Some pizza is good in St. Louis, but actual "St. Louis style Imo's pizza" tastes absolutely horrid- nothing like actual pizza. Chicago deep dish is pretty good, though. ^^ (the real stuff)

my friend and i relized that most jewish holidays you either basically pig out or you have to fast
i broke my fast on cake though what i would consider a perfect way to break a fast on is ginger ale or some kind of soda and some kind of dessert.

I think that it's interesting how a the fast days are usually close to a holiday that includes alot of pigging out xd . Eg. Tzom Esther is right around Purim (all that candy and sweets!!), Tzom Gidalya and Yom kippur are right after two days of pigging out on Rosh Hashana. Yep, we sure know how to stay healthy 3nodding .

I had a really tough Yom Kippur
My grandfather died on thursday before Yom Kippur so everyone was all very emotional during the services. The temple he was a part of had this special thing after the morning service called a "Healing Circle" where we all stood under a large tallit and everyone gathered around and prayed for us and our loss. It was really nice and the rabbi was wonderfull and gave us an honorary membership due to the tragic and unexpected loss...
no temple around where I live would even think of doing that stare
