Further from here? More travel, but that was alright. Ryu'Rage had been used to traveling great distances now either by flight or by foot. Least this time she had help, someone that could direct her in the right direction, instead of Rage falling into a situation that never ended well.

Coming out of this place? Yes, perhaps it was to dark here. But sometimes the shadows felt like home to Rage, she felt like she could blend in and fade away for a little bit, in hope of finding peace and rest, but it usually ever happened. "I have to find somewhere to go, I don't think many would accept someone like me with open arms Ameh, but hopefully I cna find such a place someday..." her voice was still soft, dry. The thirst eating at her more.

Rage stood and pulled her wings closer to her body, so she herself could not see them. She never liked looking at them much, "I will follow, thank you Ameh..."

“Sometimes we have to make due with what we’re given.” Amédia spoke, and took a few slow steps forward. Her wings shifted as she moved, the pearls which bound the long tendrils still gently swaying before she folded them. But as they folded they seemed to slowly fall apart, cascading into small, flower petal shaped feathers. They melted backwards and vanished, and in its place, a pale line of gold began to snake it’s way around her neck and shoulders in gentle tattoos.

“You’ll have to excuse me,” She said softly, her head nodding gently. “I am cautious about myself.” Her now completely reverted form spoke, although she kept one small pale flower behind one of her ears. Typically she did not- but, she enjoyed keeping it around for the moment.

"It isn't far this way. Where will you go?"

Rage watched her with an intent silver hued gaze, she was chaning, illusion? Had to be, either that or Rage had suffered lack of sleep for too long. Rage wondered what she would look like in a mortal form, but sometimes she wished not to know, otherwise she might be prone to stay in that form forever, which she didn't want too. Though she hated what she was, she didn't wish to change the form her parents had given her.

"It is alright, no worries Ameh," Rage spoke softly as she walked with the white goddess. She admired the flower behind her ear, Rage had a thing for the small things in life that were beautiful, though sometimes she overlooked them.

"I don't know, perhaps after the water, I might head to where the sun sets...someplace warm I hope...I feel very cold sometimes...a warm place would be nice."

Amédia had never been very good with the intricacies of illusion- but she did have a flare for making things appear beautiful. Of the forms she took, most were lion. But she, like most goddesses, rarely kept herself into one figure- although she used forms that were not lioness less and less the more she clutched to her mortal lover. She had been seen as a bird before, as the old rabbit who lectured Arcadia, a girl- even a flower. The only thing she couldn’t do was sustain two illusions at once. If she wanted to cast it upon someone else, she had to become amorphous. Health had little to do with true magic- so her use of it was out of caution alone.

“Has something happened to you, Rage?” She questioned, her tail gently swaying. “I don’t recall many goddesses who battle so strongly against themselves.” But sadly, Amédia noted perhaps it was the entity of rage itself to rebel even against itself.

“A warm place...you should go east.”

Rage had always mused about trying to create an illusion of herself, to hide what she was, but she always in a way feared it, wondering if she tried, if she would become something more horrible (if that were possible), such as a lioness with blood stains upon her pelt, or a wild dog with countless scars upon her frame. No matter, she was what she was, even though she despised it all.

"Many things I'm afraid...I lost them, long ago, watched them leave me..." she spoke softly, speaking of her parents, her family, hoping Amedia might find it as such so she wouldn't have to go into detail. "I can't control it now because of it, my own rage, I fear it might swallow me whole someday," she extended a wing out, the red shown brightly against the black of the rest of her, " a constant reminder, that I failed them..."

She tucked her wing on her back again and followe Amedia even more. She wondered what it was like to blend in, have someone close like Amedia had. Rage doubted she would ever be granted such a loving thing. "East then I will go..." perhaps after she had some water to drink, she could be on her way, though she was aprehensive of going too far from Ameh, she felt a connection, perhaps even a friendship she wished to keep and hold near.

The small goddess listened attentively while moving in slow, hesitant patterns around the gorge. It wasn’t far from here- before leaving the desert lands, Phib and her had stopped there to rest. She was not always so good with directions- but being as old as life created an appeasing spectrum of de javu for her to slowly work off of. Everything was somehow familiar, if only in obscurity.

At the conclusion of the brief tale, Amédia frowned, and looked off to the side. Would this be her, someday? Mourning over a loss? She had tried so hard to keep herself apart. She’d never wanted for mortal life. And now... she was shocked she had thought of cubs before. At the moment, it made her stomach twist. She did not know how well she would take the deaths of those she held close to her.

“I am sorry.” Amédia spoke honestly, and lowered her head. “Water- I think it will do good. It’s very healing. You should stay away from fire.” There was a small stone outcropping, and carefully Améh scaled it. “Old healing teachings.” She explained. “Some people have too much of one element. You have too much fire in you. I have too much wood. Most people have a good balance.”

She kept up but just barely, almost wobbling side to side every now and then, trying to stay awake, she felt tired, like she would pass out, but she just needed water, that's what Rage kept on telling herself. Water would make her feel better.

"Tis not your fault Amedia, no worries on that...I just miss them..." she did, Rage missed her family so much. She would never see them again but in her dreams, and even then in her nightmares, she barely dreamt of peaceful things anymore, blackness shrouded her dreams now.

Fire and wood. Healing. All ran through her mind as it appeared they were getting clsoer to their destination, "I wish the fire would lessen, die out sometimes, but such things cannot be true on a whim, takes time I suppose..." Ryu'Rage wished she had a balance of everything, but she doubted she would ever gain one.

"Which way will you head from here Ameh?" Rage asked, watching her with silver hues, she forgot if she had asked before, damn her mind for fleeting from her.

Amédia shook her head. “You would not be you if you lost the fire. You just need to learn how to take care of yourself with so much of it. You need to focus on cool things to make a balance. But too much water is bad as well- water is flippant and it doesn’t stay still. Fire can destroy, but it follows a direct path. Wood never moves. Everything you do effects how you feel and your health. Even tiny things are connected. Changing a small thing can make a big difference.”

The rock crest ended, and now, the ground slumped forward into a low gorge. At the bottom the water pooled, and a small lonely herdsbeast rose it’s head and dashed off.

“I go where I’m needed.” She explained. “I’m always about- even now, I’m about.”

She was right, without the raging fire in her being she would not be herself, but still, she wished it was different, a lesser degree so she wouldn't be burned and scalded by the memories that haunted her mind. Ah well, so goes life. "Perhaps someday I will find a balance, I hope I do, perhaps someday I'll even find one to travel with as well, someone who would accept me for what I am..."

As they reached the bottom she craned ehr neck down to drink the cool water that sparkled in the dim light of the moon. It tasted so cool, it was so nice, she wished she could stay here with this water for a while longer, but soon she had to take her leave. In the dark it was harder to contain herself and she did not wish to hurt her new friend Amedia, if Amedia believed them friends that is.

After she had her fill Ryu'Rage raised her head and ruffled her wings a bit and stretched for a moment, her eyes on Amedia, "Will...I mean, can we meet again? It has been nice talking with you Ameh, I appreciate you putting up with my presence..."

Amédia smiled affectionately and nodded her head. “You may see me whenever you’d like.” Typically she worked only with mortals...but perhaps, she could help heal this one too. It was a different kind of healing, one that possibly was not of her own accord. But as she approached and looked at the disheartened Rage, she felt her resolve heightened.

She gently hopped down and moved beside her, smiling softly. “Do not worry. I have a good eye for things. I believe you will do fine in whatever you do. You'll find a balance.”

Ryu'Rage wished she could offer Amedia a smile as well, in return for teh grand one she was just offered, Rage hoped to someday be able to smile freely again, it would be nice. She was glad that she could see see Amedia again if she wanted, it meant a lot to the dark pelted goddess.

"I thank you then, for offering me such a thing, it has been too long, since I've had a friend, someone I could talk to, I hope I find that balance soon, thank you Ameh, for everything," Rage said in a soft voice bowing to her slightly.

"I fear I must go now, try and find a place to rest, I hope to visit you again soon," she turned and began to pad towards the direction Amedia had mentioned before, but she turned around once again, silver hues on Amedia's form,a faint smile appeared on her maw, "I will see you again," with that, she was off, trying to find her place in this crazy world.

But she was glad, she had something to look forward to in the future.

Finding Amedia again.
