reagun ban No. It means expert. However, you use words that you don't understand all the time, you don't actually care what they mean, you just care hwo they make you sound. Expert? Hmmm... Websters has it listed as a syn. but it also says highly skilled, which is what I would apply to someone who is in their intermediate studies. This may be bias as Emerald Dragon Reiki calls one who has their second attunement an Adept.

Unfortunatly Vox, sometimes we are blinded by the fact that we have learned, rather than acknowledge what we still have to learn a lot.
After nearing 9 years, I still do not want to be called a teacher.
I wouldn't leave.
After all, you said you were free to answer questions. And they are questioning.

Nuri After all, you said you were free to answer questions. And they are questioning. True enough for that. Mine include: Are you a P-Celt or a Q-Celt? Are you a Celt by Taghlach, Clann or Muintir- and who extended rights to you? How can you be a Priestess of their gods when it is a semi-closed Tradition? So... you didn't come here to learn and resolve your fluffy issues? Reagun's include: How can someone serve a people they do not answer to? What path? You think there's one type of shaman? -And his challenge: Ni dóigh liom go bfhuil tú i'd cealt aon saghas ceartaigh dom led thuil Reagun>> Just my bias then.

"Ni dóigh liom go bfhuil tú i'd cealt aon saghas ceartaigh dom led thuil "
What does this mean? I tried looking it up but google failed me and I seem to be having trouble finding a free translator. Perhaps someone could point me in the right direction?

blindfaith^_^ "Ni dóigh liom go bfhuil tú i'd cealt aon saghas ceartaigh dom led thuil " What does this mean? I tried looking it up but google failed me and I seem to be having trouble finding a free translator. Perhaps someone could point me in the right direction? It just means "I don't think that you're a celt of any type, please (to be interpretted as an polite order) correct me." It is in the form of a haiku because I was feeling witty. It is a bardic challenge. I have some bardic training, not under OBOD, but it is bardic none the less. Since she claims to have had training under OBOD, she is obliged to meet my challenge.

Welcome to PFRC Vox...if you're still here that is.
Here is how this guild works, in generel.
You are dealing with a fairly large group of people around here who know what a Druid (amongst other things) REALLY is, as opposed to what books from Borders will tell you it is.
All things considered, people here are fairly polite and extremely direct. If you say "I'm an "X"...chances are people here will know what an "X" has been in a historical manor, and what is reuired to be an "X", or know where the information is if they don't know right off the back. If what you say "X" is dosen't match watch "X" is in the historical/theolgoical sense...well, they will let you know. Quickly.
I say this from personal expierence. I also got corrected in a very quick and direct manor about some of my own beliefs.
Do yourself a favor and sit in front of the firing squad and here what everyone has to say. You will probably come out the wiser for it.

reagun ban Drop the celtic, drop the dragon and drop the k on magic.
I'd like to drop something big and heavy on D.J. Conway, but the defense of "she needed killing" only works in Texas.

I am not a master On the "expert versus master" debate, I would like to mention that although I've studied magic, mysticism, and the occult for over thirty years and have practiced Norse galdhr and seidhr magic since 1987, I'm by no means a master of my craft. In fact, I consider myself a journeyman shaman at best and believe that anyone under the age of sixty who has not spent most of their adult life in the study of their craft and yet call themselves a "master" is either a fool, a charlatan, or both.
