He laughs heartily. 'I undersestimate no one. It is that the Bedwine are simply isolationists, only respecting those of the desert and the Shai-Hulud. You do not have the eyes.'

"I am a sort of isolationist myself, but I know many people and many things written in books that were long ago lost. I may not have the eyes, but I have plenty of other ways of knowing." Durithill said, the moon light shining on his heavily scarred face as he looked up at the sky. "50,000 years..." he said quietly to himself, then a thought seemed to strike him. "You wouldn't happen to have heard of the whereabouts of a woman named Raine, would you?" he said, his blue eyes looking fierce as they snapped back down to meet his.

'Many names pass through Irem's halls and across the Erg. That is not one of them that I have heard. Mayhaps you should ask the Bedwine chief at Sietch Tabr, he knows many things, possibly many more than me.' He orders a small alcahol and takes a small sack of the cinnamon smelling bright orange melange spice and mixes it in. He drinks it and sighs.

"I don't pass often through the Realm of Earth, but I'd ask if I ever did." he said, and sat at the counter. Everyone in the bar seemed to back away from him, as if in fear. "She was an angel I... knew 50,000 years ago... I was hoping she could elighten me on the current situation... Every one says they don't know her, but I can tell they're lying... I wonder what has happened in 50,000 short years that could make demons so afraid of me that they won't tell me where she is..." Durithill explained. He'd hesitated slightly before saying he knew her, wondering to himself whether he should disclose his feelings toward her to this stranger, but he'd decided against it. His massive black broadsword was digging into the ground slightly, but Durithill didn't seem to notice, or care about its weight. "Water is precious to you, is it not? I'd think your people wouldn't drink alchohol for pleasure..."

'Water is precious in the Erg. And I am not of the flesh of men, I am Azhir. I thirst wether I walk the sands or swim the river. If I truly need water though I can drink of the pockets of my stillsuit.' He laughs lightly, dipping his finger in the melange and licking it, enjoying the pungent cinnamon smell of it.

"I would know the differance, but I'm not well at recognising the races of the Realm of Earth, which I do not frequent." he said with a short, fake sounding laugh. The men in the bar backed up further, and Durithill snorted at their odd behavior. "I suppose it's pointless to ask, but do you know what makes these men fear me so?"

'I know hearsay and rumours. I recognise your look from the voice on the wind. ' He sits back and gives a sardonic smile, looking him in the eyes with the eyes of a demon far past fear of anything save the Shai-Hulud and the thirst in the deep desert.

"That does not answer my question." Durithill pointed out and he decided order a glass of the strongest thing they had.

Rathios stepped out of the portal and instantly moved to the side. He'd felt blood under his shoe. "Apparently they're here..." he said, more to himself than anyone else. He quickly searched the bodies for indentification, but didn't find any so he stood up and waited for Raine.

Just has Raine had exited the portal, the metallic scent of blood filled her nose followed by a cough. She basically gagged... Raine hadn't battled in quite sometime, she had forgotten about the smell that usually never bothered her. "...He's here I'm guessing." She said, taking a few steps from the portal that had been swallowed up y the night sky. Her boots were loudly heard against the crimson covered cobblestone, which soon came to a halt as she knelt down to one of the corpses. "...Have their information?" She questioned Rathios before standing back up.

"Not carrying any." he said simply, "looking" down at them. "Did the report mention any family?" Rathios asked, using his magic to place the bodies against the wall of nearby building so they wouldn't get in the way of the demons that frewuently walk the streets. With a snap, he used his magic to clean the blood.

As the victems were pushed up agains the wall and the blood has disapearred, Raine stood up, turned to face him and shook her head. "No, nothing." She said buefore pushing a strand of her purplish hair aside. "..Lets keep going." She stated before the heel of her boots were heard hitting the cobblestone street again. "We won't get anywhere if we somply stand around.."

"That means we'll have to have them identified..." Rathios said with a sigh. He followed a short distance after her and quietly listened to the sounds of the distant and faint sounds of the town.

Raine looked to her left and right multiple times. "..Where should we start?" She asked her 'partner' before proceeding any farther. She wanted to make some process today, unlike the past attempts...

"What does he sound like?" Rathios asked, staring up at the night sky. He listened carefully for anything that sounded like a person being killed.
