Alana led the way back to the house. The little wand was waved triumphantly as they exited the woods, tromping across the yard and into the house. There was a cocophany of sound and scent, and Nakshidil dashed into the room, weaving in surprise at seeing Raven. "Heya." she said politely. She checked the wand over for scratched and fled back to the kitchen. "Food is in the formal dining room! I made it a buffet!" she carried a stack of plates into the dining room.
"Did you want to call any of the others over?" Alana invited, with a grin. She peeked into the formal dining room, eyes dropping. Tons of food. "We definitely won't be able to eat it all."
The baby ghost made another noise, almost agreeing.

...wow. Waving to Nakkie, and considering helping her with the dishes, Raven smiled slightly to herself, "Actually, maybe I should get Nasir to drive the kids over. It's easier than having them scrounge up dinner on their own. If you'll excuse me for a moment..."
Cell phone. Cell phone-- there it was. Home. "Hello? Hera, can you and the others come over to Alana's for dinner tonight? I got a little tied up on the way home-- yes, that does involve talking to Nasir. Go on. I love you all," Raven rolled her eyes slightly as she hung up. If only they would all pretend to get along...
Considering the huge big everything, Yui gurgled and tried to direct Raven to the dining room. She wanted to see what else was here!

Alana was also calling all of her kids. The food on the table, with a cursory eye, included Lasagnae, Enchiladas, Strawberry crepes, crab, Turkey, ham, barbeque ribs. Mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, green beans. Three different kinds of plain pastas, alfredo sauce, three cheese tomato cheese sauce, meat sauce, macaroni and cheese. "Nakkie? You are insane." she informed her daughter.
The baby ghost cooed, wand fluttering around the table. All the smellies, all the looks! How wonderful! When this happened, there was almost always time by the fire, with stories! The baby ghost liked stories.

Yui cooed a suspciously musical sounding note as she drifted over towards the blue thing. Pretties... there were pretties... Yui could smell different scents, vaguely... flavor.....
"...my, you've certainly been busy, Nakkie," Raven smiled slightly, glancing at the food. "Thank you for preparing such a lavish meal for us."
He still didn't see why Mekt didn't just get his liscence so that the pale boy could be the one having to play chauffeur. Oh well. Whatever. At least he'd get to see Kamil...

The ghost moved closer to the pink wisp, making a noise, curious. He flared, smoked, then went out with a disgruntled noise. Well, there went his display!
Nakshidil smiled. "Well, I enjoy it. And I'm good at it." There wasn't any modesty in her tone, nor pride. She was too frazzled. "Crout said he'd pick up Kael from the garage, and Laertes is gonna stop by the store and get some drinks. Kamil got into the cokes." she pointed at a black-haired adult sitting in the window.
The baby ghost and the adult didn't get along too well. They were eerily alike. As the dancer stood up, the baby ghost spazzed, spinning around Yui. "Is Nasir coming?" he asked gently, almost eagerly.
Alana hid a smile. "I think he has a crush." she informed Raven in a low voice.

Making a suspicious noise which could possibly have been a laugh, Yui spun to keep her gaze on the blue thing while it spun around her. Strange little thing-- big thing, but little thing all the same.
"You certainly are," Raven mused, considering the food. "And yes, Kamil, he is. He's bringing the others over right now, as a matter of fact. He should be here soon."
A crush? That was interesting. Not entirely unexpected either... truth be told. Nasir was the kind of person who would attract a great many-- hopefully he wouldn't break too many hearts...

Kamil felt his stomach clench at the thought of the dark-haired man. "Oh. Well. I'm glad to know he will be." he tried to play it off nonchalantly, slipping out of the room.
The baby ghost spazzed, shooting a little blast of fire after the adult as he left. At Yui's noise, the ghost made one of its own, spinning faster. The silly pink-thing trying to keep up?

Raven shook her head as Kamil left. "I just hope Nasir takes him seriously," she murmured under her breath to Alana.
Trying to follow the blue thing was getting tiring! But Yui had to keep trying. Had to had to had to~!

Alana smiled. "I don't know. Kamil's still pretty young to this world, you know. He's still a child in a lot of ways. I think it's Nasir who would need to worry, if anything happened. He's infatuated now, but you know how people are. Fickle. Especially when they are as... new... as Kamil is. I'm just glad he didn't get involved with someone who wouldn't take things slow. If Nasir is playing with Kamil, at least he didn't jump on him. I'm sure Kamil's made plenty of innocent invitations." she shrugged.
The ghost was getting tired as well. It made a strange noise of exhaustion, but it couldn't give in first! No! Must... keep.... spinning...

"Nasir's the type to be careful only because he knows you and I are friends. It complicates things in his game plan. Normally... well, he's had a string of one night stands he thinks I don't know about," Raven sighed. She still didn't know what she was going to do with that boy. "But in truth, I think he might actually like Kamil-- since he's getting to know him."
Spin... spin... sp... in...... Yui whined and slowed to a stop-- too tired...

The baby ghost made a noise of victory. It had won, the pink blob had lost! He floated over to her, getting closer, almost touching...
Alana smiled. "Well, then good. It's always more fun when it's complicated." she sounded almost gleeful, and lifted a plate, passing it to Raven. "Shall we go ahead and start eating?"

Yui poked the blue thing and scooted back to Raven as fast as she could. Not fair~~~!!!!
"Of course, it is. And sure. Why not?" Raven smiled, taking the proffered plate gratefully.
There was the house. And at least the brats were behaving themselves right now...

The ghost made a protest, following Yui. He floated around raven, making odd noises.
Alana smiled, following raven down the line of food, piling it onto her plate.
Kamil glanced down at his black jeans and white tank top, wondering if he looked too casual. Then he slipped downstairs nervously, running slender fingers through wavy hair.

Yui made a noise suspiciously like a rasberry at the blue thing, hissing as she clung to her wand protectively.
Food. So very much food. So very, very much food. Raven didn't... good god. Lots of food.
Pulling up to the house, Nasir parked and got out, letting the kids tumble out before locking the van, moving to the house to knock on the door.

The baby ghost made a sniffing noise and floated away, no longer interested. It heard more peoples! Oh oh oh more big things! More brothers and sisters and playthings of interest!
More plates were set out by a frazzle Nakshidil, who then disappeared into the kitchen, leaving Kamil to answer the door and let the newcomers in. "Heya!" he greeted cheerfully.
