"I'm fine... I was actually hoping to stay on the roof for a few hours until you woke up... by then it would've probably healed..." She turned her head a little away, a bit embarassed that her little plan was what caused all this trouble. "Heh... I guess it didn't work..." Rivera slowly took her arm off her eyes, adjusting to the dim light with blinks. Note: No more hiding in dark places for long periods of time... Just great... going out into the broad daylight was going to be such a pain... stupidity... "Just a question... how did you get Koishi to do that? You broke a class 1 sealing barrier... I can't break those yet and I'm an assassin. And Koishi's not even past mature period yet. How the hell did you control it?"

"I... I did... what? A class one seal? Broken by me? Impossible! Koishi just reacted to something and immediately freed itself from my grasp and flew into the door..." He said quietly, with surprise in his voice. "I didn't control it at all... It just... Did it on it's own..." He said quietly. He then got curious. "What didn't work?" He asked curiously. He thought about what Rivera said about mature period. If it's going to grow... Or age... Will it change in appearance? He thought curiously. He looked at Rivera and how she was turned away. He wondered why she was turned but shrugged it off.

Rin finally tore her gaze away from the wall, muttering a few things under her breath as her eyes darted around for someone else to ask. She spotted another who was leaning against a wall. This spirit was male as well but, unlike the others, he seemed very bored with nothing to do. She approached him slowly, arms folded irritably under her breath. "You," she began sharply, causing the spirit to look up at her, blinking a couple times. As soon as she thought she had his attention, Rin continued. "Do you know of anyone who could turn that guy back human?" She waved her hand at Razzer once more, having a short staring contest with the spirit who just gazed blankly at her. Then he nodded his head once, and started drifting lazily down the hall. Rin stared after him, and then glanced back towards Razzer. "This way, maybe," she mumbled. The spirit hadn't replied, so she wasn't sure, but he seemed to know. She began following him, walking right through a spirit with each step she took.

Razzer had his eyes closed, his tentacles crossed. As each unseen spirit passed through him something seemed to flicker in his mind... as if each one was trying to show him a memory...

Rin's voice snapped him out of it. His eyes opened, and he looked up.

"This way, maybe." she mumbled. Silently, Razzer got up and followed her. Had she possibly found one that could help him? Out of the possibly thousands of spirits that dwelled here, she could have found one so quickly? Razzer's respect for this girl quickly hightened. He would be deeply grateful if she could help him. Once - if - he got his body back he'd more effectively be able to channel his water manipulation powers. His lack of hands... or fingers, for that matter, made it impossible to perform some of the techniques he knew. He followed Rin, looking thoughtfully at his tentacles.

Rin glanced over her shoulder once, to see if Razzer was following, and then turned to face forward as she saw he was. She didn't bother talking to him, since she didn't have anything important to say. Instead she simply smoothed a bit of white lace that decorated her black dress, and then slightly adjusted one of her fingerless black gloves. She kept her bright eyes locked upon the spirit's back as she followed him further into the temple. "Are you sure you know someone?" she asked doubtfully.

The male slowly looked back at her, nodded once, and then disappered into a wall. Rin stopped abruptly, looking surprised, and then furious once more. Though, a couple seconds later the male stuck his head back out of the wall and then began leading them again. Rin watched him in a slight confusion, and slowly started following again, a little more wary this time. Hopefully he wasn't leading them into a trap of some sort. She couldn't say she trusted this place.

Rivera smiled, shaking her head. "We made a heck of a sword when you asked for one... Let's get out of here." She shrugged off his question, not wanting to talk about it. Her wound would heal in time... faster, actually, than most other wounds since it's more of a self inflicted one. She hadn't expected Koishi to be so strong... if it had been a less powerful sword, she wouldn't've recieved a wound drawing it. "I'll be fine... it's not like I'll collapse with a minor wound like--!" She suddenly reached out, grasping the wall for support.

"Okay... first thing I do when we're done with all this assassination business... housebreak Koishi to not steal energy from his mother." She gasped with a very annoyed voice.

Razzer followed Rin who was, presumably, following a spirit. She stopped abruptly and put on a couple strange facial expressions. But then she began walking again. Razzer, slightly baffled, said nothing. Instead he just followed silently. The halls of the temple, while not as magnificently decorated as the entrance hall, were still beautiful in their own eerie way. The mage shook his head violently. This place is really starting to affect me. He thought. It's too pure...

Razzer wasn't evil, but he certainly wasn't a saint. The temple obviously had some sort of purification spell on it to dispell those of a less-noble heart. He briefly wondered if Rin was affected like he was, but he figured she wasn't. Anyways, if she was, she wasn't showing it.

Rin continued after the spirit, completely silent. After a moment, her hand moved up to begin fingering the necklace she wore, but she didn't even start to lift it off, afraid of what might happen. She let out a sigh, not turning around as she spoke. "Hey, you read about my curse, right?" she muttered. "Do you think it'd be purified if I sat in here long enough?" She kept her eyes on the back of the spirit that was leading them, at the same time taking note of where they went. The last thing she wanted was to get lost. She sucessfully kept most emotion from her face as she asked though, but she really was anxiously waiting for an answer. It seemed too easy to her though. After living with this so long, it wouldn't be fixed so easily, would it? She bit her lip softly, but didn't turn around so hopefully Razzer wouldn't see.

Kira looked at her and grinned at her comment on the sword. "Yeah... Koishi is a great sword..." He said quietly, looking over his shoulder at the blade hilt. "Rivera... Don't over exert yourself..." He said when he heard her stop short in her sentence and nearly collapse, leaning on to a wall to keep herself up. He snapped with his right index and middle fingers against his thumb, causing a shadowy limb to emerge from his back. H picked her up with his right arm and makeshift left arm, his left arm of flesh still hanging limply at his side, carrying her out through the dimensional rift that lead back to her dorm.

Razzer shrugged, but remembered that Rin couldn't see it. "It might be. The thought crossed my mind a few minutes ago. But the girl isn't evil, is she? She's really just lonely." The mage wore a thoughtful look. "But she does seem to be hostile at times. So if you could... trick her into doing something particularly evil the purification spell might 'fix' her. But I'm not positive."

He was pretty much just running on theory and speculation, but Rin probably knew that. He worded his sentences carefully, not wanting to say something to offensively. The last thing he wanted was for Rin to turn on him and drop out this close to the end.

Rin frowned slightly, and then shrugged her shoulders as she continued walking. She didn't say anything aloud, but still thought to herself about the possible purification of the necklace. Maybe if she started to try to take it off? Then the woman would try taking control and... Rin shuddered without even realizing it, letting the thought trail off. She closed her eyes for a second, and then reopened them as she frowned into the spirit's back. No, she didn't want to think about that right now. She was busy with something else anyway.

So she simply brushed a strand of purple hair behind her ear as she spoke to the spirit, distracting herself. "Where are we going?" she demanded. At this, the spirit finally paused, and Rin stopped as well. She glanced around once, quickly, and noted there weren't quite as many spirits around in this area. She blinked once and tilted her head very slightly as the male replied. "I can do it," he said quietly, voice almost monotonous. "It was too crowded there." He raised one hand, lazily pointing the direction they'd come. Then he settled his gaze upon Razzer. "Now...?"

Rin started at him a moment, and then slowly turned to face Razzer. "Do you want to change back now? He says he can do it."

Razzer followed Rin for a minute more, then they stopped again. She stared ahead for a moment, and muttered something to whatever unseen spirit was in front of her. She slowly turned towards Razzer.

"Do you want to change back now?" she asked him. "He says he can do it."

This was it. The moment of decision. Either he say yes now and (hopefully regain the body he lost) or decline and learn to live with his current body for the rest of his life. He took a deep breath.

"Yes." he said finally, closing his eyes and exhaling.

Rin watched Razzer in complete silence, waiting for a response. When she received one, she simply nodded her head once and turned back to face the spirit again. She gazed at him for a second or two and then closed her eyes. "Then lend me your power," she said quietly and bowed her head to the ground. She stood perfectly still as the spirit slowly drifted towards her, and then seemed to enter inside her body rather than pass through like one may expect.

For a few more seconds Rin neither spoke, nor made a sound. And then she very slowly raised her head, turning around to face Razzer. She looked down, her expression somewhat blank, and then tugged lightly at her dress. "I'm... wearing a dress," she mumbled akwardly, and then looked back at Razzer. She smiled faintly, which seemed rather odd, and then spoke in a strangely gentle voice. "Are you ready?" Without waiting for a reply, she held both of her hands towards him, palm flat, and closed her eyes. For a second nothing happened, and then a faint glow surrounded Razzer, starting at his feet, er... tentacles, and slowly moving upwards until the glow had consumed even his head. Then Rin opened her eyes again, lowering her hands back to her sides as she watched him curiously for an outcome.

When Razzer gave his answer, Rin nodded and turned her back to him. A moment or two - though it felt like an eternity longer - Rin turned back to face Razzer. Her eyes were glazed over, and she looked at her dress for a moment. Slightly baffled, she mumbled the exclamation that she was wearing a dress. Obviously the spirit speaking through her - or she'd gone off her rocker.

"Are you ready?" Rin/the spirit asked. She held her hands out, and closed her eyes. That's when it began. It was barely noticeable at first, but then the glow began to make its way from his bottom-most tentacles upwards, eventually enveloping his whole body. The feeling was the most bizarre one Razzer had ever experienced. It hurt, but wasn't a painful hurt... it was kind of like he was a doll, being unstitched. It made sense to him, anyways. Razzer closed his eyes and let the unfelt changes take place.

A few moments later he could feel the energy surrounding him going away. He waited a moment before slowly opening his eyes. His feet - feet, not tentacles - were fit snugly into the shoes he had worn before he had been transformed. His clothes must have transformed with him. Man, was Razzer glad. He held his hands in front of his face and stared at them. Just to see if they were real, he wiggled his fingers. He was back!

Just then, Razzer's tentacle involuntarily twitched. Slightly surprised, he looked behind him. One of his tentacles was still protruding from the bottom of his spine, just above his butt. Razzer blinked. Well, he still had one tentacle, but he was back. He could have cried, but instead he settled for looking back to Rin and smiling.

"Rin, thank you." he said quietly.
