Dir en Grey fan here, and I envy those American fans that are seeing them live.

I don't blame people for being a little upset that Diru are touring in america. The avalon show was awsome becasue that was only hard core fans. But the FVT was floded with fan girls stare But if they do really good here then they should start touring to other places too^.^ Its not like america is the only place they came to. 4laugh

o-o Well Vulgar.. isn't exactly old like Gauze, and you saying that sort of suprises me because of the fact that a lot of the fanbase either liked Vulgar and on or prefered Missa/Gauze/Macabre dsldjlxd. Kisou can go either way, I guess. It's sort of in the middle. (Personally I like everything) But I don't blame you Hizuki, then again hearing that sort of thing said is so incredibly common.. blah, I don't mind those who dislike their newer stuff, as long as they aren't all elite about it, you know?

Blah, this seems to be a reacurring discussion.. everywhere...

I feel bad sometimes when I talk to old fans coz they always complain about new fans, but I am not like those other new fans, I enjoy and revere and try to learn about a band as much as I can because I love it and because if I like one thing, I may like another thing, and I don't usually call myself a true fan until I know a lot about them/ listened to a lot of their music...
So sorry for the angsty explosion there...
DIR EN GREY ROCKS! I was going to see them on FVT when they came over here but I couldn't go crying crying crying
...and by the way, on their home website, in the "message Kyo/Kaoru/Die/Shinya/Toshiya" part, do they ever answer those anymore because I sent one to Shinya and Die...Well, the one to Shin-chan was while they were still out on tour, but the one to Die was a week ago. Is it because of a language barrier that they don't usually get back to english speaking fans or what?
(I'm tired and explosive so lemme alone...)

I can't imagine that they, or any band, has enough time to respond to every single message they get. I mean, I'm sure there are hundreds every single day.

Besides, the messages should be sent out of devotion to the band, not in the hope of hearing something back. 3nodding

As for old/new Diru...

I hate when people bring drama into music. You either love it, and listen to it, or dislike it and go your seperate way. heart
PostPosted: Tue Nov 14, 2006 11:33 am

Yeah, its very rare that any band like this thats this large and gets so many emails a day to respond.

On a side note, though... Die speaks perfiect english, so if any of them were going to respond he would be the one to do it.
