SweetKanashimi alright, so heres the situation: im bi, but i only like homosexuals. now obviously, being a girl, that means i can only get into lesbian relationships b/c a gay guy wouldnt want a girl. now then, im also having some confusion on whether i want to be a girl or not. so here are my options: a) lead my life as a lesbian b) get a sex change and lead my life as a gay man..... i realize how confusing this can get.......... I think you would do the sex change out of the wrong aims. Sex change isn't something that should be decided lightly, it's not like you can switch back easily like here on gaia. You definitely shouldn't do it if you feel like you want a gay guy as friend but only if you feel like a guy yourself inside and do think you wouldn't become happy at all with your female body. Also at least over here in austria you can't do it before you turned 25 and you need to realize that it needs a long time for preperation, like living as male already for a while before they even start giving you hormones as preperation for the operation. Besides that it's quite expensive, too. I know a bit about it because I tried to get informations for my own. I know for quite a while that I'm a female stuck in a male body, but I've aranged with it now. I guess I can be happy with my male body too but it won't change what I am anyway, what I feel and how I act.

Heh.. my brother wants one. It's a huge thing. It really ******** me up when I heard that my brother wanted it. Considering he's a straight guy. But with him, it's something that's deeper than what seems to be for you. I wouldn't if I were you, homophobia's easier to deal with if your a chick I think, and your a girl and it's what you are. If there's any doubt in your mind about this then you really really shouldn't. Plus, lesbians are so much cooler than gays XD. But anyway, hope I've helped.

ok, well i suppose i didnt quite express my self as i should have sweatdrop ...i dont completely feel comfortable in a womans body... but im still not completely sure. btw, im only beginning to consider this. i wouldnt dream of taking action any time soon. besides, im 14... but maybe if im already feeling strange about my gender, its prolly a decent sign that being female isnt right for me. idk for sure right now, and i definately wouldnt take action w/o being 100% sure. but i disagree with some of u guys, i think being a gay guy would be cooler and make me more comfortable. heart and besides...actually right now im not completely sure i like girls... but i know i dont like straight guys. xd

I think everybody goes through this a bit. I did. ^^; But now I've just come to see as being overly masculine...aka being a tomboy. But seriously think about it one of these days, like just sit in your room thinking about it. Thats how I figured everything out. But most of all you just need to relax and not worry that much about it. If it turns out that you would feel more comfertable in a male body, then go ahead. But think about it first, dont make a rash decsion. And yes I know your still 14, but age wont stop you from deciding NOW and doing it LATER. *huggles* you can always PM, email, and IM me if you need to talk about. ^^

And yes I know your still 14, but age wont stop you from deciding NOW and doing it LATER. *huggles* you can always PM, email, and IM me if you need to talk about. ^^ well u see, for me its not an issue of being masculine or feminine, its just i dont feel right in my body. and actually i have seriously just taken time to dwell on the subject, although not nearly enough to make an educated decision, especially being 14. i think beginning to consider this now is good for me because then i have many years to think this over instead of stressing out about it and possibly making a decision that i may or may not regret. i am definitely not deciding now what i will do or not do 4 years down the road, im simply trying to gain more knowledge of the possibilities and also to see if my reasoning is justified. i know that no one can tell me what my feelings mean for sure, but gaining other peoples insight helps me to look at this at many different angles.

screw it...i think ive finally figured things out. and it has nothing to do with not being attracted to hetrosexual ppl. i think im gonna stay a girl. my mind may change when i get older, but at least for now im satisfied with being a girl. 3nodding .............................. crying

you guys are right though...and besides, there are more pressing issues i need to deal with that affect me now and ultimately could affect my decision if im still thinking about this when i get older. i really need to accept myself as a person before i can realize if i am comfortable or not being a woman...that might have been where a lot of this insecurity with my gender is/was coming from. damn low self-confidence. stare
