I stumbled upon slash on Fanfiction.net however didn't read it or get into it. It seemed weird to me at the time, and actually kind o annoyed me. I was all like, Legolas isn't gay why are they writing this? I was in 8th grade, I didn't get it.
Then later, I read Anne Rice's vampire chronicles which has a lot of homoeroticism. I was when reading Queen of the Damned, and there is a section devoted to the relationship between the vampire Armand and the mortal reporter from Interview with the vampire Daniel. Now I was really excited to read this part because I wanted to know what happened to Daniel after the first book. But when I read it, it got really slashy really quickly, and it was probably the most erotic thing I'd ever read. (I'm shelter, its not that bad, undertones or S&M and they call each other lover) but I'd never read anything like this, and was shocked. I kept thinking, why? But then as I read it, I started liking it. (I first read this the summer before 10th grade and have reread this particular section more than once).
Searching for Anne Rice VC fanart also helped me to find some yaoi pics, which I liked.
Then I joined gaia in 11th grade, and soon realized playing as a girl character there were many other girls around and not many guys to rp with, and also that having a male rp character was fun. So I started rping as a male character, a vampire, and then in the course of the rp it became yaoi and my character soon was in a relationship with another male character. Its was fun.
Last fall 12th grade I watched Gravitation in our school's anime club. By this point I was very hooked to all things yaoi slash.

My sister got introduced me to it, but at first i didn't like yaoi at all. Luckily she was determined to get me into it and now i love yaoi with a burning passion!

I was reading this very good fanfiction and after I had finished with it, I checked the author's profile to see if they had any more stories. As I looked, clicked on one that I though was completely het, but turned out to be two guys. It had been an Inuyasha fanfiction.

I discovered slash by accident. I was just bored and looking though differenet site and this weird site came up and there it was! it was..... oddly interesting ans since then I've liked Yaoi and slash

I was really weirded out the first time I saw a Harry/Draco fanfic and when I saw on the internet that in the Japanese version Touya and Yukito from Cardcaptor Sakura had a thing goin' on(My fake boyfriends at the time) ^__^ I fell into the abyss of curiousity and instantly was lost in it. And enjoying it!!! Yeah! 4 yrs. baby!!!

I discovered slash through the powers of GOOGLE. I'm not sure what I was searching for at the time, but whatever it was brought me to a Rurouni Kenshin slash fiction site. Curiousity obviously won me over.

I actually ran in on my twin sister (lesbian btw.) watching some video it in her room with her girlfriend. But I've know comics and book forms of yaoi for a very long time. I use to pick out the ones with the pretty boys on front and most of them happened to be yaoi/slash comics.. 3nodding
