Sybil thought for a moment. She had white pants, but not any shorts. "I have a tank top with little yellow flowers at the bottom. But I don't have white shorts. Momma says they get dirty too fast. Hey! I betcha Momma would get me some!" she said, and nodded emphatically.

Before Onii could say anything, she shouted, "MOOOOMMMMAAA!!!" in a searching tone.

Rime stood up and was on her way before the cry died down, and she blithely ignored the glares and mutters of "control your children" as she found the aisle they were down.

"Sybil, what have I told you about the indoor voice?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

Sybil looked sheepish, and scuffed her foot a bit as she responded, "To use it when we're inside... But!" she said, and held out the paint.

"This is Onii! She's going to help me make a dinosaur costume of my own! Do I have any white shorts? I have the flower shirt!" she said, and Rime raised her eyes and shook her head.

"Hello, Onii, my name is Rime. Nice to meet you, dear, thank you for helping my little one. Did you need some help?" she asked, then answered Sybil, who was now looking like she burst out with the question again, "No, you have no white shorts. But, if you need them so badly, I can go buy some, and tank top that isn't your flower tank."

Truthfully, she didn't mind homemade costumes, in fact, preferred them. But, it also didn't hurt to look in the shops.

Rime's eyebrows flew up, but she quickly recovered, and laughed. "That sounds like a fine idea. What have you got so far?" she asked, looking with interest at the items in the girls' arms.

Sybil held up the paint jars again, looking a bit annoyed that Rime hadn't noticed them the first time. "Paint! And glitter, and spikes!" she said, grinning.

Rime nodded, and thought for a moment. "Will you wear your sandals? We can make you some claws, too, or find some here. Are you sure you won't get cold in this? Hmm... I'm glad the party is always indoors." she worried the last part out loud, but it was more directed at herself.

"Yeah, my sandals! And how will we make claws?" Sybil asked, looking at Onii. It seemed she trusted Onii's cleverness.

Sybil looked curiously at the press on nails, and smiled. She didn't have long nails like Rime, but she thought with those, she'd look much more grown up.

"I'm gonna be a pretty dinosaur!" she stated, smiling up at Rime, who smiled back, then looked curiously at Onii.

"And what are you planning on being, Onii?" Rime asked her. She didn't see anything that she carried that would be for her own costume. "Did you want help getting anything?" she asked. "Since you helped Sybil, we could help you with yours," she continued.

Sybil nodded, and bounced enthusiastically, almost dropping the paint jars, which Rime rescued just before they slipped free. "Yeah, yeah! What's Onii gonna be? Can we help?" she asked.

Sybil frowned thoughtfully, then asked, "What's a... Dom-in-ticks?"

Rime stepped in quickly before Onii could give a more detailed answer. "It's a woman who dresses in leather clothing, and likes to be in charge of people. Aren't you a little young for that, Onii?" she asked, looking a bit concerned.

But then again, Onii was a demoness. Banished, but not all of the banished children were "angels" anymore than all the angels were "devils." She considered the options Onii had given. With her preoccupation with looking attractive...

"Well, in any case, perhaps you should go with one of your other choices. Nurse, perhaps? I think we can make you into an attractive nurse," she said with a smile.

Sybil still wasn't quite sure what a dominatrix was, but she cheered up when Rime suggested the nurse costume. "You'll get a step-a-scope, too! Neat!" she said, completely (and thankfully) missing the point.

Sybil nodded enthusiastically, grinning up at Onii. "Okay, Onii! I'll find the best one!" she promised, and ran away, looking for a nurse outfit.

She knew nurses wore white, so she started going to each white costume she could find. But ghosts weren't nurses, and neither were greek goddesses. Even if both seemed to show a lot of skin.

So she stopped, frowning, thinking of what else nurses had. Needles. And bandaids. And those cold things that listened to your heart. She looked around for those, but didn't see any outfits that had things like that.

She had to find one, she'd promised Onii!

Then, her eyes lit on an object in a section of props. It was the cold thing! She ran over and scooped it up with a grin. It wasn't the whole thing, but it was a start!

Then she began to think. They'd made her outfit out of parts, couldn't they make a better nurse outfit by doing the same thing?

She ran back to her mom and Onii, holding up the stethascope. "I didn't find one yet, but I found this!" she said, holding out the object to them.

Sybil furrowed her brow lightly as she was patted on the head. She wasn't sure she liked that... but she was being praised for bringing the cold thing! So she decided it wasn't too bad... this time.

"Okay! Uhm... What does a nurse hat look like?" she asked, hoping she wasn't supposed to already know this.

Rime looked on, deciding to keep an eye on the girls, but from a distance. They were having fun, after all.

"Ohh... I think I know what you mean. I think I saw some before, but I didn't know what they were!" she said, and jogged a couple of aisles down to where she'd found the stethoscope. Sure enough, there were a couple of squarish hats with red plus signs on them!

Nurse hats! Looks like there's two kinds... but I like this one better, she thought, and grabbed the one that had the fatter plus sign on it. She liked it because it stood out more.

"I found it, Onii! ...Ooh, what's that for?" she asked, spotting the atrocity in the succubi's hands.

Sybil frowned, confused. All the way to Hell? Then she realized that it must be like Avery and his real brother, before the older brother came down from Heaven to be here. Onii's brother just hadn't come up, yet.

Pleased she'd figured it out, she beamed and held out the nurses hat proudly. "Uh-huh! It's white, and it's got a big red plus on the front!" she said excitedly.

The little half-breed looked at what they had, and pictured it on Onii. "We got the hat, and the step-o-scope, and you have a shirt and skirt... What about shoes! You can't go barefoot!" she said, laughing. Her tail was writhing back and forth behind her to keep balance as she danced from foot to foot.
