Hideto "hide" Matsumoto is a former member of the X-Japan. In 1998 he commited suicide. In respong to that many fans tried suicide as well. Two succeeded from what I've read. Yes. People say that if you commit suicide you go to hell, but I'd rather not believe that. Rest in peace, hide. And if Gackt died I would mourn. Eventually get over it, but still wish him peaceful resting.

I would die on an emotional level. I would feel.. empty. Like nothing matters anymore. I would build a shrine.
But I wouldn't commit a suicide. I'm sure that Gackt would still keep living in my heart. I would always remember him and keep listening to his music.

to situation #1: I would weep. weep my heart out.
to situation #2: first i would weep. second, a state of confusion would wash over me cuz i would be thinking/asking why would he do such a thing. third, i would mourn. lastly i would move on, with his wonderful contribution of music in my heart.
overall: no, i wouldn't kill myself over a celebrity death. that is just plain... stupid, and... well... killing yourself is not going to bring him back.
these kinda things kinda happens all the time. in HK, a girl group call Twins wanted to disband for a long time, cuz their image was that they look like twins and sings cute songs. they're getting older, and they know that image will wear off, so they wanted to disband. then this huge thing of messages came from their fans saying they will kill themselves or do harm to them [the girls] or to whatever. a itty bit too obessed?... uh yeah. neutral sorry, just an example i wanted to point out. thanks for your time. sweatdrop

i would not kill myself eek nothign agenst others but you have got some problems if you go and kill yourself over some one who dose bnto even know who you r....... i mean i liek Gackt jsut as much as the next person but come on its nto liek you are lovers with him or something scream ........................geeze xp

Wow, I was wondering how hide died, I haven't actually heard any of his music but from what I have heard he was really good.
I would never kill myself if Gackt died; but I would make sure I buy everything of his that I can... product wise. And I would cry, really really hard.

I have this really weird obsession with Gackt...Like when I see his picture or listen to him sing, or watch him on some video...I knida get all flustered and its hard to breathe and such. I'd probably faint if I met him.
It hurts to think about Gackt dying. It would take me a very long time to cope, but I would never ever kill myself because of that. That sounds kinda emo .

1) I'd be shocked, then angry, then mourn. I'd make a looong playlist with all his songs and play it on random all day, for weeks, as tribute v_v I'd probably (as a writer) write some sort of lament, to send his soul off with best wishes from his fans~ *etcdramaticetcfreakyfandramaticetc*
2) I'd be mad. Really mad. I'm against suicide and consider it stupid, a weak means of escape for cowards...meaning I really hope Gackt NEVER even THINKS about it, because it means: no lament. v_v no playlist.
I wouldn't stop liking him though ;_;
...ok enough with all this death talk XD It's making me sad. *glomps Gackt's CDs* DONT YOU DIE

I would hate that. I would hate it if he died. I would mourn for YEARS. I would go emo and play every song he has ever sang. Watch every video that ever featured him. I would watch Moon Child untill I could cry no more. I would sell my liver for tickets to Japan, then gatecrash the funeral. Hmm. Maybe that last one isent a good idea. confused Well, I would be really sad. I would be inconsolable. I dont really want to think about Gackt dying, it hurts too much to think about it.
