Hioro sighed, blinking once. "You don't have to rub it in. I understand that I'm clumsy!" He whined, almost pouting like a small child. His aqua-marine eyes seemed adjictated, and a little nervous too. But then again, Hiro hadn't been himself lately. Ever since he heard the news about his childhood friend, he-- He was jealous. He looked away, his stare towards the floor now as he clenched his fists. No, he wouldn't let his anger go. he would just bottle his emotions up... and throw the bottle away.
"The water is a healing spring... it'll take care of your knee..." Hiro said, still starting at the floor. He noticed a faint glow on the rocks, blinking once or twice. Looking back at the spring, which had lit the room with it's glowing waters, it had dimmed considerably. "Hey, look!" Hiro chimed, pointing at the ceiling, which gave off faint glows in random places. The same thing seemed to happen to the walls, and the ground as well. Since the cave was so dark, it almost seemed like the night sky. However... compared to the real sky, this was nothing. This place, though... was pretty.
Hiro's pants quickly dried off as affect of the rocks, and he walked over and slipped his shirt back on, tying his hoodie around his waist. He plopped on the ground, itting cross-legged as he stared at the ceiling. It always seemd to bring back... memories. Sad memories...
And when it was too dark to see... Hiro cried.

Marinea watched as the cieling and walls began to glow in various spots, and become as Hiro had said like the night sky. "oh wow..." she said as her eyes widen with amazement and a smile spread across her face. She spun around slowly always looking upward. She spun and spun untill she heard a cry.
Her head turned in the direction the cry had come from and she saw Hiro. Her smile faded and she walked over to him. "hey, what's wrong?" she asked softly, as she knelt down in front of him. She hadn't known him very long, and she hoped even in that short time he'd trust her enough to let her in and help in anyway she could. She had seen too much sadness in her lifetime and she hated it, she wanted more than anything in the world for people to be happy.

Lelah blinked as the room began to glow, her pupil's trying to get use to the sudden difference in light.The glow seemed to illuminate the wings on Marinea and Hiro's cat ears.She had somehow overlooked them until now and her mouth dropped open."..are those real?"She whispered to herself, not knowing if they had even heard her.And even if they had, they would probably have no clue what she was speaking about.She always seemed to blurt things out without explaining.
Lelah watched with a smirk on her face as Marinea began to spin around, and Hiro quietly watched the ceiling."Okay.."As the glow faded, Lelah attempted to walk forward but stumbled around slightly.Faintly, she heard crying and then Marinea talking.
Being to far away, Lelah struggled forward.Along the way to get closer, she stubbed her toes against rocks, almost fell into the water, and tripped once again.She had muttered the words."Too...dark."
Her trip over a rock caused her to lung forward, and flop down near Hiro.Crawling on all fours she gave a pant and sat next to Hiro."Dude.Are you...crying?"Her voice was confused.Why was he crying, what could a beautiful glow cause to make him sad?

"G-gah!" Hiro gasped, but covered his mouth quickly. He then quickly wiped his tears, his once cerulean eyes now a dark blue, as they usually were when he was sad. He couldn't believe that he was caught, for all he did was sniffle. Marinea must have pretty acute hearing Hiro thought silently. His eyes quickly changed back to it's aquamarine color and he smiled. He shook his head, replying quielty, "Don't worry, nothing's wrong."
Hiro didn't enjoy it to much when people got too involved. Of course, he was a hard person to have open up to... in fact, the only one he ever talked to was Hitomi.. but...
Hiro shook his head, trying not to dwell on his memories of Hitomi. "Naw... I'm not crying!" Hiro replied to Lelah. He gave a big smile to the both of them, and asked, "Well, what do you think? Pretty, isn't it?"

Marinea wasn't convinced that everything was fine, she could tell, but she decided not to press the subject. If he didn't want to talk about it, than that was that; she couldn't force him. She put on a smile, as he asked what they thought. "it's wonderful" she said looking around again at the glow of the stones "truly beautiful" she added as if half in a daze, as she stared at the walls.

Lelah laughed and nodded her head.He obviously was crying, though it was very faint, but she figured if he wanted to change the subject, then she would too!
Lelah had now popped up from her spot and her eyes began to slowly bounce from rock to rock, watching the colors dim then brighten up again.Chuckling, she turned her head to the two."Ok, so this place isn't just a dusty old cave!"As they were now visible, Lelah began to stare at Hiro's ears, then flicked over to Marinea's wings."Eh, what's up with the costumes?"Lelah had never come across people with these 'attributes', so was just assuming they were fake.

Hiro smiled at both Marinea's and Lelah's comments about the cave. It really was pretty. His neko tail swished back and forth, and he looked back at Lelah as he was asked about... costumes? "Myah, costumes? What costumes?" His ears twitched, his aqua-marine eyes blinking once or twice. "I'm not wearing a costume? Is it Halloween?" He asked densely, curiousity in his voice.
"Marinea, are you wearing a costume?" He asked questioningly.

"w-what do you mean?W-what are you talking about? " Marinea asked looking back and forth between the two of them.
'they can't be talking about my wings, no one's supposed to be able to see them unless they're powerful magic users.. ' Marinea thought in a panic.
"you can see my wings can't you..? " Marinea asked as her head dropped down as she stared at the ground "no it's not a costume; But nobody's supposed to see them either, unless you two are powerful magic users." she said looking up slightly, neither of them seemed to be, yet she didn't know a whole lot about them to begin with.
"I developed a spell to hide them.. so i could live amoungst humans peacefully, since i couldn't go back home....." she said trailing off, not really wanting to explain. "I must have become far too excited and the spell broke.. that's one glitch in my spell i have to work on.. " she said quickly to avoid subjects she wished to keep hidden.

Lelah cocked her head curiously.She was now even more confused.After giving an awkward laugh, Lelah looked over at Hiro."I....well your ears?They..they're cat ears!"Her eye balls suddenly shot open.Ok so she now just realized that there was a possibility that they were real.She was alittle slow.Not in the sense that she was stupid!Rather...Lelah was not so aware of certain things in her surroundings.Suddenly she jumped up and latched onto Hiro's ears.Lelah thumb on one side and index finger on the other.Slowly she began to wiggle, bob, and flip them around.
As she heard Marinea talk about powerful magic users she got distracted.Out of no where, she jumped up, put her hands on her hips, raised her shoulders up and proclaimed."Ooh!I can talk to animals and stuff!"Once realizing how stupid that sounded her shoulders sunk, her head tilted, and she got a confused look on her face."Does that make me a powerful magic user......?"

Hiro smiled as he looked from Marinea to Lelah. Interesting people indeed. He gave his boyish smile, not directly at anyone. He yawned, instantly feeling his ears being played with. He gave a small giggle, his ears very sensitive and ticklish. He then wondered why Marinea would want to hide her wings to blend in with humans. Hiro had cat ears and a tail, but he didn't want to blend with people. He wanted to stand out and not be something he wasn't.
"Why do you want to blend in? Why be something your not when you're just fine?" He asked curiously. "I'm proud being a neko! Having fuzzy kitty ears gets me pointed at a lot, and the occasional scowl makes me sad, but I just tell myself that they're just jealous that they aren't sporting lovable ears!" He gave a curious poke to Marinea's wings. They were really pretty and sparly, and they made Hiro's eyes widen. He instatly turned into a brown kitten with white paws, ear tips, and belly. He rolled onto his back, batting at Marinea's wings playfully. "Your wings are vewy pwetty!" He said, his voice much more small and much more adorable.
His white tail swished back and forth, and he looked up at Lelah, blinking. "I would say powerful! I don't do much. I'm a big slacker unless motivated." He started playing with Marinea's wings again, being careful not to damage them. His small pink nose twitched as he was swiped in the nose with the wing, his aqua eyes giving a blink. "Myahh..." He yawned, tired from all the jumping and crazy running.

Marinea listend to Hiro and thought about what he'd asked. Why did she want to hide her wings? She really didn't know.
"I guess when i was younger i was afraid of how people would treat me, and what they'd think of me. I was new to the human realm, and i was always told that humans didn't believe in fairies and i jumped to conclusions that maybe they'd just take me for a crazy person or something. I hid so much it just became habit " she said trying her best to explain her reasons for what she did.
She watched as he played with her wings in the form of a brown kitten, she laughed happily and smiled. "Thank you " she said smiling at him.
Marinea shook her head toward Lelah. "That's an amazing ability, but to be able to see my wings, when they're hidden, you'd have to be a master of one or more types of elemental magic " she said explaining this as well, watching once more as Hiro continued to play with her wings.

Lelah watched as Hiro transformed into a kitten and began to swat at Marinea's wings.A large smile appeared on her face as she shook her head slightly.It was rather funny if you thought about it.A boy, with cat ears and a tail, transforming into a kitten with a liking of his normal self, and him swatting at wings that were suppose to be hidden but seen by the cat boy and herself, a girl that could talk to animals.Ah, how strange her life just became!
As Hiro yawned and pronounced Myahh, Lelah's hands cupped slightly around her mouth and she let out an."Awww!"She couldn't help it!She absolutely loved kittens, and though he really was a boy...he was a kitten at that moment!
Out of reflex, she shuffled over and scooped up Hiro.She then flopped down and crossed her legs, placing the kitten in her lap.It occurred to her that once he was in normal form, this might make for awkward conversation.But he was just so cute!
Head popping up to Marinea, Lelah shrugged."Huh, well I don't recall me having any element powers...weird!"

Hiro gave a content purr, closing his cerulean eyes, his small fore-paws scratching his head. He gave another yawn, flopping to the side in Lelah's lap, curling up. His small tail swished back and forth contently. "I like being cuddled." He said in his kitten voice. Of course, he was much more loved while he was a kitten, and Hiro loved attention. His tiny pink nose gave a wiggle, and his soft ears a twitch. His tail stopped moving, and his purring stopped.
Hiro fell asleep! He was so comfortable in Lelah's lap, as he would be in anyone's lap, and he was so tired from running and jumping around. His jealouss feelings and worry from earlier melted away, and he was happy with his new friends.

Marinea sat down facing the two of them. She closed her eyes and began to concentrate on making her wings fade from view again, to her it just wasn't normal to have them visible that's what happens when something becomes a force of habit. Slowly they began to fade untill they were completely invisible.
"much better" she murmered under her breath as she opened her eyes, a slight smile appearing on her face as she watched Hiro fell asleep in Lelah's lap.
"he's so cute, don't you think?" she asked in a whispered tone toward Lelah, not wanting to wake the now sleeping Hiro.
' what an intresting day this has turned out to be so far' Marinea thought to herself as she waited for an answer.

Violet wandered through the caves, her ankle protestign very little as she stepped lightly. She had flown fast and far after her fall near the old burned-down lab and was now pantign form using her wings so much. She let out a long breath and touched the wall to her right, amazed she had found this place.
Well, this is definitely somewhere I want to visit everyday. Violet whistled to see how much the caves echoed and smiled a little evilly when her whistle came back. She began saying odd little phrases from books and whistling between each one, trying to see if anyone would hear her in the caverns. A full, genuine laugh escaped from Violet as she continued with her shouts and whistles, the game becoming very fun.
"I'm gonna get in so much trouble if I scare someone. Oh well, they'll live." Violet gave a long whistle that grew in volume then got quieter, a tiny squeal emitting from the girl as it came back just the same.
