I shall add to Black Metal:

Old Mans Child- (I forgot the name of that album confused but it includes "3 black virgin soils" in the album. oh my! I think its In Defiance of Existence
Dimmu Borgir-Puritanical Euphoric Misantrophia (this is kinda symphonic, too)

And for Death Metal:

Especially for Swedish Death, Hypocrisy-The Arrival
Opeth-Orchid, Still Life, My Arms Your Hearse

For Progressive Sychodenic:

Porcupine Tree-Signify,Lightbulb Sun, Deadwing, In Absentia
Opeth- (this is more for prog) All of'em
Pain of Salvation- all of their records are good i think. You shall choose any album and just listen it. This band is considered not as a metal band, but it is still good enough to mention. This is a Progressive Rock band. Progressive Metal band is sth like Dream Theater (which i dislike a lot)

Anyways, enjoy listening!

I extremely suggest you Porcupine Tree!

It definitely still remains prog, half the solos and riffs are still prog. I also noticed that Dream Evil's 'Book of Heavy Metal' is more of a Heavy Metal(doh) album than Power Metal, so, please? biggrin

Everyone knows that, the thing is, the first albums were released as 'Rhapsody' and only 'Triumph or Agony' has been released as 'Rhapsody of Fire', and I'm 100% sure that they won't be changed.
