Uncerimoniously whacked in the head by the flying leg,a comical *clonk!* sound bounced forth. Wincing, she hunched her head low and rubbed it tenderly, turning to glare at Ed, a growl rumbling in her throat. "ED! Quit it already! Jeez..can you NOT just sit still for one measley moment!?"
Mutter mutter, bottom lip poking up in a pout that should be cute on others, but on her it was simply questionable..

HOLY COW I'm sorry for the delay!!!! *dies*
Scar: He watched shenzi speak and with contempt he snarled back. Yet it was followed by a chuckle to mask his rage, "Why hyena I gave you a chance at living...You know full well what the price is for trespassing upon the Pride lands ey?" he said, a twinkling of the emerald in his stare to be seen by any around. He picked up one clawed paw only to groom it and place it back before him. "I'm merely showing you what you could be having every night...should you choose to help me..." He left his statement open ended as to allow the hyenas time to digest the though.

She paused abruptly, looking curiously up at Scar with wide yellowed eyes. "Eat like, well, like kings? Every night?" Drool escaped down her black lips, before she wiped it away with a dirty paw and sent a curious, almost distrustful look at Scar. But any questioning matter was quelled by the idea of a banquet like this every night...
"What do we need to do, how are we supposed to help?"

As the remainder of his gigglefit dies away, something registers in the nutty hyena's mind. Something about sitting still, plus the word "Quit." Quit sitting still? Well, that wouldn't be too hard! He'd have to make sure he was extra annoying, to make sure Shenzi noticed... And he's just about to go about this when Scar mentions More Food - indirectly, of course, but when it came to food, Ed was all ears.
He'd have to quit sitting still LATER.
Plopping his butt down next to Shenzi, he stares up vacantly at Scar. See, he's actually making an effort to listen! In the end, he'll just follow Shenzi and Banzai around and play their little games, but at least he could look intelligent for a moment.
Snrk. Yeah, right. DROOOOOL.

The still eagerness of the meeting was broken (So were a lot of grim looking bones) as Banzai came careening through the graveyard to the large elephant skull that he declared home. He leapt over a tusk that blocked his path to the two other hyenas, skidding to a halt as he found himself in front of his comrades. "Hey guys, guys, guess what!? I found a little rat crawling through the graveyard! That's the first sign of meat in days, I'm telling you! Don't worry guys, I saved you... the... tail...."
The remainder of the rat carcess fell from Banzai's mouth as he noticed the chunk of bone with fresh meat hanging from it. He took a step forward and sniffed it, shrinking back from the slobber that was Ed's. He glared at Ed, brow deeply furrowed. "Oh sure, you go out for a night on the pride lands without me, huh? Now all I've had to eat is some stupid rat. I mean, come on! What am I, some kind of stupid cat who gets all his meals out of a dump? I've got better class than that!" He turned around as he finished his ranting, only to find a particularly angry looking lion staring back at him. A nervous smile came to his face and he raised a paw into the air as if he was waving. "Oh hey Scar! I was... Uh... Just saying that I'm a lowly scumbag when it comes to lions such as yourself! I mean, not that there is anyone of any species that are as powerful as you... yeah..."

Mafa slowed real quick as she saw that she had infact entered the elephant graveyard, the place she had run away from , the place that held all of those bad memories. She shook her head and stopped walking all together. She peered around, not seeing Banzai anywhere. He had been right infront of her so where had he gone? She raised her maw and sniffed. Good. She coul still sense him near by, so there was not much to worry about just yet. She trekked onward, sniffing about, seeing if she could smell anything that she remotely remembered. Nothing here. She must have come out of some other side, but that didn't really matter now did it? What she was really excited about was meeting this 'gang' Banzai spoke of. How many hyenas lived around here? What were their names? Could she play with them? Were they in a lion free zone? Man, her head was just buzzing with questions upon questions, but first things first before those questions could be answered: Make sure she isn't lost, and make sure she is not alone.
((Mrrr, stupid distractons, won't let my RP in peace scream Oh well, hiya O.o))

((As a notice to the public who doesn't know: Nanook has resided as Scar. A new one has been found, but hasn't yet replied to this topic, so we are assuming Scar went off somewhere. Also, Banzai found a hyena puppy in the Mistweaver Territory which he brought back to meet Shenzi and Ed. I'll make an RP post out of this later... XD))

Shenzi shifted around where she lay atop a rack of some past meal's bones as if it were a bed. The claws of one paw were idly picking at her teeth while her eyes stared half lidded at nothing in particular. It was a slow day indeed, and she felt like getting up and hunting would be a waste of her time.
Maybe she could get Banzai and Ed to scrounge up something..unlikely, and the pair would probably eat and drool over it all if they did somehow manage to be competant in hunting.
Large ears perked, and she sat up with a blink to stare off into the cloudy mist. It smelled like there was another hyena..a female one..?

Mafa had been trotting about, looking for signs of other when suddenly, she froze. Something had moved about some where near by. It wasn't very loud, no not at all, but her sensitive ears had picked it up. She looked around and saw nothing but shadows.
"H-hello?"
She trotted forward, sniffing at the air and suddenly her spirits were lifted. She knew that smell! It was of a hyena, a female one too! Mommy! She had finally found her mom, it had to be her, there were no other female hyena around other than her right? She sprinted forward towards the other hyenas scent. A figure began to form in the mist, Mafa smiled and ran faster untill she skidded to a stop at the paws of the other hyena. Her heart sank, it wasn't her mom, it was a stranger. She looked up at this strange female and took a few steps back, not wanting to anger the female for almost bumping into her.

"Kid! Kid?" Banzai barked out for Mafa, having lost her in the grim surroundings of the Elephant Graveyard. Great... He could see the skull from where he was. He sniffed the air. Good, she was still here. He jumped down from the massive thigh bone he perched upon and began walking down the bone-ridden hill. He couldn't see her, even from up high. All that he could do now was get to Shenzi and Ed and make them help him. Shenzi HAD been complaining about being bored lately, and Ed was just... Ed.

Mafa chuckled slightly as she looked up at the older female,
"Uh.. hi?"
She grinned, trying not to look like she was up to anything, becasue she wasn't... Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice ring out, it was Banzai, he was close, she could tell. She looked up to the female once again,
"Well... I gotta go, bye..."
She smiled sheepishly and stalked off, trying to locate where Banzai's voice had come from.

The mist seemed to clear up the closer to his little settlement he got. He wasn't sure, but he thought he could just make out Shenzi now... He was pretty sure. Ed would never sit still for that long... Even sleeping... He made his way over towards her, now able to clearly see her face.
"Yo Shenzi, you seen a kid around here anywhere?" He suddenly felt something slam into his foot as he set it down. What the...? He looked down and right next to his paw was none other than Mafa! Good, his little meat bag was safe.
"Finally, I've been looking all over for you! We gotta hurry up and introduce you if we're gonna find your parents!"

Mafa grinned sheepishly and staggered up, she hadn't been watching where she was going, not that she ever did do that. She looked up at Banzai with a question-y look on her maw,
"Introduce? To who? Her?"
Her head slowly turned to, what was it he had called her..... Shenzi, the female she almost ran into earlier. She nodded slowly but stood at her usual spot at Banzai's side. Her tail wagged, yes, finally! They were going to go look for her mommy!

Shenzi had been staring in jaw dropped silence from the moment Mafa appeared, to the moment Banzai showed up as well.
Snapping out of it, she shut her eyes as if in pain and shook her head fast, one paw lifted to gesture wildly as she spoke. "Wait wait wait..excuse me? We're doing what for this little runt? Finding her mommy?"
Was banzai insane? Ugh..she hated kids..especially female ones. She curled her upper lip and crinkled her nose, peering at Mafa with squinted eyes.
Right. Ed wasn't the only one with lack of brain cells it seemed. Banzai was obviously not thinking straight..

The hyena frowned seeing the sheer disgust on her face. Apparently, he'd have to spell out his plan to her. He began unconciously circling her as he walked, a little bounce to his step. "Jeeze, Shenzi, don't make the kid feel too loved now. Look, it's simple. There aren't that many hyenas in the graveyard, so all we do is look in the spots that do have them and ask around. Or whatever."
He stopped pacing, taking a seat next to her. He held up his paw to cup his mouth and spoke in a hushed tone. "And when we do find her mommy, I bet she'll be more than happy to give us a juicy reward."
Bringing his paw down, he began talking in his normal voice again. "Besides, I bet she's the only pup they have, making her future leader of the clan. I mean, she's alive, isn't she? Come oooooon!"
