing in the fields when heard the quiet weeping of another horse. He tried to forget about it, but was too nice. He lifted his head up from the grass and looked around to see a mare near a river. She looked sort of like another mare he had met the other day. Slowly he walked over to her smiling slitley. "Hello." He said hoping not to startle the mare. "What is the matter?"

Silent Spy
Randee smiled at what Artemis had said. Those were the most true words Randee has heard in a long time.
"Yes, what someone does in their past does not define them," said Randee. "But what I had done was awful! I disowned my own child! No type of mother ever does such a cruel thing. I'm a failure as a parent!"
Randee then turned the sound of a stallion's voice. Randee hoped the stallion had heard him so she wouldn't have to repeat herself. It was too difficult for Randee to talk about it in the first place.

Remove
Artemis shook her head, "No that means no such thing! There would have been reasons behind it, no matter how stupid you think they are now, I doubt they were then.." She smiled then turned to the stallion, not actually saying anything to him.

Silent Spy
Randee smiled at the mare. The mare hardly even knew Randee, but she already cared for her. Similarily, Randee hardly knew Artemis or the stallion, but she was releasing all her problems to the two. Perhaps these two could help Randee after all.
"I don't know how you can help me either, but I do trust that you will be able to help me," said Randee.
"I hope you can help me," said Randee softly with a hopeful smile.

Remove
"I am sure I can somehow." Artemis smiled at the mare and nickered softly at the femme.

Artemis looked at the stallion and back at the mare. "How about for now, we do something fun, I don't know, just go for a run, let things out, we could always talk later. Its good to just run sometimes!" She tilted her head slightly and nickered again, she wanted to get this mare to have fun, it might help her a little.

The light brown mare moved swiftly as she did so often. Her legs moving in time with each other she moved slowly, her mane half covering her face as she moved.

Her tail flicked behind her as she moved, she wasn't exactly paying attention to life right now, why would she. She cared little about others and what they thought about her and she only cared about helping people, making sure the lonley had friends.

She found herself heading down towards the water, she liked it down there, it was always so calm. It helped her relax.

dustfeather
(:snugs silencer: )
Thestral had been wandering, as usual. Jewel seemed rather distracted these days; too distracted to really pay much attention to the kalona. Faola ignored him, so the stallion found his way to the water's edge to get something to drink and a bite to eat.

Dragonic wings are smoothed quietly against his flanks, and there's something distinctly reptillian about his entire appearance. Even his tongue, as it flicks in and out, is vaguely snake-like and long. He's crunching quite happily on something bloody that may, once upon a time, have been a living squirrel. It's difficult to tell.

Remove
Artemis reached the water before she noticed the black stallion with strange wings. She smiled at him before drinking some of the water. She needed a drink.

She turned to the stallion and smiled, she couldn't remember ever seeing him but then she had been away from social creatures for so long she had indeed forgotten what it was like!

"Hello there sir." She smiled, tilting her head ever so slightly. Her tail flicked behind her as she looked at the strange and curious creature in front of her.

dustfeather

There was a clear crunch as Thestral breaks through some more bones, and swallows hastily, raising his head. He doesn't seem to need to blink as much as other soquili; he stares quite curiously at Artemis, his head cocked like a bird's.

He gives his tail a little swish at her words, almost like a dog wagging it's tail at a stranger. Other than that, there's no indication that he realized Artemis spoke at all; he merely gives a little whine that's coupled with a hiss. But there's absoluely nothing threatening in his manner: he looks quite at ease, still watching her.

Remove
She didn't even flinch at the cracking noise though yes, it was most definatly true that it scared her a little. He didn't look friendly but she refused to believe he wasn't, everyone had some sort of goodness in them.

"Please mister... can you speak?" She spoke softly and slowly walked towards the stallion. She was slightly confused to why he would not talk but she would make him, she had to! She wanted to make friends.

dustfeather
(:giggles at phoenix: As long as we RP in-thread? xd I'm bad at responding to guild RPs.)

Again, it's difficult to tell if he actually understands what she's saying, but he quite politely dips his head down, picks up the remainder of the squirrel, and edges closer, dropping it quite neatly in front of her and nosing it toward her. Looking immensely pleased with himself, he gives his tail another brisk whisk, making the same hissing whine, and giving her a look as if to ask: 'There; aren't you proud of me?'

Remove
She smiled as he did what he did.

"You are a strange boy." She laughed and walked over to him, she wanted to touch his wings. She picked up the squirrel on the way to him and dropped it infront of him trying to get him to eat it, she was a grass girl!

She moved closer to him, stretching her neck to try and touch his wings without him becomming alarmed.

"You are a funny thing..." She spoke softly, very softly.

dustfeather
(Syn: The Gypsy King. smile And I traded him for the SoA God of the Moon. <3)

He seems a little puzzled as to her actions; she doesn't want to eat the nice and tasty squirrel? But perhaps she's just eatten. His features smooth out into a carefree look, and he happily gulps down the remainder of the squirrel. Despite looking (and perhaps acting) a bit like a monster, his habits are as fastidious as a wolf's, for every bit of blood or fur is washed away from his jaws by that longer-than-normal tongue.

He jumps slightly as she touches his wings, but then stands quietly still: he's learned long ago that if he makes too many sudden movements, other soquili tend to get nervous. Curiously, however, her reaches out to snuffle at her mane.

Remove
She smiled as he touched her mane and she rubbed her head against him, he felt different from most normal Soquili but yet he was also sweeter and seemed kinder.

"How am I to know your name, you are so silent.." She watched him again, fascinated by him.

"I am Artemis or Artie or Arty or whatever.." She chuckled a little. The black demon like soquili was the reason she never judged anyone by looking at them.

dustfeather

Thestral looks quite content, tugging a little at a lock of her mane like a puppy. He's already committed her scent to memory: it's how he 'names' everyone he comes in contact with.

"Thestral! Thestral!" A magnificant unicorn stallion steps out of the forest, frowning, and the kalona drops Artemis's mane and nickers at him. It sounds as if he has a difficult time doing it...like it was only a poor copy of something he heard before. But the dark stallion looks delighted to see the older, white one, although he doesn't move from his spot.

Jewel, seeing that his adopted 'son' ('pet' might be the better word for it) isn't alone, hastens over. "I've been looking everywhere for you," he mutters, shaking out his mane and scolding. "You need to stop wandering off like that, I turn my back and you're gone. Heaven knows what you'd get up to if left on your own." He looks rather guiltily over to Artemis. "I hope he's not bothering you, miss...?"

Remove
She looked confused for a second but looked at the black stallion again, "You are Thestral? Lovely name.." She smiled at him before turning suddenly.

"Oh no, he couldn't possibly be a bother, he is just so sweet." She smiled at the black stallion again. "Does he understand me? When I talk to him?" She looked curious, this stallion could be such a great friend, he seemed so affectionate.

Jewel looks relieved that the strange mare isn't frightened by the kalona's appearance, and relaxes accordingly. "Ah - no, I don't particularly think so. I've tried to teach him to speak, but I don't think he can...at least, not in terms that we can understand. I gave him the name thestral because he looks like a thestral...a legendary soquili I heard of when I was a foal." He watches the dark stallion, who prances around them three times in a circle, bounding like a very overgrown kitten, before coming to a dust-strewn halt inbetween them again, curving his wings back once more and shaking out his mane cheeruflly.

"My name's Jewel," he adds, belatedly. "Thestral is - er - my adopted son of sorts."

"I am Artemis." She had listened to the story.

"He is so sweet, you have a lovely son there." She smiled at him again. "I expect he would make a good friend, do many meet him?" She had question's and now she had someone who might answer them though she did in a way wish he would leave. She wanted to find a way of communicating with him somehow.

Unfortunately for Artemis, Jewel seems a bit oblivious to her feelings. He watches Thestral lose some interest in them and poke his nose around in the water. "Not really. He tends to be a bit of a loner, seems to like being on his own." In that, Jewel is wrong...but he doesn't pay enough attention to notice.

She looked at Jewel curiously and then at Threstral, "Really? He seemed very social for a loner." She smiled at Jewel polietly and walked slowly towards Threstral.

"Threstral..." She smiled, hoping he would understand her. He nudged at his side lightly and somewhat playfully. She wanted to get him to understand her someway and he seemed to be a physical creature.

Thestral glances up at hearing his name; that seems to be a word he does know. His muzzle is wet through from the water; he blows the droplets away noisily, happily. At the nudge, his eyes brighten and he nudges back, but immediately jumps away, sending up a sudden spray of water as he dashes to the bank, then looks back over his shoulder. His indications are pretty obvious: he wants to play tag!

Behind them, Jewel watches for a moment, before shaking his head. He turns about, soft as a mouse, and melts quietly back into the forest, in search of Wambli.

FallenCatAngel (21:01:11): Artemis chuckled somewhat and started to chase after him, she hadn't planned on playing but then again she also wasn't about to leave him either. He was a curious creature.

"Thestral!" She chuckled, letting her legs move as fast as they can after the black Kalona. An odd chase, in her head at least but she enjoyed it.
bluekillerdonkey (21:15:09): He seems pleased that she's chasing after him; his dark long tail swishes cheerfully and his gait takes on a definite prance. He darts to and fro among the trees, losing himself in the shadows. But he can't go that fast, either...his wings don't allow him to, not in the forest like this, at least.

FallenCatAngel (21:19:49): The forest was her home, she had grown up weaving in and out of trees, jumping logs so for her this terrain was right, it was perfect.

She was able to catch up with him in the forest reasonably easy but instead of tagging him she ran straight on and past him, letting her tail fly behind her as she weaved between the trees.
bluekillerdonkey (21:30:24): A look of vague surprise flicks across his features, although it's hard to tell - those features are so reptillian that if you're not looking closely, you'll miss it. It certainly gives him pause, and he almost crashes right into a tree. He manages to catch himself in time, though, just stumbling, and shaking out his wings to balance himself further. A simple snort is given, and it's meaning couldn't be more clear: no way is he going to let someone beat him! With a bugle of challenge, he leaps after her. But his ears are pricked forward, not back: he's obviously still in play mode.

When he reaches a slight break in the trees, he launches himself up and above, spiraling high up. Silence.
FallenCatAngel (21:33:00): Artemis heard something as they reached the break in the trees, looking up she laughed. "Thats cheating!" She shouted up at him. That wasn't fair!

She pushed her body to run faster now, though she was sure she was now using up alot more energy then he was! It was so not fair!
bluekillerdonkey (22:14:59): (geh, sorry, my brain died back there. xD)

WHOOSH. A flap of wings, and he dove down beside her, carefully snapping his wings to his sides right before tree-level, so that he lands rather heavily...but he still manages to land at a run. His muzzle lifts into a parody of a smile - canine teeth and all - and his tongue hangs out just a little, as if he were laughing at her, his ears jauntily thrown forward. But while he's doing this, he's not looking where he's going, and one misplaced twig later, he's fallen head over heels into a small stream.
FallenCatAngel (22:16:35): ((s'ok))

She chuckled as he flew down, so elegantly. It was fun to watch though she never stopped running untill he fell.

She turned and ran at him, slowing down, slowly so not to end up in the same mess that he found himself right now. "Thats what you get for cheating!" She chuckled and nudged him

The large stallion made his way towards the beach, he had travelled here regulary lately, more for the osprey that flew with him then himself though the hope of catching sight of his lovely Dory kept him going willingly.

The stallion and osprey were a strange couple, Swafi use to be the out going one but now he has no secrets so keeps himself to himself a little more.

Today however he had decided to get his own back, as Korho fished and got a little closer to the water as she dived, Swafi rushed in after her, splassing sending water and fish everywhere, Korho wouldn't be eating much today that was for sure, she had a cheeky stallion to deal with.

Dory clipped along the sand, the sea breeze catching her mane and short tail as she walked. The water rolled in, washing the beach and rolled out again in a calming rhythm. She needed that, to see the vast water again after her months of wandering. Her coat looked dull, dusty, and she walked with heavy steps.
She had gone to find her companion, the faithful little vixen Squishy who had gone away for her own private reasons. Dory had gotten terribly lost and only through sheer luck had found her way back home. And once back, she thought of the stallion who she had let into her heart...he surely had forgotten of her by now and was with another less scatter brained mare.
When she saw him in the water she stopped, watching only, afraid to approach him for fear of what he might have to tell her...

Hok'ee inhaled the salty aroma, bringing back so many memories... So many memories that he had burried away, and truely hoped they would stay burried. But, on this occasion, he couldn't help but to wander onto the land he had grown up on, the land he had been abandoned on. He once again brushed those memories away once seeing two Soquili, curious as to what they were doing. The mare was just standing there, staring at the stallion. The stallion didn't even seem to notice. Shrugging it off, he watched the two closely, observing.

Korho was the first to notice anything and anyone, so it didn't take her long to notice that the one they had been looking for was very near. She got hold of some of the Stallions mane in her talons and pulled till he saw her.

His eyes lit up, his Dory! "Dory!" He smiled and trotted over, getting faster and faster till he reached her. "Dory, my love!" He smiled, oh how happy he was.

orho however turned to the stranger and flew over to him, "How are you sir? May I enquire your name?"

She had almost fled when Swafi finally saw her, her usual cheery manner having deserted her at that moment. But she stayed fast, and was glad she had when he spoke to her in tones of such gladness that she felt ashamed for having thought he would have forgotten her.
'Swafi..' she went to him, her flanks touching his and she lipped at his face, blowing air gently through her nose.
'I missed you,' she closed her eyes as she nosed him, lost for a moment in the greeting of her mate.

His attention being torn from the horses, Hok'ee blinked at the hawk. "I'm fine, thank you. The name's Hok'ee. Just visiting for the moment." Nodding, he raised a brow at the two Soquilis, for he had never seen them before. "They're a lovely couple." He smiled at the hawk. "Do you have a name?"

((I appologise for the short response.))

Swafi smiled, he had his mate, his wonderful beautiful mate.

"I missed you to, Korho could tell you that." He had stayed loyal to Dory, something that was unusual for the previous flirty stallion. He had met many females, beautiful and not but he had never forgotten his mate.

Korho looked at the stallion, perching herself on his back. "I am Korho, that is Swafi and his mate Dory. They are a beautiful couple, a strange one as well." She did talk an awful lot this osprey.

Sayuri_Nitta

Her stubby tail flickered swiftly from side to side in her happiness.
'I thought..' Dory started but then stopped. No, she wouldnt say anything. After all she really would not have blamed him completely for seeking comfort in another mare. She was just glad he had not. She lipped his mane and then glanced to where the hawk was speaking with the nearby stallion.
'Do you know him?' she asked Swafi.

.Tortured. .Pumpkin.
Hok'ee smiled, trying not to twitch as Korho's talons gripped onto his back. "No offense, but you're quite talkative for a bird..." Chuckling, he looked back at the couple, noticing the mare looking at him, he smiled at her slightly before looking back at Korho.

'I am glad I am home again, I never thought I would see this beach again. Or you,' she bumped flanks with him again, shifting her hooves as she had started to sink a little in the sand.
'I just wish I could have found Squishy. Have you seen her?' she asked, looking hopefully at Swafi.

Swafi nickered and nipped at her shoulder, "I won't ever leave you alone, not ever! I will always find you and if I don't Korho will for me." He smiled and turned to look at Korho who now decided to circle above them both.

"I haven't seen Squishy now, though Squishy doesn't like me! Could ask Korho to look? She can see better then us!" It was his idea, he didn't like Squishy and from what he knew Squishy didn't like him.

'You think Squishy doesnt like you?' Dory was surprised. But then she always thought the best of everyone. She thought.
'She just looks after me. She might have thought you would hurt me or something. She will like you because I do.'
Dory shook her mane.
'I have been far. So far I was lost. I do not think even Korho would find her.'
