I've actually never had a trick or treating experience. It's not a big deal down here in Oz...
When my cousins still lived in the area, our families would get together and throw a little party, but now everyone's moved interstate. One year a few friends and I just bummed around our street at night, chatting. It was one of those rare happy times when we could all get together.
