I was dragged into seeing Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo after watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (it had it's flaws, but it was still a charming movie). Words cannot describe how terrible this flick is. I just... I can't... it hurt my soul. Every joke that wasn't taken from the first one was either a gay joke, or a "LOL ASIANS HAVE SMALL PENISES LOL" joke. Thank God I didn't pay for it. Avoid it like the plague.

Hoshiz, let's see.
Shaun of the Dead > Dawn of the Dead There was a lot more character development. Some people thought the intro was a little prolonged, but I enjoyed it. It emphasized the storyline later on in the movie, rather than jump straight into the gore and guts without any strong attachment to the characters.
Batman Begins It was alright. Katie Holmes seemed a little too young to play the part of Rachel Dawes. It also took me bit to figure out that this movie was not connected to any of the previous Batman series [which I grew up to]. However, it's certainly more modernized in terms of storyline, cinematics, wardrobe, etc. Although, who's to say we won't be thinking that it'll just be like the old Batman series in 10 years from now?
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy For some astranged reason, I've only gone as far as the end of "The Restaurant at the End of the Galaxy" with the book. I blame lack of time and dedication. Nonetheless, I did watch the movie. Luckily, it was strictly based on the first section of the book [5 sections in total to the novel]. Now, this movie was not as great as I had hoped. Alas, like most novel-to-motion-picture movies, they never are as precise in the details. The movie was rearranged in several areas, and even manipulated in details. Marvin was great--although not as hilarious as in the novel. The ending was a bit of a downer, but not too horendous.
Equilibrium I liked this movie--It featured Christian Bale [prior to Batman Begins]. It certainly has that take on George Orwell's "1984." I actually thought it was, untill I saw the credits. XD
Crash Another movie I liked, mainly for its storyline. I did slightly get irritated at some points how it seemed as if every action can be translated as being racist, but it did have a great perspective on misunderstandings between parties.
Cry Wolf There were quite a few bad reviews on this. I believe it was actually rated 2.5-3/5, which is pretty mediocre. Nonetheless, it's your typical scary teen movie flick--with a slightly twisted ending. The only problem is they started to drag it out near the end, when you obviously knew how things were going to go.
Sin City I loved it. No words could describe how much I adored it. It was accurate--right down to the scenes in the comic books.
Star Wars 3 Normally I'm a fan of these Star Wars movies, but this one just seemed sooooo angsty. It was like watching a kid go through puberty all over again. I didn't really like Episode II, but this one had a great number of combat scenes which made up for it. It connects the first triology with the last, therefore it's a fairly important key point in the series. What I did notice is that within the movies, they all feature Anakin Skywalker [and perhaps Yoda/Obi Wan]. So it feels like Star Wars [1-6] is more based around these characters than the other characters.
Alas, I've typed enough. XD

I recently bought the batman begins DVD... pretty good. A bit too much of a serious action drama for my tastes, but still a good movie. Gotta love scarecrow.

I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the other night. I prefer it over the original. Mr. Depp is an excellent actor.
