yes i will agree that her time on was short and her isolation was wrong. but another thing that was wrong was that all of them did not wear any clothes, always forced to be nude, thats so wrong as well

well if you think about it if Mariko wasn't held in confinment she would proably be like lucy or nana. when a child is born they are complete. Then as they grow humanity takes things away from them. This time it took her sanity and her compassion(by locking her up) . thats what I think anyways

I don't think she was a monster. I think she was that way because being locked up all her life in the darkness, so that would probably make anyone angry and hateful like that.

Using nana as an example if they had proper emotional support then they wouldnt give in to their murderus insitincts. Because the only contact with any emotional support was her foster mother over the speaker she wouldn't have been able to properly overcome her insitct.
Her age and the emotional parental support she had whatsoever made her a sweet little girl half the time. clearly if she was given as much positive attention as nana had she probebly wouldn't be such a monster.
BUT NO MATTER WHAT SHE WILL ALWAYS BE THE CUTEST DICLONIUS EVER!!!
(not counting the others when they where children)

UV that is so true, but also the idea of bombs planted into a body seems so cruel, its insane. The same principle goes for Lucy, when she was younger the boys picked on her and for that time frame of days or weeks she was saved from insanity.
