-Tego snapped in the direction of the outstuck tongue, acting as if he intended to bite off the tiny pink bit had be been close enough, toothy grin touching her statement. However his eyes soon drew back to Hivu, shrugging his shoulder.- "I never said they were his. I just said that you were delusional if you thought this 'Lim' was a god."
-He'd been about to speak again, some mean comment on the idioicy of Hivu and her choice in men when suddenly a weight crashed against his back, and he almost faltered, head snapping back to the final freak as it righted itself on his back. Roar rippling through his throat, he turned quickly thrusting his growling muzzle right into the face of the male cub before he even had time to settle his little body completely upon the ground. Tego was obviously fuming, and from this position there was very little other then a full out attack from the leopardess that'd be able to save her only son if Tego snapped.- "You little moron!"

The falling cub surprised Hivu as much as it did Tego, she nearly jumped at the shock of it, but managed to only flinch a bit. Her motherly instincts kicked in, Tego was furious and if he attacked her son would be helpless. She unleashed a roar of her own, "Don't you touch him Tego!"
It was scary really, she had never been so angry, not even towards Tego, her claws were extended, her head low in an agressive stance, and her ears were back against her head. This mother would stop at nothing to keep her cubs safe. A loud growl emmited from within her, maw in an intense snarl.
Where had her brother come from? There wasn't much time to think about it, she squeaked and cowered as Tego roared at him, though not nearly as much as when her mother retaliated. She knew this male was a meanie head, but her mother? Perhaps she wasn't being mean, but she sure was being scary.
And with good reason, Kumbu snapped into one of her 'angry' mood swings, growling angrily and rushing over to her brother, "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" She growled as loud as she could right in his face. If Tego did anything she would be right there with her mother defending them.

Bu quickly padded before her brother, standing in the way of the aggressive male. She had no clue what she was doing, it was as if her body acted on its own accord. Maybe it was her sibling instinct to protect her younger siblings being the oldest. Or perhaps it was just because he was a boy in danger. Either way, she was between the two males, a small defenseless female cub with no experience in fighting.
"STAY AWAY FROM HIM!"
She cried out, snarling loudly. Instinct. As much as she would loved to live and see more boys, she was willing to die right there for her brother if need be.

Nac looking as if he was ready to pee himself looking from his mother and then to his sisteres and then to tego. "I'm sorry mister..." He choked out and after a moment he attempted to shove his sisters aside and give them dirty looks.
Gathering up somewhat of an apologetic look while trying to be brave and not coward like some little sissy. "I didn't mean to.... Honest, if I would've been awake I wouldn't have landed on you like that and scared you." He looked at his mother, "Mother it my fault dont' be mad at him..."
Looking up to this rather large leopard fellow he tried to give him big puppy eyes. "I'll make it up to you sir!! Just tell me what I can do." Maybe I can get him to praise me... maybe he'll give me something to do and I can get approvel from him on how good I look... It'll prove to my sisters how much more good looking than them I am.

-Tego hissed as the barrage of freaks settled before him, Hivu's own words assualting him from behind. And he was fuming, hair bristling on his back as he fought the urge to dig his claws into the pelts of the moronic children that sat before him.
Ignoring the plight of the male child and the words that shifted from them Tego lifted himself, stalking back over to his prey with an angry growl.- "Obviously you've yet to teach your children of the monsters that prowl the jungles and eat the helpless. Or perhaps you still haven't grasped it yourself."
-His game was gone, this was no fun at all. The stupid children.. and stupid Hivu again. As if her acting ridiculously girlie with Icxy wasn't enough.. now with children it seemed her attitude had changed again. Well screw her. He didn't need her to have fun. Barking on last threat he cast a dark look towards Tego, malice lacing his words.- "You'd better keep an eye on those cubs. Wouldn't want one of them to become someone's dinner."
-Lifting his prey, he gave a hard tug, adreniline helping him pull the large beast away from the group and back towards the falls. Now what the hell was he going to do with this?-

Hivu took a deep breath as Tego left, they were all safe and that was all that mattered. "Look all of you, Tego is not someone you want to run into all alone, understand?" She said softly, "He is not friendly at all, if you happen to find him sometime and nobody else is around, come find me, alright?"
Kumbu turned to her mother, "Yes mama." She said, her temper fading, "You alright Nac?" She asked, looking at him in a concerned fasion. "Tego sure is scary, isn't he?"

Bu let out a breath of air and sat herself down, watching as the other male left. He was handsome, but he needed some major help on his anger management issues. He has many anger flaws, though that is how Bu saw it. Slowly she got up and nuzzled her brother. "You alright, Nac?" she asked looking over his fur and body for any wounds that may have appeared from the fall.
"Yes mother, I'll be sure to stay away from him." Or rather, admire him from afar rather up close.

Nac murfed brushing down his fur as he got bombared with 'are you okays.' His pride was hurt, what was worse was that he didn't get so much as a grin from the male he sighed. "Yeah I'm fine..."
He looked after Tego before sitting down slightly crushed. "I thought he was rather nice. Maybe he wouldn't have been so cranky had I not landed on him.... I mean after all wouldn't you be cranky too?" He asked looking at his mother. Tears flitering up, "The ugly brute didn't so much as notice my apology...." Getting up he murfed and headed towards the tree, looking rather hurt that he male didn't even care that he'd offered to try to make it up to him.
"Maybe if I could prove I was sorry.... He couldn't be that bad.... I mean after all he was just caught off gaurd...." He sighed... "All my fault." Looking back towards the male as he dragged off his kill, Nac moved over towards his mother and nuzzled into her fur, "Mooootthhhheeer, make him see I'm sorry!!"
"Make uncle tego come back and play nice!!!" He said looking up at his mother his eyes big and begging, he wanted another male around... Tego seemed like someone he could learn from. Maybe that's why he called him uncle... "I need another male arounnndd..." persistance whining... maybe it'd get on her nerves enough to go after tego. Maybe it'll change his attitude and make him see that I am sorry. Nac thought to himself pretty hopeful like.

((*Continues on with Tego for kicks*))
-Tego pulled the beast after him with force, at one point nearly ripping apart a tangling of vines as he yanked as his stuck beast with frustration. But finally the sound of the falls touched his ears, and he turned his direction to it, coming to settle in the clearing that surrounded it.
Claws dug into his prey, ripping and tearing at the poor carcass for no reason other then letting out agression. Sighing finally when the entire back leg had become indistinguishable from his assualt. Taking a large bite he turned, coming to lay on his back, eyes switching to the little bit of sky that peeked through the canopy. It really was a good antelope.. all things forgotten.-

"Rather nice? No Nac, he's not very nice, even before you landed on him he was being mean to us, right girls?" She asked her daughters, receiving a nod from Kumbu. "He's just an angry brute, he has problems with his temper." She said, shaking her head.
"Its not your fault little one." She said, stroking her son gently with a paw, "I'm afraid I can't make him see that you're sorry, but don't you worry about it." She said gently.
"Uncle?" She asked, "Uncle Tego doesn't play very nice, but maybe if you see him again he'll be in a better mood."
Well, that was over, time to start finding something to do today. Kumbu climbed up the tree and started batting at leaves with her tiny paws, paying no attention to the scene below.
There was a bird on the branch, facing the other direction, it was small, but not so small that it couldn't fly away if it wanted. This could be a good game, sneak up on the bird and then play with it. Kumbu crouched down and started creeping towards it, making little noise and being sure not to rustle the nearby leaves too much.

Bu yawned and climbed back up the tree again and laid nicely on her branch. That was eventfull and exciting but that just made her tired. She needed some more time to rest. Next time, she was gonna let Nac handle it himself. It was apparent that Nac didn't appreciate her gesture. He wanted to gain approval from him? What? She just sighed and looked down.
"Mother? I am going back to sleep for a while. I am tired." she spoke, hoping she heard her down there. Slowly she rested her head next to her paws and closed her eyes. Soon enough she was out like a light.

Nac sighed looking at his mother and nodded, "alright..." He looked around, "I'm going to trot down the the river and explore. Otay?" His tail flickered.
"I'll be careful." He added with a nod. As he started to head off that way, he was almost curious as to were tego had gone but he knew better than to go looking for him... but if the accidently ran into him maybe he wouldn't get eatin. "And if I run into uncle tego I'll come running back."
His intentions were more along the lines of, if tego snapped at him and tried to eat him he would run, but mayhaps tego had, had time to cool off. "I wanna see ifI can't find something as pretty as you to bring back mother." He added over his shoulders pauseing just insite of her waiting to see if she'd actully stop him from going off.

"You go ahead and rest if you like Bu." Hivu called up to her before turning to her son. She didn't really want him going off on his own, but she had to give them some freedom. "Alright, if you want, just don't be gone too long, alright?" She said, smiling warmly at his complement. Flattery would get you everywhere.
The bird Ku had been stalking flew off from the noise, oh well... Kumbuko just lay down on her branch and dozed off, even with all her energy she could do with a nap.

"I won't be Mother!" He called out as he bounded off happily towards the river. Once out of site he started looking for a pretty flower like him for his mother. Hoping around the rocks, he paused at a partiucally pretty bush and chuffed picking it looking around for more. He needed to get his collection nicely in tow before he headed back towards mother.
Findingm ore along the river he chuckled picking them and weaveing them into a crown.... well rather large necklace. Before hoping back towards where they'd made their home at. Humming as he wondered back he giggled. "I can't wait to see uncle tego again. I'll apologize then and make him understand I didn't mean to."
He grinned as he ran back taking his mother the presant.

Hivu smiled at her son as he returned, he was such a sweet little boy. "Thank you Narcissus, they're beautiful." She purred, "Now I think you could use some rest, look at your sisters, they're all tired out. Even Ku!"
She laughed, "Get some sleep Nac, I'll be back with some food later." She said with a warm smile.
