Mel_Darkflame LiannaMythre Mel_Darkflame People are just ignorant, sometimes. Sometimes they forget that people's minds and prefferences differ. Some people will like choir, some people will hate it. I'm perfectly okay with that.
But it's when people start INSULTING me because I'm in choir that I get mad.
I'll admit it. When I first started high school, and I saw that they put Choral on my list I was like O_O course change! but I ended up trying it out, and now I love it. some people don't give it a chance, and, well, it's their loss.
It's like how people make fun of me in choir because I'm in band. "You're in band?! HAH, GEEK!" =/
I was thinking; well. At least I dont go around calling you a noob because you sing thin and mousey. Didn't you have to sign up for choir? We do, you have to go to auditions in like march to be get placed in our choirs. 0.0 thats...odd?

I completely upnderstand. I get "Choir is stupid", "dance isnt' a sport", and "you're insane for being a IB candidate, you'll die." all the time, just because they think 'cause of these things I have no life, which isn't true at all. Just tell them to they wouldn't understand it'll drive them crazy.

Ehhhh. I know this guy and yesterday I was talking to him and I go "I'm an alto in choir now" and he says "that's so lame. don't you party?"
I'm 14...I don't need to party. I don't care what people think about me since I'm in a choir - even if my boyfriend said it was dumb I would call him a hypocrite since he's in band and the math club or something. xd And generally people think it's cool I'm in a choir. People here are nice. :]
But your friend was being a jerk...:/

I know gonk I can sight read but I couldn't when I joined choir. The whole point of a class is so you like learn and such!
