I love the books. There's just so much in the books you don't see in the movies, and most don't even relize it when they read it. Most just read it as any other story instead of digging.

I love J.K. Rowling's writing style. The language is not just interesting, but beautiful. The movies are all right, but books will always be way better. I wish Peter Jackson directed the Harry Potter movies.

The books, of course.
Who would think the movies are better?
The books are the originals.

I like the books better because they have all of the parts. In the movies, people get the perception that it is Harry and Hermione. grrr... it's Ron people!!! And I didn't like how they left out SPEW. One of my favorite parts ofthe fifth book.

The movies leave out way too much of the tensions between Harry and Draco in my opinion. They have this almost love/hate relationship that boarders on almost love...I mean Harry even begins stalking him in the sixth book and can't hardly stop thinking about him and talking about him. They just make it seem way to trivial in the movies for me. :

I love the books. The whole point of the movies is to give you a visual of what you're reading in the book. Unfortunatly, they also leave a lot of the not necessary parts out, because they are limited in how much time the movie can take, and the parts deemed unimportant are often the most fun and/or exciting (such as watching Ron play Quidditch) Since I'm a visual person, and I can already see the images in my head as I read them, I don't care for the movies. Plus, I can see them the way I want to, rather than the way percieved in the movies. A book is so much more personal, because it gives your imagination more room to come up with the story. The movies give you basically everything, so there's nothing left for you to think about on your own.

I love reading the books, the movies are cool too though. :] When I read the books though, I can imagine things the way I want to. It's much more interesting. xP

I agree very much with Aerial. I mean most of the parts they leave out are my favorite parts. For example, like Aerial said, Ron getting the qudditch team, SPEW, and things like that. Also I love all the fighting scenes between the trio, mostly Ron and Hermione and all those got cut out this movie!! crying

I love the books best. Movies are okay, but they always leave parts out.

I heart the book sooo much. The movies are good too, but there are some things that make me mad because they changed some things so much.

Psycho_Ryko I'm a complete bookworm but I heart the movies too. Even though they completely destroy some parts & tick me off... stare *grumble* I agree! I LOVE the books more than the movies, but I also LOVE the movies. I am always excited for them, and even though they are not like the books, I always love watching the special affects, and all the new directors!

The books have so much.. so much more in them. God, I dont know how they are going to make the seventh movie make any sort of sense with the things that they cut from it.
Like they cut out Nevilles family from the fifth movie. I just was heartbroken when they did that. I couldn't believe my eyes. But however, the movies have the musical score by John Williams, then later by Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Hooper. And such beautiful music it is heart
