I think the AIMing adds a layer of surprise, but it sort of takes away from the community aspect of the game. Plus I don't have internet at home. crying

It looks like a flavour of the month thing to me. Eventually it will die out, and something new will take its place. Maybe email-sniping, or torrent-sniping or whatever.

I think this is just people's alternative to giftsniping, which was fun...but we have no outlet of anonymity anymore since gifting was disabled, so we turn to messengers...
