Dinobot was one of my all time favorites too. Code of Hero made me really sad! But I never did figure out Transmetal 2 Dinobot, I mean he seemed loyal to Megatron up till Rampage died. Then he seemed like the original dinobot. But how can you clone a transformer using half of a completely different spark? I'm trying to remember how they did it in the Double Dinobot episode, but I can't remember.Edit: Poor Dinobot, had to put up with a lot! Funny picture, click here.

Then he seemed like the original dinobot. But how can you clone a transformer using half of a completely different spark? I'm trying to remember how they did it in the Double Dinobot episode, but I can't remember. I think Dinobot 2 was cloned completly using Dinobot's spark not one half of one and a half of another. I think Rampage's spark was there to override Dinobot's sense of honor. Something that Megatron seemed too preoccupied to remember when Rampage was destroyed because of the overwelming sense of power at the controls of the Nemisis. If my explanation holds water then what I want to know is what Megatron planned to do if Dinobot 2 sided with Rampage. Up untill Dinobot 2, Megatron kept that half a spark as a control to keep Rampage under his thumb. He wouldn't have that if Dinobot 2 side with Rampage. He would have two really powerful warriors that couldn't be killed. ...BW Megatron loved to gamble though.

Maybe that was the purpose of the big generator Megatron used to create Dinobot 2 with transmetal technology. Something that could siphon Dinobot's spark back in a similar way Rhinox was able to retrieve Primal's spark after he blew up.

But the only way Rhinox could get to Primals spark was because the explosion of the alien moon created a rip in transwarp space. Plus Rhinox had to go into the rip to get the spark to follow.

TM2 Dinobot was actually made without a spark. He was cloned using Vox technology to make a TM2 dinobot. Megs did the cloning, so the creature was loyal to it's creator. Later, when Rampage appeared, Megs used an energon scalpel to dissect the spark of protoform X. Placing half of it in Dinobot. Leaving half for Rampage.
When Rampage was utterly destroyed by Depthcharge, the whole of the spark migrated into dinobot, where the entirety of his personality was allowed to open up. As a clone of Dinobot, he regained his honour, and that is why he betrayed Megs in the final hour aboard Nemesis.

Yea, but wasn't it still Rampage's spark in Dinobot? I would think that even though it was a clone the spark would still be Rampage's personality.

Maybe it wasnt the spark, but rather the body! Maybe anyone with a Raptor alt. form has some kind of honour system that kicks in sooner or later.

Playing online I came across quite a few interesting pictures. I don't know who did them, and I feel bad not being able to give proper credit. But they are funny and should be shared. Take a look.    And my favorite. I really hope Recca Hino doesn't mind the slight language. I know he said to keep it clean, and if this is too much then please tell me and I will remove it. But the art alone is awsome, and the attitudes really do fit well. The Brothers
