Jini looked a little awed. Part of it was because she was being so nice to him...and because it didn't seem so strange that she was. And the other part was that she didn't know about the pridelands. Almost everyone he had ever met at least knew about them. To have to explain it...well, actually it was a little nice. He had such a passion for his home to be able to express that to another...it was almost heart warming. "Well it's...it's so beautiful there...its always green and it's never too hot or too cold...there are flowers in spring and...there's plenty of watering holes and pools...and herds of all sorts of animals run free through it and..."
And then...wait...she wanted him to follow her? With a startled lurch he stumbled onto his paws, his lack of coordination rather adroable. "A...s-sure!" Did that mean Ada was coming too?

*With a soft laugh the violet colored female quickly got to her paws and jumped over to his side and with a playful tug she nipped at his ear to follow. Though she didn’t know what his mother would think, Faye hoped that taking her son off of her paws for a while would be okay. With a soft whisper she beckoned him to follow her as she started off in the direction of a gathering of trees.*

Jini paused for a moment before feeling a warmth spread through his heart. Touched, and with no real reason to be, he smiled softly. There were no strings to nervousness or shyness attached. Just a peaceful, joyful expression. He bounded after her without a second thought. He didn't know where she was taking him but...he'd go. How could he not, when he couldn't stop his heart from feeling he was making a genuine friend?
Adanna looked up from her "fishing" to see Jini leave. She smiled then, much like the smile her son had just had not long before. It felt good, to see him so relaxed. He had so few friends where he felt that way. She wasn't so dense she didn't notice. With a grin she shook her head and went back to the water. He'd be back when he was ready.

*With a soft smile and a quick glance back Faye laughed and padded onward, moving a bit faster as Jini started after her. She beamed with joy and leaped over a small rock that nestled safely within the earth’s surface.*
“Come on Jini, come on!”
*The female laughed once more, before making a sharp turn left; her claws extended as she gripped along the grass covered ground for support, stopping just at the opening of a small stone structure. Many trees covered this area, so without really taking the time to examine what was hidden along the trees, one would pass by without ever knowing that this rock formation was a small cave… that lead to a secret place.
Faye often came here to get away from her troubles, this was her place of sanctuary and she wanted to share it with him. Panting softly she stood still and glanced back at him with a soft smile.*

Jini ran after her, laughing a little as well. Her grace was charming, almost enchanting, but he could not mirror it. Elegence and grace could not describe him. For his moments made it seem like his legs were too long for him and his growing mane was constantly falling in his vision. But no matter how many times he stumbled or slipped or failed to get the the turn just right he kept going. He didn't give up.
When he caught up to her he was breathing hard as well, but there was a goofy smile on his face, almost as if his spirits had been liftd by the run itself. His eyes shone with elation and he tore his gaze away from her for a moment to look at the structure she had brought him too. "O-oh wow!" He murmured, his stutter from awe and not nervousness. You really COULD over look this place if you weren't careful!

“Hah! Come on… this way.”
*Faye’s left paw softly brushed along his right paw she tapped him playfully, wanting him to follow her again. Her eyes were wide and glossy as she beamed at him before turning back around. Slowly she moved to the mouth of the cave and without any kind of warning walked in. Darkness covered her body as she entered, vanishing for Jini’s sight for a moment.
But after about five minutes of silence Faye’s voice pierced his ears again.*
"Jini?"
*She called out, through the endless darkness of the cave. The cave fell into a tunnel and the tunnel opened up to a small valley of flowers, painted warm colors. It was truly a sight to see, if one could make it through the cave. It was bumpy and dark, but Faye was sure that he could do it.*
“Jini, just follow my voice until you see the end of the tunnel, okay?”

Jini gaped at her with genuine surprise as she disappeared into the dark. He scrambled forwardly only to stop at the edge of the cave's mouth. His ears flickered to the side slightly, gazing at the cave in earnest. Where had she gone to...? His hesitation was broken by her voice was it sounded for the dark. Follow her voice?
He features relaxed slightly and he nodded. Like a leap of faith he moved into the complete and utter blackness with only her voice to guide him. It's ringing, smooth sound was not easy to follow, but he did so anyway. He stumbled in the dark, scraping his paws and bruising his limps. But a small, determined smile lay on his maw. Trust flashed in his eyes. This was nothing.
He lost his footing completely, however, when the cave turned into a tunnel. He felt and rolled twice before stopping with his belly scraped across the ground. He winced a little, but sat up quickly and shook his head.

*Unaware of what was going on within the tunnel Faye frowned and slowly pulled herself back into the darkness. She softly spoke to Jini as she made her way, going back in the direction that she had come- but before she could even get a response from him she ran into something! Quickly she pulled herself back with a soft squeak and laughed, it was Jini! Poor Faye couldn’t see for the life of her!*
“Heheh, Jini, are you okay? I know this is weird, but trust me, it’s worth it.”
*As she spoke her body pressed against his, before she turned herself around and started back in the right direction.*
“Just follow me, okay?”
*With that said Faye tapped him with her tail, showing him where she was, before moving herself back down the tunnel. It wouldn’t take them long now.*

"Ah, I'm ok. I fall a lot actually," he chuckled, his expression unreadable in the dark. But his voice was light and warm. He sounded fine. He felt a rush of warmth through his body at her touch and suddenly didn't mind the dark. He trusted her. If she said it was worth it it had to be. Getting his barings, with help from the tap of her tail, he began to follow her again, this time seeming a little more wary of the elevation of the floor. He didn't fall again, though his shuffling of paws and strumbles continued. It was just part of who he was.

*Nearing the exit of the cave a soft glimmer of light could be seen as the two moved onward, padding to the opening of the cave. A bright light would blind them before they would be able to see the beauty of the garden around them. Softly Faye padded out of the cave and with a quick twist of her pelt removed all of the dirt and dust that had stuck to her from within the dark tunnel.
A soft smile passed her maw as she stood within the center of a large field that lay covered in warm colored flowers and grasses. The sun was softly setting and the skies were painted in deep pinks and oranges, thus complementing the flower garden that Faye had brought Jini to.
This place was filled with beauty and life; it was welcoming… soothing. Faye did not speak, no… she simply moved herself to sit within the flowers as she gazed up at the falling sun. Soon the night would be painted back… soon the stars would light the sky and the flowers would sleep, but until then Jini would be able to embrace this place, just as she had done so long ago.
Turning back to him Faye smiled and patted the place beside her, as if asking him to join her as she gazed up at the heavens.*

Jini dropped his head slightly, his ears flickering as he squinted in the bright light. But as his eyes adjusted he found himself lifting his head and coming to a stop. He stared in wonder, his mouth falling open in amazement. His eyes shone with awe and his white ears shifted forward. He had never seen something so beautiful before...not in his homeland, not anywhere.
It took him a long white to tear his eyes away, completely speechless. Somehow it felt like...saying anything would make this place vanish, as if it would be shattered like a mirror by any sound. So he moved to sit beside her, silent but words weren't needed. He was as easily read as book, his joy and inspiration reflected in his features and shining in his eyes.

“Isn’t it lovely.. Jini?”
*A soft smile passed her maw as she turned her sight to him; he looked so content. This made her happy. Slowly Faye moved lower to the ground, until she was rested within the bed of flowers below her. Her body nestled beside his as she smiled and eyed up at the night’s sky.*
“Tell me something Jini… anything at all.”

"It is," he whispered, barely managing to get the words out. He held back a purr, feeling more at ease then he had ever felt in a long time. For once he wasn't worried about his place in the world, about being a trouble to others, about having the world crash down around his ears if he made any little mistake. He was just able to have a peaceful moment. A moment with a friend.
"This is the most beautiful night I've ever had," He murmured with genuine feeling, his voice soft as if anything louder would cast away the dream they were sitting in right now.

“I can never do wrong here. I can not disappoint my sister here, I am not alone here.”
*She whispered softly, relaxing her chin against her paws. She was very confusing but simple. It was a complex mess of nothingness that made Faye what she was. She was alone but she was alive. Her tail softly curled along her side as she spoke again.*
“Tell me about yourself... I’d like to hear more about this home land of yours.”

Jini blinked and looked down at her. His maw opened slightly in a frown, concern alight in his eyes. His worry was as obvious as that of a child's. He didn't try to hide it. She...wanted him to talk about himself, after what she had said? He swallowed, deciding to ask about her first. "I...I've talked about my homeland before we came here...it's not fair I go again. Let's..." He hesitated. He didn't want to push her but...he didn't like the ideas that came with what she said. Alone? Disappoint her sister? "...talk about you...do you...ah...live with your...sister...?"
