Yaku's eyes swept over the various objects with mild interest. Several of these items would be more than useful to one like himself. His attention was called to a small box high up on a shelf. Walking over to the shelf, he reached up and pulled the box off. Taking a deep breath he inspected it closely. It was seamless and the lock lacked a keyhole. Running his finger over the simple lock he arched a brow and smirked. He wasn't on the path to becoming a rogue for nothing. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a small pick. Muttering a spell to himself, he pressed the tip of the pick on the lock. He heard the lock spring open and he looked up at Uzi.
"Problem one solved," he smirked softly. He flipped the lid open and lifted up the peculiar ball where the darkness still swirled, waiting to be released. Examining it for a moment, he tossed it over to Uzi. "What do you make of that?"

Uzi caught it and looked it over with a frown.
"It's been bound. By a Druid by the looks of things. I should be able to break it, though it won't be easy. They are made to only be broken by the maker. She sighed and held it up to the small ammount of light.
Mecca watched the two of them from the shadows of the doorway. Fastening his shirt in the darkness of the hall. He was probably asking for trouble confronting them, but if they knew what that was then they might be able to help Covet.
"May I help you?" He asked smoothly stepping out into his shop and looking them over with his cold eyes.

Yaku watched Uzi examine it and flicked an ear towards the new male voice. He turned slightly to face the crimson shu and a cold smirk slipped over his lips. Seemed they had been caught in the act, though the other shu's calm demeanor intrigued him. They were, after all, trespassing and meddling with things he most obviously knew were not meant to be meddled with. Closing the box with a loud snap, Yaku reached out to put it down.
"My partner and I are interested in this peculiar ball you have. Might I inquire as to how much you would wish to sell it for?" he asked, keeping his blank eyes on the other and slipping his hands casually into his pockets.

Uzi turned at the new voice and smiled at the owner of the shop. Not bad she thought with a smirk. She could tell by his aura that he was not their usual shu.
She nodded at Yaku's request and remained silent. Her arms folded.
Mecca ran his cool eyes over the pair of them. He could tell immediatly they were not to be messed with. Especially the male one.
"First maybe you might tell me why you want it?" He asked running his fingers through his disheveled hair.
He disliked not appearing his best for people. Even thieves.

Taking a deep breath, Yaku let it out slowly. Why couldn't they ever just take the offer and let things be? Glancing at Uzi, his smirk deepened as he returned his eyes to the other.
"We want it so we create mass mayhem and panic," he smirked, leaving it up to him if he would believe him or not. "But seriously, name your price and I will be glad to relieve you of such an item."

Mecca watched them carefully and leant against a chair.
"Fine." He said with a small shrug. Who was he to argue with that. A smirk played across his lips at the offer.
"Undo whatever it is that has done to my friend and you may have it. That is my price."
Uzi watched him. Why couldn't they just be ignorant. Remaining the silent partner she turned her eyes back to Yaku to see if he would accept or not. Surely this guy would not just let them take it for that small a price.

Yaku considered him for a long moment. He had rather enjoyed the game of torture they had been playing with the young girl. But of course, releasing her of this magic did not mean they had to stop necessarily. Peering at the other male from under the brim of his hat for a moment, he turned his eyes to Uzi to read her expression.
"Deal," he smirked, swinging his head back towards Mecca.

Uzi looked from Yaku to the male and smiled.
"For that you will be needing me. Show me where she is and I'll release her. If you tell me how to release the spell." She handed the ball to Yaku and took a step towards Mecca. "Upstairs right?" She sighed pushing past him.
Mecca nodded to the woman and glared as she brushed past him. Her barging irritated him, though he remained calm.
"May I ask what kind of mayhem?" He asked the male with a smirk as they climbed the stairs. "I'm intrigued as to what it is the magic does."

Yaku took the ball from Uzi and brought up the rear as they made their way to the emotionally invalid. He arched a brow at the shu's question and smirked. So he had believed him and still he did not care as long as his friend was released. Very intriguing. For all he knew, shu could be killed because of this bit of magic. And if things went according to plan, things might just get that crazy, he thought with a malicious grin.
"It causes an individual to live their deepest fears, eventually driving them mad," he smirked. "Though it seems to have had a different effect on your friend."

Uzi ignored the conversation. Allowing Yaku to fill the crimson Shu in. Pushing open the door to a rather nice bedroom she crossed over to the sleeping girl that lay in the bed.
'friend' right. She thought with a smirk as she placed a hand on the girl's forehead.
Mecca nodded. A powerful tool, one that might have deeply appealed to him had he not been so worried about Covet. It would have got him a pretty penny.
"How so?" He asked the male. "Why are her reactions different? Because she has been supressing the symptoms? Covering for them?"

"Because she absorbed some of it. My associate says that she somehow absorbed some sort of residue from the darkness. Very interesting reactions," he smirked, not caring that he was letting on that they had been watching her closely.
Covet's eyes flew open at the feel of a hand being pressed to her forehead and she blinked in surprise to see the lilac shu she had met in the bar not long ago.
"Mecca?" she called out, unsure of what was going on when she heard an unfamiliar male voice speaking in the room.

Mecca watched them both and breathed in trhough his nose as the male spoke.
"I see." He said, anxious to get this over with and these idiots out of his house.
"I'm here." He said to Covet, looking over at her. "They are going to make you well."
Uzi smirked, she could feel the ice on his voice and wondered how he had managed to get caught up with the female. Otherwise she would have placed him in the same basket as Yaku and herself.
Muttering some words she released Covet of the residue easy enough. Absorbing it back into her black soul and leaving the girl drained, yet clean.
"Done." She remarked, standing straight and turning to face Mecca. "All sorted." She said with a false smile.

Covet relaxed when she heard Mecca's voice and closed her eyes. She could feel whatever had been plaguing her physically slip through her body and into the palm of the woman standing over her. When it was over, she couldn't even open her eyes, but she couldn't allow herself to sleep as long as there were others in the room so she lay silently and listened.
The male's reaction was mildly satisfactory. It seemed that despite his being a kindred spirit made of ice towards his fellow shus, this particular girl had managed to get to him. Very interesting indeed, he thought as he regarded her. He had not been mistaken to think she held a certain power over others, a power that could easily be manipulated to benefit his and Uzi's brand of fun. Yaku smirked at Uzi's false cheeriness and turned expectantly to Mecca.
"Now if you could tell my associate how she might be able to open this?" he said, lifting the ball from his pocket.

Mecca looked to them both.
"Outside." He said turning and leaving the room. He did not want them unleashing whatever it was in the house."
He opened the door and stood on the steps in the cold night air. His attention did not miss the large creature sat at the bottom. He smirked. It was rather magnificent.

Yaku followed him through the house and stepped out onto the steps, again reaching up to make sure the sea breeze would not carry his hat off to the sea. Satisfied it was secure he reached out and handed the ball to Uzi. He had rather hoped the magic would be released in the home of light, but Cephei would be just as well, he thought with a smirk.
