Rhiannon2006 keetabirdy Rhiannon2006 I actually recognized a few of these. Sent you a PM with my guesses. It was fun remembering some of those songs! biggrin Can you please post your guesses in the thread? And just so you know, only complete answers are acceptable sweatdrop I know a few of them, although I'm not sure if I got the title exactly correct... redface . And I promise, no cheating. Nice to see some oldies but goodies! biggrin List 1 1. "Music of the Night" from The Phantom of the Opera (Gerard Butler most recently) 2. (Think I know the title but not the artist... sad )4. "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" from The Lion King (Elton John) 7. (Drats! Can't remember the silly name but hum the tune and know the artist... grr!)8. (Finally remembered this one!) "My Heart Will Go On (Theme from Titanic)" by Celine Dion 9. "Fly Away" by John Denver with Olivia Newton-John ???10. "Only the Good Die Young" by Billy Joel 11. "House at Pooh Corner" by Loggins and Messina (among others) 12. "Precious Love (How Can It Be?)" by various Christian artists16. (I can hear the music to this one in my head because they play at every basketball game at my sons' former high school... ARGH!)18. "Top of the World" by the Carpenters The ones not crossed out are correct 3nodding

I think #2 is called "Rockstar" and it's by Smashmouth. Actually, the only thing I'm sure of is that it's by Smashmouth because it's on the SHREK soundtrack.
And #17 is something about Jupiter by a band who's name I don't know. For some reason air conditioners comes to mind, but I'm sure that isn't right. I'd ask Umberella, but it's in what she classes as "Whiney Music" so I don't think she'd be able to give me the details.
I'm looking forward to finding out what #15 actually is.
Oh dang. I just googled it. I'm not looking forward to it at all, now!

You'd have to read a locked thread to understand why I'm not looking forward to finding out about #15. It mostly has to do with the subject matter! And I'm afraid I did the best I could guessing those two songs. I'd have to google to get the details and that's cheating.
And, yeah, I'm scared. I'm scared for the whole world if we don't wise up and let the subject matter of #15 just fade away. At least, the adult world...

2. She was lookin' kinda dumb with her finger and her thumb in the shape of an "L" on her forehead. All Star - Smash Mouth [thanks Harbone for the clue]
7. I'd rather be a hammer than a nail... Pope - Prince confused
16. Are you ready? Are you ready for this? Are you hangin' on the edge of your seat? {out of nowhere the bullets rip!} Another One Bites the Dust - Queen
#15 sounds like a Queen song but I haven't a clue really....

Number 7 is from the 70's ~ sung by a male (or group) and cannot for the life of me remember the artist or the title of the song ~ though the entire tune is now running obnoxiously through my head and refuses to let me think about the others... sweatdrop

This would be so much easier if my cousin hadn't borrowed so many of my CD's (took them home with her to Oregon) as any number of the songs are on them. gonk
