Struggling to keep her cool she did not let it show that she was getting angry in the least bit, it just was not this Adol's way so she would avoid it if possible. Malika really didn't care to much about what the other had to say if all she was going to do was to bash on Nyek.
"I understand that what your saying is true however, he has provided me with a home, and had been nothing but kind to me so regardless of what you say it does not and will not change how I feel about him." It took every ounce of her will-power not to shout at the other.

Ithi looked at the other and snorted. "Your a female, he would hate you, he despises females I mean all they do is provide milk according to him. Just wait, he will leave you on your own." She laughed and turned to walk away, if everyone in this pride was that naive then she was leaving.

Malika replied to the other as the adult turned to walk away. Then she added "Besides, I already have someone more dear to me than Lord Nyek could ever be."

Malika simply watched Ithi walk away, she had nothing left to say to the other since she knew it would not make much of a difference. Depsite everything none of the other's words affected the adol in the way she felt about the king of these lands.
Turning around Malika walked away in the opposite direction.
