Ruben nodded, getting up off the bed to get dressed when the other had given him his space. He put the cup down on the bed as he changed, waving his tail once more as he looked around. Maybe he should try calling him.... Wait.. what was his name anyway..? He couldn't ask so he never knew.. oh well.
Folding up the pajama's he thought on this. He'd have to try sometime... He walked to the door and tried to tell him, though all that came out was an awkward croaking noise. Ah well.. Practice will get over that. He just knocked afterwards.

Raelin opened the door and smiled. " Your supposed to finish the tea before trying to speak, your throat is going to be tender to so be carefull."

Ruben blushed, he forgot about the tea. Going back over to his bed he picked it up to drink it again. He smiled back at the other as he walked back, greatfull for all that he had done for him.

" Now i dont want you to over work yourself so start off slowly then work from there okay?" Raelin said righting down a time and day for the other to see him again. " I'll be here."

Ruben nodded, taking the paper and finishing his tea off. He hugged him gently in a way of thanks, and got his coat, getting ready to leave.

Raelin blinked at the hugs and akwardly patted the others back, he wasn't good at this. "try not to be late okay."

Ruben smiled up at him, nodding cheerfully before heading off back to his mother, wondering if his throat would be okay to talk then.

Emmett paced the kitchen he wanted to be up there with his baby but he knew he couldn't be. Raelin was secretive but good at what he did, he got like that from his parents. But Emmett had faith in the young boy so he waited.

Ruben quickly found his mother, and ran to hug him tightly, glad to see him and to show him he was alright. His tail waved happily as he purred gently.

Emmett wrapped Ruben in a hug. " How does your throat feel love? Would you like some tea? Anything?" Emmett asked ready to be at Ru's beck and call.

Ruben smiled softly, thinking on this. "It's.. Fine. Just.. fine." He said softly, in a weak and slightly hoarse voice. It would'nt have been heard if it wasn't just the two of them in the kitchen, But it would build up in time with practice.

Emmett held onto Ruben. His baby could talk, rubbing Ruben sniffled. " You can talk isn't that great love?"

Ruben simply nodded, holding his mother close. He was afraid that he'd hurt his throat by talking more right now, but that was enough. His mother deserved to hear his voice more than anyone. He knew ho much he had worked to find a cure for him.

Emmett gave him one last squeeze. " Let me get you that tea, okay." He said before going to make him another cup. " It'll help." He was so happy that Ruben would finally be able to tell them what he wanted to.

Ruben gave a small giggle, and nodded, moving to the table to sit down. He was just happy that his mother was happy.
