Horrible, truly horrible was the only way to describe it. The eccentric child who had found a love in dead flesh, enjoyed cutting things just to see the color of blood and in general was a little monster had just become...airborne. A truly sad day indeed for humanity...but a wonderful one for D-corp.

Up, up and away Keivlos continued to climb. The thought that he had actually achieved, something, of great importance, was simply beyond his comprehension. Right now he only wanted to reach that pretty white thing dancing above him. Poor Ligeia...it was only a matter of time that he would become a victim. At first bloody noses, and terrible falls had only been for the little raven. Misfortune however, seems to follow the unfortunate, even if they don't know they are so. Hence, Ligeia had now become disasters new game.

One last glance down the raven gave...a smile from the orangey thing, a go ahead. Eyes now trailed over to another pair of dark orbs in front of him. A slight smile curled about the little boys lips, it was a smile of happiness. Not bothering with grace, or stratagem, Keivlos simply charged Ligeia head on. The plan was to grab at a shoulder, and Keivlos was headed for one rightly so. Teeth separated, hands grabbed, and the raven made to attach himself to the visible flesh available to his hungry mouth. Living wasn't what he was usual after...but then again, he wasn't doing this to eat, he was doing it to beat.

Ligeia let out a loud, surprised shreik as he was attacked, his wings flapped wildly, arms reaching up to catch hold of Keivlos best that he could to try to get him off, "Augh! Stop it!" He cried. Holy... was that... the thing was biting him! The raven was biting! He started to flailed his wings harder, pushing at him with his arms to attempt to break away and flap up higher, out of his grasp.

Orpheus blinked and then lifted a hand to smack it against his forehead, just when it seemed that the flying class was going well... "Hey! Both of you! Stop that! No biting in my class, that is what Lily is for!" He yelled up at them, "Get down here!" Damn it for him being unable to fly. To be able to reach them, to stop them...

It wasn't as if Keivlos had bit hard...he was simply sampling. Besides, his teeth weren't anything like that of a dog or cat. They simply weren't hug long fangs, simply normal human teeth. Perhaps a bit sharper though, birds did have those serrated edges after all (if you could even say birds had teeth).

Screaming and yelling didn't help the situation much. Keivlos only took it for fun, simply laughed, and shouted back happily. Fun, fun! He couldn't remember the last time he had playmates like this.

Now wrapped around something that supported his weight, Keivlos let his wings stop their pulsating. Ah Ligeia, he had put up a good fight, but physics would take the law from here. The preteen just couldn't support two people at once yet. Perhaps he would hold out long enough to make their fall a kind one?

Yes one could only hope for that. However, I should say the landing didn't look too smooth. The raven ending up several feet away from the owl once they had touched the ground. Oh my, Madeline would most likely be getting a call from Orpheus for this, huh?

Orpheus was muttering to himself about flying classes and curses as he walked over to the two winged boy's, he helped Ligeia up to his feet first then walked over to Keivlos to make sure that he was ok too. His mind was whirling, it wasn't as if this were the first time there was a fight in one of his classes. For some reason he doubted that it would be the last time either... so... "You accomplished today's goal." He told the boy, "Flying that is, I am not a fan of fights in my classes though. Keep that in mind if your ever in another of them, please." He told the Raven.

Alive? Dead? Again, one could debate the boys current state of health. The lively way he sprung up, though, defiantly said, alive. "Keivlos, beat, Keivlos go high, high!" Upon finishing his victory statement, the boy did a little jump thrusting his fist into the air.

Thunk, thunk, feet hit the ground as he then went zooming past Orpheus to snatch at his favored play thing. Arms, latched around the filthy object in a demented hug. It was an all too familiar scene. Snuggling the object it seemed that Keivlos ignored the voice speaking to him. As far as the bird was concerned, Keivlos was done for the day.

This had been such a wonderful time! He had forgotten all about the sour mood he was in earlier. "Next time, Dima, we bring Revie!" Cooed the little black thing as he began wandering off.

But as it seemed he would disappear off into the distance, he stopped. The pause lasted a few minutes, before the wild thing came running back. Running over, the little boy approached the still starry eyed owl, whom seemed to be doing a bit better. Mother would be upset with him, if he didn't say good bye. She was always getting upset when he didn't practice good manners. Ah, she would be so proud to see him remembering them, now...Even if he carried them out in his own, odd, way.

Tackle! The raven hit the owl. A lick to the side of Ligeia's face, "GOOD BYE!" came a croaking scream. And then, he was gone.

Ligeia could only sit there where he'd landed after the tackle that he wasn't ready for and stare as the Raven ran off. He then lifted a hand to his cheek, blinking a couple times as he realized that he'd been... licked? He shook his head, what a weird way of saying goodbye but better then biting right? He pushed up to his feet, brushing off before he looked over at his father, "I think I need a shower." He said.

Orpheus couldn't help but laugh, Ligeia was taking everything in stride as usual, "At least it wasn't Ter that bit you right?"

The owl child nodded, at least Raven's didn't seem to be poisonous so he was sure that he would survive, "You know you never got to give him his prize for surviving your class." He told his father, hoping up so that he could hang off of his father until the redhead helped him up to give him a piggy back ride.

"I guess I will send it to him." Orpheus said as he headed for his place to drop off Ligeia.

Note Home
To Keilvos,

My thanks for attending the flying class, you did quite well despite maybe misunderstanding a few of my directions. My fault on that one though, this will help me to learn to be more clear though.

Anyways I am writing this note as you ran off before I was able to give you a reward for passing the class. It worked out well though as I was able to find something that suited you well.
