"You're welcome." he said, kissing her back. He stared at the setting sun for a moment more before turning to the portal.

The subtle smile was still pulled across her face as she too, stared back at the fading sun. With a gentle tug of the hand, Raine urged him towards the vortex back to the Realm of the Plant. "Let's get some rest.."

"Alright." he said, smiling again as he passed through the portal.

Rathios' boots made a disgusting squelshing noise as he stepped out of the portal and directly into a pool of blood. Of course, it wasn't exactly easy to not step in blood. They'd arrived in what seemed like a town square in the Angelic Realm, but life wasn't bustling around. Everyone one looked, the streets and buildings were covered in blood. Even the water in the fountain in the center of the square seemed to have been replaced entirely by blood. The bodies of angels were littered around the square as if a hurricane had just decided to appear. A few were even stuck to walls or the ground with weapons or peices of debris. All the bodies had been so badly mangled, it was nearly impossible to tell that they were bodies in the first place. The whole placed reeked of death, and Rathios was forced to cover his nose to prevent himself from gagging.

"Augh!" A light sound came from the councilwoman's lips as her feet collided with with blood-stained ground. It was a grotesque sight... If that was even a proper word to use for it. Nearly tasting the metallic scent of the crimson liquid littering--No, covering the once peaceful city, Raine eventually uttered a few words through sickening gasps.

"What happened here?!" Her tone anxious and clearly disgusted with whomever, or whatever decided to slaughter an entire city. Obviously it was someone against these peaceful creatures.

"...Rathios!" She blurted his name, wanting to understand fully what happened as soon as she possibly could. Of course, there was really only one person she figured would even go about doing this sort of thing..

"I'm sure you recognize that." Rathios said, pointing to a wall. His voice was slightly muffled from speaking through his shirt. On the wall where he pointed was a cresent moon, the same as Durithill's cloak clasp, painted in blood. "It's the symbol of the Tomsaruka family. Of course, not many people know that since there's only two left. Durithill, and Durimiros of course." he said, looking around. "The angels are demanding the one responsible. They're threatening to attack the Demonic Realm."

"Durimiros.." Raine snorted, spitting the name as if it were some sort of an unhealthy substance. Stepping through the puddles of crimson liquid bare-footed at a quick pace, her eyes frantically searched the area as if to find some sort of surviving civilization that still remained unharmed.

Spinning around as if to get some kind of response or facial expression from Rathios, the woman's eyes reamined on the blind man, still looking for an explaination... What did Durimiros want and why did he return? How? There were so many un answered and unexplainable question swimming throughout her head desperatly sucking her dry for an answer. It was frustration, nerve-racking, completely and utterely difficult to deal with.. What exactly was going on?

"Well.." Raine began, her voice small and somewhat unsteady.

"Standing around won't do any justice.. I must inform Durithill and return to the Demonic Realm at once!

Rathios could feel Raine's piercing gaze. He knew she wasn't going to like his next bit of news. "That's... the... other thing..." he said slowly, trying to "see" her with his other senses. The massive amount of blood was making it hard for him to locate her. "Durimiros was confirmed to be in the Forbidden Realm when this happened... And Durithill is no where to be found..." he said bluntly. He hoped the news would be akin to removing a bandage quickly: it would sting like hell, but she'd get over it quickly.

Her figure froze. She stood there entirelly still, unsure of how to move, how to react, how to respond. There was no chance that Durithill would have done this, there was an error in the calculations, it just must have been a set up.

"..You must have have made.." She began, her infurated tone relapsing to a quiet, more shaky sound. Usually her emotions would ease from one to another naturally, but she was falling and fast.

"--A mistake..." Raine mumbled, the words barely passing her lips.

"Rathios, you must have made a mistake!"

"We confirmed multiple times that Durimiros was in the Forbidden Realm. We even risked a visual confirmation. There's no doubt he wasn't here." Rathios said, looking vaugly in Raine's direction. The smell of blood was begining to mess with his other senses as well. "However, we could neither confirm, nor deny, Durithill's presense here. He simply... dropped off the map after you left him." While this was technically true, he had no doubt that most people would assume without a shadow of a doubt that Durithill committed this act. After all, Durithill and Durimiros were the only two strong enough to have done it, and Durimiros hadn't been here. "But no matter who did it, the angels are furious. Raine, you have to do something."

"He's with Elva.." Raine mumbled lowly. No, he wouldn't do this, his father perhaps, but definately not Durithill. Yes, he was fully capable of doing it.. But he wouldn't.

"Rathios.. I--I want you to do a little more research.." The councilwoman suggested, stuttering slightly.

"I will.. Go to the Demonic Realm and see what I can do." A sudden sour taste was tasted at the back of her mouth, her stomach was churning and her throat felt like it was closing. She was nervous, uncertain. It couldn't be Durithill, it wasn't... He wouldn't just up and leave.

But what if he did? There was no evidence left behind proving him guilty.. That was in his favor, but would he get off scott-free? Or was he truly innocent?

Lowering her hand to her stomach in pain from not only the horrid scent of blood staining the city, but from the awkward feeling within her. There was that gut feeling that told him that he was guilty... But he was innocent. He had to be... But where else would he be at that point in time? The Master Realm? What for..

"They separated after you left. Elva went to the Demonic Realm." Rathios said. He nodded though and turned to leave. "We've got five days to do something before the angels offically declare war. At that time, all hell will break loose, and we'll have failed our duties." he said before creating a portal and vanishing.

The man waiting in the shadows grinned as they departed. "Perfect. They fell for it." he said with a slight laugh. "And the angels are threatening war? This couldn't have gone better if I wanted it too." Durimiros stepped forth from the shadows to admire his handi-work. He looked at the bodys, the blood, his symbol on the wall, and laughed. "Now, it's time to get things moving quicker." And with that a void blacker then night appeared in front of him. He laughed again, then vanished into it.

Durithill stepped softly into the Angelic Realm, his shoes hardly making a sound on the stones that paved the road. He could tell immediatly that they were on the northern cloud of the Angelic Realm, the royal district. None of the angels payed him any mind, for he'd deftly changed into his angelic form as he's passed through the portal. He stepped aside so Raine wouldn't bump into him, and placed his hand on the sword now hanging on his side, as if he were a bodyguard.
