"I think I got a handle of this place now, I can probably find my way out again!" The elf nodded. Knowing that he most likely remembered the way back out, but he wasn't planning on leaving any time really soon. Not until he finishes the research on his wand.
"You could always put him in his own room... or you could get ear muffs." Kyo grinned and chuckled lightly.

"Okay good." Dixie thought she remembered the way out as well, but she still wasn't sure whether or not this place was magical. She could handle children that came out of inanimate objects, but magic houses were still a little more than she was willing to admit existed. "I thought we weren't going to be able to find our way out of here," she said with a slight grin.
Dixie nodded. "He's got his own room, but he doesn't like it much. He won't cry unless he's hurt, but he knows how to scream when he's locked in. My father usually lets him out. Archie's a pushover like that." If she sounded callous, Dixie didn't seem to notice.
Alek lifted his head at the mention of his grandfather's name, but when he didn't see the puppet-man anywhere, he leaned back into Dixie's shoulder.

"That’s kind of funny..." The elf let out a rolling chuckle. "I still have a ton of books to be going through.." Kyo shrugged his shoulders and scan down the many book cases filled with knowledge.
"It's going to take me hours to get through them all, but then maybe I'll be more familiarized with all of them!" The elf nodded.
"How long have you had Alex?" The elf turned his back away from the woman and towards the book case he was recently tearing apart, but yet kept his head tilted so she was in the corner of his eye.

Dixie looked over at the shelves as Kyo did. "Yeah, hours," she said. She certainly hoped to not be there that long.
"I got his wand in May, but he just turned into this." She bounced Alek higher on her hip and he let out a surprised 'oof.' That was kind of fun!

"Hmm interesting. Hey I still have a lot of books to be going through." The elf once again scanned up and down the shelves. "I should probably get back to them before it gets to late." Kyo nodded, turning his head back toward Dixie and Alex.
"I hope I get to see you guys around here more often, I enjoyed making your acquaintance!" Kyo smiled and bowed in the normal Elvin way.

Dixie nodded. "We should be going too." She supposed she could make do with one of the least stupid Curious George books for Alek's first storytime.
"We'll be seeing you around," she said with a smile, before turning back to where they had come in. "It was nice to meet you." Dixie gave Kyo a short wave and Alek mimicked her before she pushed open the door and headed back to headquarters and outside.
