Wally_West They didn't 'cow' to anything. There was no petition, no massive upheaval of offended people, no threads screaming about Gaia hating on Scientology. They just decided that it wasn't a direction they wanted to take with the character, and considering that the theme of Halloween is alien invasion and not 'let's mock scientology', I say good. The point is to mock Tom Cruise as an individual, not every practicioner of the religion he happens to have. It doesn't matter if you agree with it or not. I believe there was a thread about it. Sasha told me about it. Unfortunately I can't say much else because I don't want to get her in any trouble in case anyone high reads this. As far as I had seen, the Ron Bruise NPC didn't even have much mention of Scientology in his profile or his posts and certain people were complaing the point of the character was to mock the "religion." Tom Cruise is a Scientologist. He is very proud about it and sometimes very vocal about it. I don't see how you can parody him fully without mentioning it. I'll drop this because I don't cause trouble and I like you Wally. Sorry I got riled up.
