Why not look into journalism?
That's what I mean. Print journalism is a dying industry; it's all going online. I interned at FOXSports.com, and frankly, I don't want to sit around on my a** all day copy-editing others' stories. Journalism is all about converging and downsizing. The LA Times keeps cutting staff, and the Daily News closed the valley bureau near my house.
So, let's say I get a job for a newspaper. They'll want me to take a camera and shoot b-roll, voice-overs and edit for a vo-sot-vo or package for the TV news affiliate, and cut down my story for the online edition and upload the clips there, too. Not my favorite.
