All right, they'd exhausted one subject, time for another. "So...do you live around here, Layilme?" She inquired politely, sitting down on her haunches, the end of her tail still twitching as an indication of her boundless energy, contained though it was.

She sat as well before replying, a slight shiver running down her spine to discourage a couple of flies that buzzed up from the grass. "In a manner of speaking ..." she said, carefully not looking behind her to where she had come from. For the most part, the caves were hard to see if one didn't know what to look for.

Again there was a nod, "So...kinda?" It was apparent that she was still perplexed, a puzzled look on her face. Phye'li had no idea at all that there were caves here...not that she would have worried about them terribly had she known.

"Mm, you could say that," she replied, relieved that Phye'li seemed to have accepted her answer. She honestly liked the other lioness so far and she didn't want to have to lie. "What about you? I know that you said you were wandering but where do you come from?"

"Oh!" She realized that it was probably rude to ask the information whilst not giving it in return, "I was born near the Pride Lands, but once I got older, I've been exploring other places instead...especially since I met Nogea." Yes, everything in her life had been different since she'd met the adolescent male.

"Ah I see. I've done some wandering myself ... I think I was over that way a little while ago." She wasn't actually sure where she had been born - as her earliest memories were pretty much just wandering about in a non-descript area.

"Really?" She wrinkled her nose, mulling over something, after all, the Pridelands she knew a little bit about. "I spent most of my life there...It's...kind of unexciting...or at least it was to me." In fact, she'd met very few other lions when she'd been young.

"Mm, I'd have to agree with that. Unexciting and very ... big." At least she remembered it as such. And it probably was, seeing as she hadn't met too many other either until she started to range out a bit wider.

"Very." She agreed wholeheartedly with that statement. "It's huge...and open...and terribly boring." There had been nothing within that place that interested Phye'li in the least...save dinner once or twice, which is why she had instead turned to roaming.

Layilme tilted her head up slightly, looking at the sky. Time for another change of subject, perhaps...? Yes, indeed.
With a slightly wicked grin, she turned her attention back to the younger lioness. "Well. Seeing as you're here and all ... how would you like to go hunting?" She had no problem working in tandem and with two, they should be able to take something larger and have enough to share.

She blinked, repeatedly, "Hunting?" A wide grin spread across her maw as she took the lioness's words in. "I'd love too!" It would give her a chance to practice the skills that it took to hunt as a team...something she was already learning with Nogea. Anything to improve after all.

Layilme smiled back. Phye'li may be young and possibly inexperienced ... but there wasn't really a pressing -need- for either of them to hunt. So it would probably end up being more like play ... and not a big deal if they didn't manage to take anything down.
"Well then," she said, getting to her feet with tail swishing and ears flicking a bit. "Shall we?"

The chocolate-pelted femme nodded quickly, her own tail lashing in an almost playful manner. She knew hunting could be a serious business, for that is how she had survived, but now it was just for experience, and something to be done with a new friend.
"Indeed....let's go!" As enthusiastic as she was, she knew to let Layil lead, as Phy did not know her way around this territory.
