yes, I know what you mean. they do work together a lot. thanks, that strategy works well on the chick with the whip. which missions do you have left besides that one? I may be able to help you and conversely, I am going to see which I still have left so maybe you can give me some tips as well.
anyone else who reads this thread feel free to post.

oh well, two people still constitiutes a conversation.
dude, you just hit the mark right there. I have been saying that ever since I played the game. how cool would a versus mode be in ninja gaiden? I wish I could play that to beat up on my friends. what kind of modes do you think there would be?

well they should make a regular versus for online and against a friend like you know two player. Ummm there might be like a survival mode or something that would be cool. and also they should make like story mode co-op that would be cool. u could like both do the izuna drop and like that would be awesome

I agree but I dont know how exactly they would come up with a story if both characters play as hayabusa in co-op. I wouldnt want to play as the other ones, like ayane or rachel. plus the game would have ot be tweaked cause I think the bosses would be too easy for two full strength Ryus.

i see where you r coming from with the bosses but what if instead of having two really strong ryus there was 1 ru and the other was like hayate or ein or rachel or ayane or someone. but if there were two ryus then they might add extra guys like in the missiond where u dont fight just the boss but little guys as well

yeah but if ein or rachel wasnt as strong as Ryu then I know there would be some irritated co op players out there and i do agree to an extent. it isnt fair if one player is significantly better than another, just because it unbalances the game (the better player has to play as the worse character). still, it would be neat. it sure would be helpfulin some of those missions to have a second player! biggrin

yeah but think some of the less ummmm able charecters that arnt as strong as ryu might get better weapons or something idk. but yes it would be good to have another player sometimes

I want a versus mode so bad so I could whipup on my friends who think they can beat me, because I know they cant. also, it would be easier to make a versus mode (maybe) than a co op. then you could put in characters from the other DOA games.

ya a versus mode would be awesome. i got a ot of friends who cant even beat the hard mode but they think that they can beat me.

yeah, what is the deal with that? oh well. if only there was a versus mode to put them in their place. of course, microsoft would certainly make it online as well, with leaderboards and stuff. that would also be cool.

I'd like to offer an argument against fighting Alma, Nicchae, and Istaros...
Alma (the creepy, pink one)
- For the most part, stay back; chances are she'll come to you with her little rush. Dodge and rock a Flying Swallow; be careful, you *will* miss sometimes. But anyway, any chance you get, do a Flying Swallow as it'll knock her down so you can hit her with a Blade of Nirtti.
If Alma starts throwing stuff, roll and jump. Be wary; sometimes a projectile will aim for wear you're going as opposed to where you are.
Awakened Alma (same as above except ultra-creepy)
- Sorry, can't help you with that one. However, I can tell you that an Annihilating Gleam will rip her in half... *if* timed correctly when she's on the ground.
Nicchae (the creepy purple one with wings)
- All Nicchae is is a stronger Alma with bad defense. When fighting Alma and Nichhae in conjuction, if you manage to catch both with a Blade of Nirrti (it's friggin hilarious), Nicchae will take more damage. Henceforth, in that sense she's actually easier than Alma. Follow the same strategy for Alma for the most part.
Oh, don't bother using the Flawlessness on Nicchae. Conversely, while the UF will easily crack Alma's skull (or whatever is in that head of her's now), Nicchae will basically take the blows and laugh.
Ishtaros (the creepy yet incredibly sexy turquoise one with the arm-whip)
- Contrary to popular beleif, Ishtaros is actually the easiest of the three. Stay on her and chances are she'll use her little swipe to hook kick combo. Block the first hit then roll cancel under the kick. The second you get out of the roll, rock a Dragon Tear. If she goes airborne, charge up an Annihilating Gleam as it has the best chance of hitting. 3nodding Stay on your toes and you'll be surprised how quick she dies.
