"Healing Ungent. It takes care of wounds quickly and eliminates the possibility for infection. Definitely a good item to have around - you never know what may happen." Geneva drummed her fingers on the table. "Fifty-five."

As the trader seemed to become a tad impatient, drumming her fingers on the table, Silver decided the healing ungent could wait. "Very nice. Not really something I can't live without, but nice, just the same," she said to herself, placing the black and red container back on the table. "I am however, quite interested in this." She was now speaking to the trader again and her tone had become serious. She held up the amber-colored bottle once more. "Would you perhaps be willing to come down to 60 couplets? There's not that much in it, after all." Silver raised an eyebrow.

Geneva had learned from one of the best - her brother. When she'd fallen ill, and become unmarriable, he'd taught her his own trade. To make her useful, he said. More, it was to try and make up for not being able to save her.
He'd taught her to price things above their worth - just in case she could get that much. But he'd also taught her that gypsies were shrewd, and likely to simply walk away if she refused a reasonable offer.
"Sixty would be fine," she said, nodding. "I hope you find good use for it."

Caroline makes a soft clucking sound with her tongue. "Only a day," she murmurs to herself.
Rojiza, meanwhile, disgusted with her mother's infatuation with the love potion, surveys the trader's other wares. She wonders about buying medicines from an unwhole woman--couldn't she use her medicines on herself? Or did they not work? Shoving these thoughts aside for a moment, she looks at some pinkish-red berries with long, leafy stems. She looks up at the trader questioningly. What did they do?

Geneva only got Ro's questioning gaze after a moment of watching Caroline carefully. But she turned to the strange-looking girl with a slight smile. "Oh, you wouldn't be interested in that, young one. They're berries from the Marshes - they allow whoever eats them to see the motivations of others, no matter how unsavory they may be, and to speak in other tongues."

Rojiza's heart lifts for a moment before plummeting again. What good would speaking in tongues be if she couldn't speak at all? Sighing, she nods and pokes around for something else, something perhaps more useful to her.
Caroline finally nods. "How many couplets for the bittie love potion, did ye say?" she inquires, ignoring Rojiza's facepalm.

"Seventy-five." She smiled beneath her wraps. What was the woman planning to do with it? She was tempted to ask, but with an item as testy as a forced love potion... somehow, that required more caution that a belt full of poisons.
Geneva supposed poison could have justified uses. But the same probably could not be said about love potions.

She hadn't been active amoungst her family for a while, there was something keeping her back at the moment.
She left the caravan, Amkia in her arms and Kala slowly and happily following behind. Heather wasn't in good shape, her hair looked somewhat a mess.
She walked over to the trader and looked at what she had, not understanding any of it, she waited till the trader was free, was it possible to get a calming thing or maybe a sleeping potion that would send Kala to sleep?

Caroline bites her lip. "Seems a wee bit steep for a draught that only works for a day. Perhaps ye'll part with it for sixty-five."
Rojiza, rather irritated on the whole by this point, folds her arms over her barely-noticible chest and skulks off back to the wagon.

"It may only work for a day, but there is enough for quite a few doses - nearly ten, if apportioned intelligently. Seventy."
Her eyes followed Ro's bushy tail. "... Your daughter seems less than pleased, miss."

At a break in the activity around her wares, Geneva looked up and caught Heather's eye. She quirked a brow.
"Looking for anything in particular, miss?" she asked politely, glancing at the angelic child in her arms and barely catching sight of the slinking shadow of a cat by her feet.

Heather looked up and smiled, "Oh I am sorry, I don't understand any of this stuff, I am slightly confused when it comes to anything like this." She smiled, Amkia sucking his thumb happily in her arms.
Kala watched, hissing at the stranger and keeping her distance, the world was full of stupid idiots to her.

"Medicines?" She chuckled. "I have a mild assortment here. Medicines to see future paths, medicines to speak in other tongues, medicines to calm..."

Her eyes followed Ro's bushy tail. "... Your daughter seems less than pleased, miss." Caroline turns her head quickly, her bushy brown hair flouncing. She sighs. "Rojiza doesn't understand romance yet," she says, trying to convince herself as much as the trader. "Seventy it is." Eyes still on her huffily-retreating daughter, she speaks again. "D'you have anything that she might enjoy, or find useful?"

"Sadly, no, not that I can think of. The berries she was looking at cause an altered state of awareness, but... it is not for the faint of heart. Seeing others' motivations can be trying, at times."
She handed over the love potion, taking the payment from Caroline. "A medicines vendor has little to offer young children."
