Thanks. ^__^ There's also a special suit in Metroid Fusion unofficially called the Omega Suit that you can only get when you've been infused by the SAX and have to fight the last boss, kinda like the hyperbeam when fighting the mother brain for the last time in Super Metriod.

No problem! Whoa, really? That's basically how the Phazon Suit works. You get a whole lot of phazon dumped on you, so the gravity suit gets infused with phazon, so it gives you more shielding, the ability to walk on blue phazon without harm, and with the last boss, metroid prime, during the second phase of battle you use the phazon beam to defeat him. That, and it looks uberly awesome. Srsly.

I really liked Metroid Zero Mission for the GBA. Especially the end AFTER you beat MotherBrain for the first time. (And I say for the first time ,because you kill her again in Super Metriod for the SNES.)*SPOILER* I loved running around with a wimpy gun, no armor and having to dodge all those space pirates and move around without being caught. It was a total surprise to me when it happened; I thought when I killed Mother Brain, that was the end! But it wasn't! biggrin */SPOILER*

Argh! I found this really great Metroid Database online The Metroid Database but in order to listen to or download any of the music from it, I have to pay money! crying domokun Does anyone have a link to the soundtrack for Metroid where you DON'T have to buy a subscription to the site?

Although, if you still need it, I've been playing though the orginal Metroid Prime again, and I've figured out where your problem is with Thardus. (Rock boss). Have you beaten him yet?

Samus is definately cool and she can show the world that a girl doesnt have to wear skimpy clothes to be attractive. Also Corruption was announced to not be a luanch title for the wii anymore, but it will be coming out

4laugh I FINALLY BEAT THARDUS! IN YOUR FACE, ROCK MONSTER!!! dramallama
I had to hide in a corner where he couldnt' reach me with his roll attack or ice trap and destroy rocks for energy for most of the battle, but I did it! I finally figured out how to use the thermal visor most effectively during the battle and it worked! HA HA! Now maybe I can finally beat the rest of the game. I've been stuck here since the end of the summer!
Has anyone here played the Wii game for Metroid yet? Metroid Corruption? Any thoughts? ^(^_^)^ <(^_^<) ^(^_^)^ (>^_^)> ^(^_^)^ (>^_^<)

lol I guess that would explain why noone's played Metroid 3 yet; it's not out! I thought it was going to be a release-game for the Wii but it isn't. It's not coming out until sometime in 2007. I watched some cool trailers for it though and it looks really good. About the same graphics quality as Metroid Prime or Prime 2: Echoes but a better story. I still haven't beaten Metroid Prime yet, so I can't tell you much about how the story goes; I just know that Metroid Corruption finishes off the story with Dark Samus.

I noticed in a poll today here in the guild that only 3 other people besides myself said that Samus was their favorite video game heroine. Maybe its' because we don't really get to know Samus as a person; she's too busy killing metroids or space pirates, and she doesn't actually get any dialogue in her games. We can admire Samus for her physical prowess, cool items and smexy powersuit, but we dont' really know her at all. Unlike other characters, like Zelda or Aeris, Samus is a silent action hero. Thoughts?

(ATTENTION!!: METROID PRIME 3: CORRUPTION NEWS)
Ive got to say.. after my incounter with E3 and the Wii, the crowd was going as crazy as me. I tried off the demo for metroid prime corruption for the wii, and it was a spectacular. For the first time, I here a guy talking in human language(the start of the game.)Finally, voice acting. It's sorta like the first lvl. in the first halo: u start off in a battle ship by waking up in this bed like thingy, then you talk to the captain of the ship. After the talk, ur able to use ur gun. The whole ship starts getting invaded by space pirates. The captain tells you to get out, you start gettin outta there, watching from a glass window: millions of spaceships getting destroyed, while other ships are gettin boarded by little dots(spacepirates) same as the ship ur in. whats pretty cool is that Metroid 3 takes absolute high advantage of the Wii remote no worrys of bad handling of a gun like in red steel, red steel was just giving great ideas for the wii's next FPS's(firstpersonshooter) union. for example of the wii mote advantages in Metroid 3: if your mouth is close to wii remote and ur breathing on it, ur helmet starts getting foggy, and ull have to pretend ur nunchuk attachment is your hand by making a motion as if your wiping ur face. If u killed an alien brutally, u must do the same procedure as the one before(Their gonna rate this T if theres blood, why did they rate Halo M instaed of T.)Still, the game has very beautiful Halo 2 like graphics...maybe even better than that. Ill tell ya more when later on the time comes

my favorite is metroid prime 3 corruption. Its better than the other metroid primes... except Hunters for the DS.

Cool! Thanks for the update! It sounds really realistic. smile
I'm still working my way through Metroid Prime; I'm stuck on the Omega Pirate. That b*****d is TOUGH. I've got 9/12 of the artifacts already, and am only missing one of the upgrades for my gun; the ice/missle combo. Any tips on where that could be would be appreciated!
