The young lion merely grinned, licking her nose to silence her. "Awww...admit it, you'll think it's funny later." Stepping outside into the sun, Juhudi instantly fell into a long stretch that rolled from his forepaws down to his tail. Ah, the sun felt good on his tan hide, a refreshing change from the chilled floor of their den. Trotting to his mate's side, he paused for a moment to brush his shoulder against hers, then started at a walk toward the water hole at her side.

Mosi finally relaxed, purring as his shoulder brushed hers, and she combed his mane a bit with her teeth in passing before falling into an easy pace beside him then, just a bit behind pulling even.
"Maybe when I'm not as big as a wildabeast." She muttered half joking and half self concious. The fact that she was carrying cubs did make her feel... proud in a maternal way, but she also missed being thin, and often felt silly for the way she waddled around these days. Did he find her attractive still?

He smiled at her, purring softly almost as to reassure her against her unspoken question. It would have been a silly question. He loved her dearly and nothing would have changed that; she was always just as beautiful to him. As he walked, his gaze shifted to watch the dark lioness, an impish grin on his maw, a cubish play in the flick of his tail. Ever the cub at heart, the young lion batted at his mate, tapping her shoulder. An instant later he side-stepped, leaping just out of reach, falling into a playful crouch. "Tag."

Mosi raised an eyebrow as her shoulder was tagged, her mate ducking away from her expectantly, and she gave him a skeptical glance.
".... You're crazy if you think I'm chasing you around like this."
She informed with a general glance in the direction of her stomach.
After all the work it took just for her to get off the ground?? No way was she going to wear herself out trying to catch him, while he had an unfair advantage as he did. She loved her dork dearly, but that just wasn't gonna happen.

Juhudi was adorablly oblivious, or maybe he just thought she needed to play despite the cubs she was carrying. Either way he wasn't taking no for an answer. "Aww, come on." He took a single bound toward her, butted his head against hers, then bounded out of reach again. He stood with his body crouched, front end near the ground, his tail flicking happily over his rear. "Please? It'll be fun." His ears dropped a bit, his expression changing to an adorably irristable pout.

"Wh-- hey!" Mosi growled softly, batting at the empty air where he was just seconds before. Huff. "After all the effort it took just for me to get up, are you kidding??"

"Awww...but..." He knew that Mosi wasn't really in the mood to play and that it was harder for her to get around now. But the young lion simply couldn't help himself. He was so full of energy and he so wanted to play. He wanted to play not only for his sake, but he thought it would cheer her up as well. Circling, he bounded at her, batting at her tail before trotting to her side, brushing his head against her shoudler playfully. "Okay then, we can play something else." He grinned, for now walking at her side, letting the game of tag wait until another day. But that mischevious grin never left his maw as paws carried them toward the water hole, where surely he would find some other game to play with his beloved.

Mosi just snorted in soft warning before they both let it drop, and a comfortable silence spanned.
Well, almost comfortable. His grinning made her wary. Mosi's eyes did narrow a bit as a brow rose simultaneously, curious as to what -exactly- he was scheming, and thinking it'd better not involve interrupting her sunning. Yes, she was much shorter tempered and moody during these past few weeks, that she had gotten from her mother without question.
As the two made their way closer, Juhudi walking, Mosi moving at his side as gracefully as she could (and still she was waddling somewhat), the watering hole came into view. The dark lioness felt her mood perk a bit at the sight of the water. The sun would be warmer this close to a reflective surface, perfect for sunbathing. Maybe Juhudi would help her wash some of the dust from the den from her pelt. It got itchy when left too long.
