For Grace: Aoi Shinu A smile spread accross Iki's green lips and she nodded whole-heartedly. "Oh yes, I would much rather spend my days and nights with you than anyone else in all of Faetasia." Although she imagined she might like to meet the woman with the child as well. Iki had really never been around children much, at least not ones she could really nurture, and it might be fun to help out now and then. That would come later though, once she'd had the good fortune of meeting all of the other girls there. For Zan: Aoi Shinu When they finally got back to the house, Dillan ran up ahead and opened the door for his new queen.
"We're home, m'lady."
He was having fun with their little royal game, and hoped that he wouldn't do anything to make her upset with him again. He liked it so much better when they were having fun together, and he never wanted that pain in his herat again...he just wasn't used to it and it just wasn't pleasant. For Jack: "Ella..."
The name rolled off his toungue in an almost poetic fashion. It sounded exotic and rare on his voice.
"I like that...Ella...such a pretty name."
He took her paw and kissed the back of it gently, his lips barely grazing it. Looking up at her over ther arm, he smiled, and then released her and took his seat beside her.
"It is a great pleasure to meet you, Ella."For Roddy: "Temple? As in..a deity's temple?"
Mindy had never been the type of girl to give much mind to the deities. She saw them as mostly being pranksters with more power than most. She'd never in her life visited a temple before. And...could she actually even recall what exactly Saranah was the goddess of?
"Well this will be a new experience for me indeed."

It was a new thing for Jellylorum. She was always used to acting conceitedly better then others, but now she was being treated like it was true, and to top it all off, she wasn't running anymore. She felt like she should, but she just couldn't. Something about Dillan made him too sticky, and she loved it as she did him.
"Heh, why thank you." Giggling ever so slightly, she went inside.

Dillan grinned widely and followed behind Jelly. He escorted her up the odd stairway to the part of the home that actually was a home and then stepped into the living room.
"You hungry? Er...we're still strapped for ingredients but I think we could find something for the night. In the morning I'll make it my goal to find a few new things to eat."
He only ever had fish because the only thing he knew how to cook was fish...and not well either. He gave her a sort of crooked apoligetic smile and awaited her answer.

"I'm fine. Don't worry about it," she laughed a bit. It was funny to see him so flustered when he had upheld such a ... such a composure with her. And yet it all melted away when they confessed themselves. It didn't seem like reality, this happiness... and she wondered just about how long it'd last and if she even cared.
Yes... she decided, she cared. She cared because Dillan was too precious to let anyone else and because she would never find another as kind to her as he had been. It was then that she also decided to test out cooking skills. "Tomorrow we'll get stuff together, and I'll try to make something... okay?" That gleaming in her eyes brought the old mischief making Jelly back, the one that was cute, alluring and ever so dangerous.

Lexander was sitting on his balcony yet again. It had been a few weeks since Iki came to live in the same house as him. He was rather enjoying her being close by. He was coming to be accustomed to the habit of her coming to sit with him and listen to him play his flute. He sat by himself for a while tonight not playing his flute. He was drawn up in a thought. He was beginning to think maybe he could take things more permanently with her. But, would she want that? Would he be pushing himself on her? Sure, living with him with others wasn't too dramatic. But... to in a way... be his wife? Should they have a wedding? What would Iki want? Maybe he should ask... the little winged antannea on his head flickered incessantly. He went to the stairs. "Iki..."He called gently. Maybe if she didnt' hear it and didn't come. that would be fine... right?

Dillan smiled and nodded his head.
"Great idea! Maybe I can actually learn how to make something besides fish..."
Suddenly, a great yawn escaped from Dillan and his body slumped a bit. He hadn't really realized how sleepy he really was before. They had done a lot of walking today.
"What do you say we hit the hay? Then we'll be awake enough to go out tomorrow. You can take my room again."
~
Iki stolled gingerly up the stairs. She was done up in full garb, not having gotten ready for bed just yet. Her kimono tonight was a new model, a deep violet color with the white sillhouettes of cherry blossoms. She smiled warmly at Lexander as she reached the floor. She was always happy to see him, even now that she saw him every day. He'd taken a huge role in her heart as of late and honestly, she couldn't imagine her life without him.
"Yes, Lexander?"
She stepped out onto the balcony with him.

There was no sense arguing for she herself was tired too, and his excitement and his yawn made it dawn on her as she returned the yawn, covering her mouth politely. "Alright." For what else was there to be said except agreements? Things worked out one way or another and for Jelly this way worked fine.

Dillan went into a small closet and grabbed a blanket and a spare pillow for himself. He'd sleep on the couch again. As he settled onto it, he made a note that it would probably be wise to expand on the house a little, now that Jelly was here. Of course he hoped she'd stay for....well...forever.
"Have a good sleep, Jelly," he said with a smile at her.

Lexander stood there in a semi serious disposition. Not that it was a bad thing; just usually Lexander wasn't the type who normally dwelt on too serious of matters. He stood there, his wings wide spread. "Iki... I was thinking, and I decided I might ask you how you would feel to be my wife. Would you like that?" His eyes glistened as he swallowed a lump of fear and nervousness down his throat. Still, he believed deep down that it was ok because Iki had always displayed a great deal of loyalty to him.

Iki, for a moment, was at a loss for words. Her eyes were wide, as if in disbelief while the question sunk in. Then her face softened back to its usual lovely way and she stepped closer to Lexander. A smile graced her lips and very softly she said to him,
"I have been waiting for just this moment, Lexander. My answer is yes."
And her eyes showed it. She was in love with him, had been for some time now. She'd come to know him so well in the time she'd lived with him, and she had been hoping to spend forever with him. Here was her dream come true.

He stepped in closer to her. He wrapped his arms around her and just held her close to him. Close enough to smell her hair, and feel her skin. He was careful not to mess up her hair or makeup. "Do you want to have a small wedding with our friends? Or, would you rather something private? I personally don't mind whichever. I will only be insistant on moving you into my room and sharing my upper flat with you." He whisked her up into his arms, holding her back with one arm, and under her knees with the next. He carried her over to a small lounge sofa he had in there. He sat her on it gently, and he took a spot beside her.

Iki smiled as he layed her on the sofa. Of course she'd move up here with him. She'd enjoyed her little space downstairs, but she'd much rather be close to her Lexander.
"I've always been more fond of small, private ceremonies. Perhaps with just those of us here at the library."
That would be nice. She wasn't very close to anyone outside of these walls anyhow.

"Yes, that's fine." He felt a lot more relieved now. These feelings and thoughts that had been nagging at him settled down. He got his flute and settled down to play something a little different for her. It was delicate and romantic.

Iki smiled and settled into the sofa. She must have seemed so serene, but her heart was racing beneath her cool composure. And why shouldn't it? She was a new bride...and she was in love. A soft, delicate sigh escaped her lips and she sat up after Lexander had been playing for a while. Gently, she placed her hand on his little flute and pushed it away from his mouth. She smiled at him momentarily and then leaned in, kissing him gingerly on his lips.

He always wanted to bring her out of her shell. And, now her she was. It was making his mind boggle. He closed his eyes and drank her in. The feeling of her being so assertive. It was consuming, and he was completely enveloped. His heart beat a mile a minute. And, in the middle of the whirlwind of feelings, he never felt so certain that he didn't want to be anywhere else. He didn't want this moment or these feelings to end.
