Heather looked around, the sound didn't scare her, it only made her laugh abit. She never heard a sound like that, but it did sound kind of funny. She stood up, "Well, ow that you have revieled yourself with your scream, why don't you show yourself in person?!" Heather called out, not knowing which direction the sound came from.

"........O_O;"
"Crap," Paul thought to himself. Trying to sound as forboding as humanly possible, Paul took another deep breath.
"You have violated the sanctity of my domain, little one. These acursed woods are unfit for human scum to wander thru. For your trespass, I sentence you to death."
"Man, I hoped that freaked her out a little," Paul thought.

Heather crossed her arms, "Really?" Heather said, She stood more in the center of the clearing, and looked around, still not seeing anyone, she found this strange, "I've known people to come into these woods a few time before, and yet they always come back after their walk." She looked up, trying to see if she could ifnd someone. "Well?" She said, "I'm still here and Alive."

".......O_O;;"
"Double crap," Paul thought. He had to think fast.
"Uh....well, you have caught me on a particularly bad day. But I'm feeling a little benevolent, so I'll let you go if you make it worth my while."

Heather rased a brow, she had a bad feeling about that. "And what would that be?" She asked, playing along for now.

"Y'know. 'Rockin' the cradle', 'The horizontal mambo', I mean...."SNAP!! "Huh?,"Paul said. "What was that?" SNAP!!!! Paul looked down questionably. "That doesn't sound good." SNAP!!!!!!!! "Holy shi--" CRACK!!!!!!!
The tree branch under him broke. As Paul tumbled to the ground, his leafy camoflauge unraveled away from him. Paul slammed onto the ground, hard and exposed. "Ow," Paul whimpered. As he opened his eyes and looked up, he saw his young interest looking down at him, staring him in the face.

Heather looked at the guy arms crossed, "Hello Mr. Voice of the acursed woods!" Heather said sarcasticly. Then got serious, "What were you doing trying to scare me?!" SHe asked, "And who are you really?"

Paul got up, obviously embarrassed. sweatdrop
Trying to act cool about the situation at hand, Paul dusts off his pants. "I was just trying to have a little fun, but, heck, I'm impressed. You don't scare easily. I respect that."
Extending his hand in defeat, "The name's Paul. Nice to meet you, kid."

Heather continued to stare at him with a frown on her face. Fun? How was scaring kids, 'fun'? She looked at the ground eyes losed as she said, "The name is Heather, not kid." She said and shook his hand.

Paul could obviously see Heather still didn't trust him. Putting his hands behind his back, he started to feel guilt, which was an alien emotion to him.
"Hey," Paul said to her, "hows about I make it up to you, kid...., er Heather? Like get some ice cream, a soda, or something?"

Heather looked at him and rased a brown, "Do I look like I'm five?" She asked. She was still pretty mad that this guy had followed her, spyed on her, and tryed to scare her. "I'm staying here to explore some more." She said and looked deeper into the forest. "I just have this strange feeling that there is something that I need to see." She said. She didn't know what it was, but she was going to find out. She began to walk out of the clearing and head deeper into the forest, as she walked away she said, "Nice meeting you Paul." She said as she waved a bit, "See ya."

"Wait, I should at least accompany you," Paul stated. "A girl like you shouldn't be running around in a dark forest by herself now, should she?" Paul started to follow her out of the clearing. "Besides, I'm headed this way, too. So, I see no reason we can't enjoy each other's company."

"Do what you want." Heather said with a shrug, but she found this somewhat her busness, and felt that the same was for Paul, so she didn't ask what he was looking for or anything. As Heather walked through the woods, she thought she could hear someone else was in here too. But couldn't tell. So she only kept walking.

As Paul and Heather walked deeper into the woods, Paul couldn't shake the feeling that something was there alongside them. He started hearing voices. He wanted to ask Heather if she heard it too, but after the "Forboding Voice" episode, he didn't work up the nerve.
"So....., where are you from," Paul asked, trying to break the silence.
