Othello's Quarters

Name: Othello Farelle Birthdate: Unknown Nicknames: the God of Death, the General of the Seiryu Army (the Devil’s army), “General Seiryu”, the Prince of Devils, the Most Eccentric Playboy in the Royal Family Family: Ororon (The King of Devils (younger half-brother)), Oscar (half-brother), Yotsuba (son), Futaba (deceased wife), King Oz (The Ex-King of Devils (father deceased)) Petpet: Mitsume Job: the General of the Seiryu Army (the Devil’s army) History: Othello was one of the five son to the now ex-King of Devils, King Oz, at the age of ten he stopped a man from raping a young girl. The girl ran to knights of the Seiryu army, to inform them that the rapist was now beating up Othello. One of the knights was General Futaba Hiiragi, a woman often mistaken as a man, the best fighter in the army, a woman Othello wanted to marry. Not realizing who Othello was, and thinking that he was a cute kid, Futaba states that she will only marry someone who is stronger than her, and than agrees to fight with the ten-year-old Othello. Othello says he will arrange everything for the next evening in the royal stadium via his father and gives Futaba a giant grasshopper (which is very rare). He than said he needed to continue his previous arrangements with the prostitute Monet-chan. The next day in the stadium, amongst a large crowd Othello bested Futaba and they were married. Futaba refused Othello sex until they were the same height, and three years later they had a son, Yotsuba. Their lives seemed well until, Futaba refused to kill an innocent man and was condemned. Othello was given the choice by King Oz to either execute Futaba, or the entire Seiryu Army. With much prodding from his with Othello killed her. In the events following Futaba’s death, Othello becomes General of the Army, and when time appropriate Yotsuba is appointed commander of the 1st battalion. Unlike what is accustom in Hell’s hierarchy Othello takes a liking to his younger half-brother Ororon the successor to Oz’s thrown. Instead of being a rival for power, and being a part of the numerous assassination attempts on Ororon’s life, Othello helps his brother. Since the lose of his wife Othello has had some issues, a ravenous sex life filled with meaningless one-night-stand, as much was his life as the ten-year-old before Futaba. He tends to ignore Yotsuba, but when they are together acts the over achieving annoying parent, in the worst possible situation (like during battle). Othello comes to earth and ultimately tries to aid Ororon in his pursuit of love and freedom (from hell) with the half-angel Chiaki. When he first arrives it is under a laid back persona that is only there to see his baby brother. Othello tells Ororon of the doppelgänger that Ororon had left to rule hell in his stead. He also informs Ororon of the search for hells wayward king not all of which is friendly. One of the bounty hunters after Ororon is Mitsume who is gifted with a third eye, and a strong fighter (especially for having only one arm, and three remaining fingers). These features attract Othello to Mitsume, for the rarity of his eyes and his own inner strength. Mitsume is first offered 2 billion baron (the currency of Hell) for his body. When he refuses, Othello decides that he needs to be broken so that Mitsume can join Othello’s army and be his plaything (again, he refuses). Using his teeth, Mitsume bandages a sword to stay on his right hand. A battle between Mitsume and Othello ensues. Mitsume repeatedly asks to be killed when he sees that he does not have the upper hand. Othello refuses, and beats him to a bloody pulp. He’s eventually stabbed non-fatally by Othello and loses consciousness. When the rest of Othello’s army returns, he assigns two of his men to heal Mitsume. Around the same time, Ororon, trying to save his own life, ends up killing most of the bounty hunters. This enrages the half-angel Chiaki, who screams “NO!”, in the process blowing up the city, killing many. The present contingent of Othello’s army ends up at a hotel while trying to locate Ororon again to bring him back to Hell. During this time, Othello and Mitsume stay in their own room, where Othello alternately beats the s**t out of Mitsume and heals and feeds him. Othello states that he could be a very nice person if Mitsume would just relent. Othello also states that he will give Mitsume a reason to live, the reason being to hate him. There is a reference to pillow talk. Fade to black. When we next see them, Mitsume is rather pissed. (By now, Othello has started affectionately calling him “dog” or “doggie”.) He tries to stab Othello, wounding his left eye. In turn, Othello removes Mitsume’s third eye. At this point, they are informed that Ororon has been found, and he and his army go to retrieve him. Othello shows up at the battleground with the eye in his hand and Mitsume following behind him. Everyone goes off to help with the battle. Mitsume and Othello have another conversation about his reason to live. Othello pops out his left eye (by now healed) and puts Mitsume’s eye in the socket. Although Mitsume has been hated for his entire life for having said third eye, he finds a strong compulsion to want it back. This reinforces his hatred of Othello, and he will do anything to get his eye back, which Othello states will mean killing him. This hatred will indeed later become his reason to live. Othello once more beats the s**t out of Mitsume and leaves him with his blue eye. Mitsume is then out of most of the battle. He sort of walks around, not really caring about the battle. Once he is healed, he catches Othello with Othello’s older brother Oscar’s ex-girlfriend having a quickie against the wall. (Oscar is trying to dethrone Ororon.) The girlfriend is also Othello’s master of some sort. After a second of seeing this, Mitsume pulls his dagger (the one that wounded Othello’s eye) and tries to assassinate him once more:
”Hakase Mizuki” Othello: How many times do I have to whoop your a**? I’m losing interest. You never bring anything new to the table. Mitsume ... you need more training. What’s your excuse? It’s not like you have anything else to do. Mitsume: And there’s a million things you have to do, right? Screw women while your brother lies dying. You’re just as useless… as me. Othello: Look. It’s okay. Take your time, travel the world. I don’t care how long it takes. But when you’re ready, be sure to come back, get your eye back, and rid the world of my scourge. And maybe, just maybe, it will be you who dies then. But at least you will be a challenge. Right now it’s like wrestling a child. It’s your lack of purpose that compromises your focus. You’re incapable of crystallizing your intent. You’re weak in your center. So go, my young friend. Spend your life getting ready for the battle. There’s your reason to live. Mitsume: Okay. Othello: I look forward to it. Mitsume: Me too. I will kill you someday… unless you lay me down here and now. Know that. I promise you. Don’t forget. Othello: Enough already. I won’t forget. Likes: Mitsume, Getting his way Dislikes: decisions in which one of the answers is “killing those I love.”

Mitsume's Cage

Name: Mitsume Birthdate: --- Nicknames: Monster, The Idler, Dog(gy)[by Othello] Family: A mother and father (deceased) Job: Bounty Hunter of Demons/Othello’s Plaything History: Mitsume was not actually born with that name. His parents, when seeing that he was a three-eyed monster, shunned him and did not name him. “They never gave a name, love, or hope for a better life to come.” They did feed him, but only out of spite, because death would have been the best for him. They did, however, refer to him as a monster, the idler, and mitsume (literally, three-eyed monster). He lived in the corner of his parents’ house, and that’s where he ate and slept. It was a one-room hut, and his parents would have sex while he was still awake, because they didn’t care about him. “The only pleasure I ever got was from reading an old war magazine I pilfered. I don’t know why it made me so happy. Maybe it was the violence. Maybe it was the notion of freely facing death – taking life until yours is, in turn, taken. I don’t know. But that magazine fired my imagination.” He grew up in the northern country, in a small village that was not even on the map. The village was struck by plague, and no one was able to come to their aid. They blamed it completely on Mitsume. One night, the villagers had decided that the plague would end when Mitsume’s life ended, and they burnt down his house with him and his parents inside. Mitsume escaped, barely, losing his left arm and the two fingers on his right hand, with only the clothes on his back and the old war magazine. His parents did not even try to escape the fire themselves, so much as explain to the villagers that Mitsume was trying to escape. He had to flee the village. He saw a Wanted poster for a Ralph Klorlee: wanted dead, reward 500 baron (the currency of the underworld). Mitsume found and killed Ralph and then brought the head to Cecille, who pays bounty hunters. This is the point at which Mitsume actually receives his name. Cecille needed a name to put in the bounty record books, and Mitsume said he had no name. When asked what his parents called him, he said “Monster, the Idler.” When asked a second time, he added, “Mitsume.” Cecille was the person who named Mitsume, and was effectively his boss. They became friends. He was 12 when he became a bounty hunter. By the age of 14, he was infamous. After an entertaining conversation over drinks, Cecille pointedly asked that Mitsume find something to do with his life. “His words stuck with me. And as fate would have it, they were his last.” Cecille was killed by some kids while trying to help a girl he did not know who they were beating up. This incident spurs Mitsume’s obsession: why he was born and allowed by Fate to live, what his purpose in life (raison d’etre) is, and why people live (even if they are only to die later). An unknown number of years later, he joins a band of bounty hunters, hunting higher demons. The band is currently after the King of Hell, the Devil Ororon.Ororon had recently run away from Hell after numerous attempts on his life, leaving a sort of “puppet” in his place. He had come up to Earth and was found one day on the street by a half-angel, Chiaki. When they confront Ororon, they all die with the exception of Mitsume, who had been trying to kill Othello: the God of Death, the General of the Seiryu Army (the Devil’s army), “General Seiryu”, the Prince of Devils. Othello, who likes rare things, happens to be rather entranced by Mitsume’s third eye, and decides that he wants Mitsume. He first offers 2 billion baron for him. When Mitsume refuses, Othello decides that he needs to be broken so that he can join his army and be his plaything. (Again, he refuses.) Using his teeth, Mitsume bandages a sword to stay on his right hand. A battle between Mitsume and Othello ensues.
