DeArca watched and smiled as he untied his rope off the logs he had carried and went back down. "You don't need to overdo it, Varlan. We have all day to get this done!" He said.

Varlan snorted again at the sound of his offer, too prideful to be told what he could and couldn't do. He was gonna get as many up at one time as he could.
Boys, they had to show how tough they were.
Varlan struggled again to get two up. Once done, he went back down and gathered another three, struggling them up the hill.

DeArca watched and crossed his arms, smiling as he shook his head. "Ok! If you want to play it that way. How about a suggestion then? I bet you can do better...I bet you can do more!" He said, getting his rope as he tied a harness like knot around Varlan's chest, only to tie five logs at the other end. "Alright, then lets see if you can handle this many." He asked.
Ash got on the five logs for another ride, bracing himself as he waited for Varlan to start.

Varlan looked behind him and then up at the wagon. Three was a challenge...but five? What id he really couldn't do it. He looked down with a bit of a pout but then glared as he charged forward, feeling the rope tighten. He whined some and began to charge ahead with the logs digging into the ground behind him. He whined again, the logs not letting him get ahead.

DeArca watched but he couldn't let Varlan tire out before the first round. "Alright alright...how about this!" He asked, he dug the logs out with a tug and smiled. "Try pulling...without thrashing about. You can mak the weight, you don't need to make the speed" He asked.

Varlan looked at DeArca and then charged again, only to dig the logs in. He stopped when it didn't work...so...what other choice did he have? He pulled slow, feeling the logs drag. It seemed to work. By charging he only got a few inches, but now he got a few feet when the logs didn't dig in the ground. Once up the hill, he rested.

DeArca smiled and untied the logs. "You see that....more logs and less time all because of you, Varlan. You definately are strong! We'll wait a minute and then do it again" DeArca scratched his ears and then went down the hill once more to gather the rest of the logs.

Varlan did wait a minute for a breath but he went back down the hill to start up again.

DeArca smiled to see Varlan so eager to work and tied off another four logs which were all that was left. "Alright, Varlan. We'll start lunch when we're done with this and then we'll all get a bath!" he asked.

Varlan tugged again as the logs had followed him up the hill and with a snort, he fought out of the rope. He didn't like dragging it along anymore and then snorted once more, walking over to Ash who was always riding on his logs. He leaned forward, snorting to knock him off the log.

"Now that's not very nice, Varlan. Don't be mean. I know Ash was sorry for scaring you like that earlier!" DeArca frowned some.
Ash was holding onto the log, almost getting blown away by Varlan's snort. However Ash wasn't upset, he was having fun. That was actually kinda cool...

Varlan huffed a little and with his snout, pushed Ash over onto the grass just to tease. He wasn't going to hurt Ash, just push him around a little bit.

Ash fell onto the grass, only to squeak as he jumped back on, latching down. He was thinking Varlan was playing a game so he squeaked, waiting to be pushed over again.

Varlan huffed when Ash seemed to be playing around, so he pushed Ash over again and snorted.

Ash squeaked when he fell, but he was persistent and jumped back on, wanting to be knocked over again.
