lu-tze I.Am And worship crackers! xd Lots of kids always makes me think of "stereotypical" Catholics. I'm Catholic! But... I have no kids razz Well, not that I know of... And seeing as I have never donated or had sex then I assume I don't have any... Oh, I'm Male by the way. Well, I meant stereotypical married Catholics. XP I mean, my mom has 7 kids, and I'm the oldest. O.O That's insane. I'm Catholic too, btw. blaugh

Back when I lived in Kentucky people in our parish would be shocked at my parents and their five kids (I'm the oldest).
Now in New Jersey we're kinda overshadowed by this one couple who has nine. xd

Oh man, you people. I only have one sibling, my younger sister. I would have another brother or a sister that would be about 6 years old right now, but my mom had a miscarriage.
And now we have Amby living with us and she's been like another sister for a long time before. I just keep forgetting that she's older than me. xD
I want to have 2-3 kids of my own and then I want to adopt some older kids. Like 4-7 year olds, maybe older all depending. Just when I was doing a project on teen pregnancy for school last semester I had to do a bit on adoption, so I was looking at all these orphans and I was like "I'll love you!"
But I couldn't. sad

That's so sad. I wanted to open a home for orphans, lol. My dream was dashed.
I've got an older sister, younger brother. My mom still says she wants more. My dad didn't until he became Catholic. Coincidence? I think not!
Eh. I'll take what I'm given. Though I'm hoping it's only two or three...three's a nice number.... sweatdrop

But I couldn't. sad My mom miscarried a child a little over a year after I was born. Then the rest of my siblings came. It's a little stange feeling that I could have spent my childhood growing up with a brother instead of the sister I have now. But she is my best friend and one of the greatest blessings in my life. I don't plan to have THAT big of a family though. Neither me nor my boyfriend could handle it. XD Maybe also two or three. In high school I saw a video about the development of a human baby. I think it was called "The Miracle of Life" or something like that. Anyways, it showed a live birth on the video...like camera situated at the "best seat in the house". I was so creeped out that I was spazzing and vowing that I was going adopt whatever kids I had. I tell ya...to get to that beautiful moment you gotta go through a hell of ugly. That definately looks like it hurts. whee I'm a little less jaded four years later but my mom still likes to joke about how I'm squeemish about pregnancy...while my sister wants to breed like a rabbit. (she never saw the video)

A video is nothing.

Oh gosh!
As unforgetable as I'm sure the experiance is, I would have fainted if I were in that position. Just seeing my youngest sister with a bad nosebleed almost made me black out.
Good thing I'm not going into medicine. sweatdrop

For one thing, if she's going to watch it, can't she at least have the volume down so there isn't a bunch of moaning coming from the living room? eek For another thing, she's got 7 kids, all of which she gave birth to... I don't think she needs to watch those shows to know what live birth is like. rolleyes

I'm a pro-life female. :O
My sister and mother, and everyone else in my family are, too. Mostly women but men also.
My boyfriend is kind of undecided. He doesn't like the idea of abortion but he thinks that in some cases it is necessary.

Chemical Imbalance My boyfriend is kind of undecided. He doesn't like the idea of abortion but he thinks that in some cases it is necessary. My boyfriend is pro-life enough to say so...but he's not an activist so it's hard to tell where he stands on the issue in every aspect (such as rape). He's not really into activism in general. However I know he is pro-life enough to support me if I become pregnent and not encourage me to get an abortion. I don't know how much he would discourage it but....well...then again...actually he might discourage it a lot just to prevent me from compromising my views and guilt-tripping myself into a depression and he would DEFINATELY discourage it if he was the father.

I.Am, your mother and my mother would get along.
They could watch their little birth shows, and chat about how many hours they were in labour.

Well, being a new member, I guess I should contribute to the census. I am a male pro-lifer. I am also, suprisingly not Catholic. I seem to have gone from one minority (in the open abortion debate forum) to another. I am a confirmed Lutheran and I enjoy debating my ideas against those of others.

Liberal, Pagan, bisexual and vegetarian.
I own the minority group. I'm like the Queen of the minority group. Queen because I've been here since before this was an actual guild and was just a thread.
